Look at a film called "1900" starring Robert De Niro, Donald Sutherland, and Burt Lancaster. It includes a scene of two prepubescent boys (aged around 13 or 14 at time of filming) comparing penises - in close-up. One of the boys has an erection. It is shown, close-up, while he masturbates. This is a respected mainstream movie. Nobody was forced to sign a sex-offender's register. What JJ did (allegedly) was art - according to him. I'm not saying he was right. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been convicted. I'm just saying there is certainly more to the story. And even if he was guilty, it would be overly simplistic to right-off his entire character. Everyone has kinks. Everyone has secrets. No one is without "sin". Celebrities are just canon-fodder and easy targets for lazy RU-vid channels.
