What Happened To Jeepers Creepers 3? 

As bad as 3 is it’s got nothing on 4 that makes this look like the godfather.

The budget for the movie was like $120. Writing was about as good as a Lifetime movie. I wish we could just erase the 3rd movie and redo it.

Sadly, Victor threw a spiked wrench into Jeepers Creepers 3 production with his creeper behavior.

Sure pt 3 was a let down but it was way better than the reboot. Reboot was one of the worst films ever made imo. Should of just made a trilogy with a legit ending where gina and the old man hunt and kill the creeper for good

Apparently, Buddy and Addison's actors didn't get along during filming, which certainly shows during their performances.

I want a Jeepers Creepers western movie when cowboy train bank robbers rob a train at night getting attacked by the creeper or they get off the train on horseback with money. Getting tracked down by the law and the creeper who has wooden horse carriage. Lots of gun shootouts.

The reboot makes part 3 look tier Godfather or The Shining.

The Creeper had enchanted weapons in the other movies, plus we ARE talking about a monster that awakens to feed. So, the truck doesn't bother me. In fact, it added some. Side note: really dig the new outro song. I have liked all of the outro music JoBlo Horror uses, but this one had me dancing in my car. 😊

I remember being excited for years, reading every update I could find about Jeepers Creepers 3 and was let down by what we were given when it was finally released. Then came Reborn which turned out to be so much worse than 3, honestly just let Salva finish his franchise, I’ll be satisfied knowing the Creeper goes out with a bang

Reading the comments, I’m in the minority, I dug this movie, not as good as 1 and 2 but my main problem with 3 was stated in this video and that was they made it seem like we were gonna see the visions that they were seeing with the hand…and we didn’t! Lame!

Literally only one cool/creepy scene, and it wasn't even a scene on total, it was just a creepy shot of him standing on the van as he rolled by the two cops

This is not a low point in the franchise. That would be the one that came AFTER this one.

Sucks because I think 3 ended with a tease that Trish was coming back to avenge Darry but JC Reborn was not that at all :(

Somebody was reading Stephen King's It when they came up with this concept for a movie.

I don't think the character should suffer because of what the weirdo did, we had different people make halloween movies, friday the 13th, and others etc. the character is good and should be in the hands of someone else.

Why couldn't they make so some people find the abandoned factory that the creeper took darry back to and discover his lair. So they run away but he catches their scent and smells something he wants so he begins hunting them but they think hes just a normal person?

It was a good movie overall but with the haitus from waiting about 14 years was not worth it but i would've wanted Trish and Ray Wise's character to go against the Creeper in Jeepers Creepers 4 instead of the reboot. Overall great review and a definite subscribe. Keep up the good work JoBlo!!!!!

JC4 makes JC3 look like a award winning masterpiece

I wish it was an actual sequel that we deserve. It was good to see the creeper back finally but very very disappointing at the same time.

I wish we would have gotten a continuation set after part 2.

I actually wrote a treatment of my own for a 4th film that was a prequel set during the Wild West and sees a small mining community being terrorised by night by something that lives within a nearby, dilapidated cathedral. When it kidnaps one of the women from the town a posse gets together to go get her, only to discover the assailant is actually The Creeper and this is his 23rd and final day, at which point they’ll be free of him for another 23 years. The idea would be that the film wouldn’t be called Jeepers Creepers but would simply be called Cathedral and the Creeper would be hidden from all marketing and pre-release material so it’s a shock for audiences when it turns out to actually be a prequel

Jeepers creepers 3 should have been part 2 because at the end part 3 part 2 starts. because there's a school bus at the end of part 3 that's the bus that was stuck on the side of the road in part 2

If this was made to be like Halloween Kills I think it could have worked out better in terms of the town coming together to fight and him attacking everyone but the low budget Effects and script killed it completely. Shoutout Jonathan B tho ✊🏾

The ending of the third film was kinda confusing. It's about the bus full of students. Was that the same bus from jeepers creepers 2? Or was it just a sort of reference, but it was actually a different bus?

We're talking about a movie that only got one million dollars for budget, in comparison, the second movie had a budget of 10 millions.

I forgot about part 3 lol JC reborn was so bad, i considered turning it off about 30mins into it but said "no it'll get better" the credits started rolling and it never got better lol

Part 3 was a massive let down, I really really wanted to like it too, I was so hyped for this! But knowing it was just a story between 1&2, unlikeable main characters, the fact the creeper truck could spit out heat seeking bombs like poop is so left field for the creeper cause up until 3 i believed he was more of a medieval weaponry kinda monster and not an explosives expert!! Also that truck could of been it's own monster villain in its own movie!! And don't get me started on reborn!! That movie should never ever been made

I totally would've made Creeper a cowboy from the Old West who gets cursed by a Native Witchdoctor...much more original and creative which would somewhat explain Creeper's attire.

