-Gameplay changes for casual players based on limited and specific uses in competetive play are a glaring issue. -DPS healers were always a huge pain, now they introduced a "healer" whose main ult is damage effective only. -Nerfing and drastically changing the characters we loved and pretty much left it installed for. Overwatch doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up, but it's 40 and clutching a bottle of cheap whiskey in its bathtub. I miss when it was fun, but I don't have high hopes.
Yeah I had notes that didn’t make the video on how blizzard basically removed a lot of cc from the non tanks away alongside damage buffs to healers. Overwatch always felt more like a really fun part game / casual experience than a balanced e sport title at its best now it’s just fun but not something I want to play for long periods like before Kinda reminds me of the dbd community complaining about swf/op content in a game without a real competitive mode leading to the devs killing meme perks/builds making everyone play the exact same build in the same way
Microsoft taking over so maybe they revive it, moving over to steam for all current + future games and making some quality content outside the games would be a great start ( not like halo show though )
i mean i hope so but just look at the state of halo, fable, banjokazooie, viva pinata, crackdown, or any other microsoft owned property. i'm not optimistic
