This episode bothers me too. I have a break in last October while I was traveling for work. They got feckin' everything except the big stuff. Easily over $20,000 in Star Trek collectibles that I'd accumulated over like 20 years, my electronics, my blue ray collection, everything. Once that happens to you, it's hard to laugh at it.

Someone tried the bump swipe with on me when I was 13 and on vacation. But luckily, I had forgotten my wallet in my hotel room that day. I caught a break.

I think it was Penny who broke into their apartment. She has a key to their apartment and she lives next door to them so it would be easier for her to rob them then anyone else, let alone random burglars who don't have enough connection with Leonard and Sheldon to walk all the way up four flights of stairs and take so many of their stuff from their home, and she could've hid their stuff somewhere in her room where they would never think to look. And she has two motives. One is money. She wasn't getting paid well at the Cheesecake Factory and her acting career was going nowhere so she decided to take their stuff so she can sell them. She probably didn't think about the comic books since she's not smartest person, or she was just in a hurry to get out of there before they come home and just forgot about the comic books. And her second motive is to make Leonard less nerdy so she can connect with him better. And to make sure they don't suspect her, she messes up the place and breaks the lock before she leaves so it looks like a random burglar broke into their home.

One of the best comedy series out there.

Sheldon felt scared and violated.

Why not just go home to Texas?