The real creeper is the man who directed these movies. They're great movies in my opinion but they could've gone with a different director. I'm sure nobody would've complained.

So THIS is what happened to Jeepers Creepers 3. When Jeepers Creepers 1 came out in 2001, it was lighting in a bottle. Everyone loved it. There was excitement for Jeepers Creepers 2. The Internet was getting very big. It wasn't just word of mouth anymore. They were talking about it online. When 2 came out, people liked it, but it wasn't as good as the first one. So then there was talk of Jeepers Creepers 3 and how it was supposed to take place in the future and bring back the surviving sister from 1 to avenge her brother, etc etc. But then something else happened, people started to use the Internet to look into Victor Salva and his past. And then what he did came to light. Child molestation. Prison time. Walt Disney Company's POWDER(1995) I always looked at as Victor's apology and catharsis for what he did. But once that shit started getting around, the interest in a 3rd JEEPERS CREEPERS dropped considerably. So then the studio didn't want to give him a real budget and he got stuck changing the script and it wasn't really good. That truck being "alive" was trash. A lot of the dialogue was trash. The molested daughter story arc could have been left out. To its credit, JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 is LEAPS and BOUNDS better than that JEEPERS CREEPERS REBORN garbage. That never should have seen the light of day. And we thought the budget for 3 was bad, sheesh. So all in all, that's what it was, once people found out Victor was a pedo, his series was a wash. I wouldn't mind BLUMHOUSE or Universal getting the rights to the series and getting a proper reboot or sequel that ignores 3 and 4. You could even have Victor write it if he uses a ghost writer's name and it doesn't suck ass. But he'll never direct again.

I wish companies would stop reboots. Just do sequels, and for reboots, spend more money on the sequel and have it tie into the previous films.

The exact moment this franchise turns to Sh*t is about twenty minutes into the first film. When the sister says maybe we should check to see if they are ok after they drive by a guy dumping bodies into a tube. From that point, its a rapid decline of epic proportions.

I liked all the Jeepers Creepers film the problem is simple so many didn't want Victor Silva they always bring up his past yet some out there don't think what Roman Polanski did was horrible he got a standing ovation at awards show he fled to country and escaped justice in which he can't be sent back and tried or convicted of a crime there no jurisdiction .What Victor did in 1988 is horrible he went to jail for his crime and yet he shouldn't be allowed to work due to his past transgression.Has he recommitted the same crime the answer is simple no because of his past the simple so many still bring it up.A creator of film should be judge based on his work not what he did in his past.

One was a good cleaver movie. The sequel was just a teenage slasher flick but it was very very fun to watch. Everything after that is just a cheap cheap low budget go straight to video movie

What a brain dead idea to have the third movie be a prequal to the second and a sequel to the first.

Sounds like this guy would've gave the finger to The Empire Strikes Back. Part 3 left me wanting MORE. Which should be the ultimate goal of ANY franchise.

JC3 was perfectly competent fine movie, but it just did absolutely nothing to improve on what was an interesting first movie. The second movie kinda gave you more of the creepers backstory, but it falls flat slowly towards the end of that movie all in all I don’t want to see anymore films with the creeper.

It wasnt great. It certainly is better than the remake. The actor playing the creeper in the remake. Was about as threatening as a 2 year old is to a person.

I was extremely disappointed watching the movie when it came out. I feel like they tried to add a lot of stuff that didn’t make sense. I especially didn’t like the fact that all of a sudden his truck is bulletproof and he was able to make bombs that follow you?? Big let down but honestly that reboot one was 100x worse

Geez with your editing, you make JC3 look great. It is an abomination of a movie and one which i personally believe killed one of the greatest horror villians of all time. It is straight up SHIT... WTF is the Creeper doing walking around in the fukn daylight?

Only thing I liked in JC3 was Breck's return as the Creeper.. other than that, I was very underwhelmed. Much much better than the garbage reboot.. but still.

Jeepers Creepers is unfortunately a franchise that gets worse with each installment. None of the following films even come close to the first movie. Jeepers Creepers had so much potential for lore and back story it's a shame that writers and directors never explored the Creepers origin or at least give us a movie set in medieval times or at least the 50s or 60s.

I hate to say it this movie was doing the fell the very moment it turned out that Victor salva was a convicted predator that never should have had control to get this film out in the first place if it was just going to be doomed to fell no matter what Even though if it was put into the right hands of the right people that were to make it into a successful film like it was before that would be one thing but clearly Hollywood ones Victor salva in this movie a race completely because maybe they just feel so bad for his victims that they just don't want nothing to do with his work to the point where they're willing to ruin it That's the only reason why the franchise to me went so downhill
