In Maharashtra their are numerous forts of chatrapati shivaji maharaj.Governmet should redevelop and maintain them. And promote such historical places like Rajasthan for tourism

yes, i agree, but it is very tough to maintain maratha forts as they are located at higher altitude and are pressent in deccan tropical region, due to which in monsoon, there is a lots of moisture which degrades the structure of the fort. the reason why rajasthani forts are so well maintained is bcoz they are located in desert reion and at lower alitudes. humidity is very less in rajasthan.

Agree on that but Maratha forts were built in regions hard to reach that's how they were able to defend against Mughal Turks unlike Rajput forts which are easy to reach and hence were easily taken!

As a proud HINDU and INDIAN i realy support this project of shree Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue project, it shows out culture , our history , also the respect to Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj who save the hinduism in our country because of them most hindus are not convorted to islam and as a gujrati i can definately say creating this type of historicaly significance statues and places like statue of 'Loh purush' Shree Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who convinced the hundreads of small kindom and unite them into our current Bharat, this statues gives us pride to our selfes and our culture.

We will talk about Reality now, If a Ghora visits India and wants to see any Fort, he would go to Rajasthan and think it’s just built by any other Indian King. If Shivaji Statue is built, People will learn about his valour, courage and Swarajya movement. Napoleon is recognised all over the world as a commander and here Shivaji is considered as God but very few people know about him. If Shivaji statue is developed, places affiliated to him will be developed automatically.

Largest Ganesh Temple in the world must be built in the Mumbai metro region. That will bring massive Ganesh Chaturti tourism from across the world. Mumba Devi Temple also needs to be expanded or have another modern one built. Akshardham Temple in New York metro is drawing huge crowds of people daily. India needs to start getting serious about temple tourism potential. It's a major job creator.

people think these are a waste of money but they pour even more money into the local economy than the amount which was spent on them. If 5000000 people visited Statue of unity, all of them bought tickets, many of them would have done other activities paying even more, they have eaten something there which poured even more money to the local economy, if people drove to the statue of unity, many of them may also have visited some other tourist places around there and at the end not everyone who visited there was from Kevadia or nearby cities many people came from outside paying extra on Railways/Airways and then booking hotels.

I opposed the statue of unity, but the economic rewards of the project like that is evident. This project needs to made, if not Mumbai than at a place like Alibaug or Raigad, and a similar budget needs to be allocated for maintenance of FORTS in Maharashtra

Mumbai me shiv smarak hona chahiye + maharaj ke sare fort ko maintains karke ,maharashtra gov.ko tourism grow karni chahiye. Mumbai me ghumne firne ki jada jagah nhi get way of India, Marin drive,juhu -girgaon chopati,etc isliye mostly Mumbaikar lonavla,karjat, matheran jate hai.

All forts in Maharashtra should be managed by the hotel industry, converting 30% of the forts to hotels for stay, which will attract foreign tourists, and the remaining 70% will be maintained from income generated by tourism - this is the only financially viable and sustainable way out if we want to preserve the grand forts.

I am not saying we don't need statue, there are hundreds of chawls and old building that needs immediate redevelopment. The water logging crisis, potholes etc needs to be repaired.

So I dont see why there should be issue among fishing community.... 😐 (Talking abt Coastal Road and MTHL) Coming to this Shiv Smarak.. I feel it would be waste of money... Better if govt. can revive all our 300+ forts and use them for increasing tourism... In that case developent and revenue generation wont be limited to one specific location but would be spreadout throughout the our state....

BJP will do it after the 2024 October-November Maharashtra Assembly elections. They are waiting for this assembly to end, gain majority in the 2024 MH assembly election and then immediately this project will be revived and completed and inaugrated within the next 5 years before the 2029 MH assembly elections.

well , I think indeed it is hard to start new projects or bring reforms in our country coz of people"s protest whether you take case of bullet train, shiv smarak or social reforms such as CAA, NRC, or recent farmers protest , cause people in our country protest without having proper understanding of mater . i think india copied west for making its democracy but indian people also copied westerners who abuses the power given by democracy to oppose government by protesting and filing cases against such projects, socio - economic reforms which are totally resonable and necessary for growth . If all india unite toward these projects and new rules and regulations i know the cost and time of new projects will decrease . People should try to best in what they do instead of protesting about things which they are not aware of , then only our country can flourish....

Its appaling to see many marathis here opposing the statue of Shiv smarak. The identity of Marathis have been dented by their own people who oppose such projects. History is remembered when you have something history. These statues will be grandeur history in future years and it will serve us reminder who our heroes are. I think Government should be working on this project slowly and steadily. as if the project keeps delaying the cost of project will be increased. so few steps taken every day for this project will help it to compete faster in future when all the issues are resolved. and the cost will be reduced and will generate some employment for the people of Bharat

As being maharastraian I can't deny that there are many projects that Government ignoring in maharashtra.........there are many projects started after Chatrpati projects and Ambedkar projects but are completed before them.....keep aside this projects but there are many Industry which is taken or changed to other satate.........now Some mofo will say Gov building highest and bridge but that don't feed people Or educate nether treat people. There thousand of Government school which are shut down in maharashtra..............because of fund and here Government have fund to build this 🙄

Bro in maharastra there are many activists who will go to court to stop maharastra development. Check about ratnagiri oil refinery project,land acquisition for bullet trains,dharavi development project. Social activists are taking india back wards
