Ayton is definitely not a role player . He helped the suns make the finals , he’s definitely one of the best centers in the league AT TIMES . I’d say top 15 centers for sure which is way outside being a “role player”

luka is already at Jordan level. numbers dont lie, he has been and will continue to be on that level of Jordan for a long time. SGA is a great player but he aint Luka.

@@UnlockedSportsPodcast then explain to my why you believe that? Because Shai puts up VERY similar numbers to Jordan historically. Luka plays nothing like Jordan. Luka is probably just as good as prime Jordan on offense. But there is a MASSIVE gap on defense.

Shai doesn’t bring even close to near the same playmaking as Luca or 3pt shooting. Shai is my fav player in the league but I can admit when someone’s better and Luka is 1000% better currently

@@johnterlesky4843 that’s true but statistically speaking there numbers aren’t that far apart and honestly the coaching scheme for each player is largely different. Believe it or not I don’t think these two players are that far from each other as many thinks but I do see how Luka overall is “slightly” better than Shai. And yeah I’m knowing that’s a hot take too 😂

brother shai is shooting higher FG% then prime MJ, while leading the league in steals and being one of the best on ball defenders, while shooting 90% from the free throw line, while leading his team to the best record in the west. if SGA took as many shots as MJ did in his peak year SGA would be averaging 40+. the crazy thing about SGAs stats is he rarly plays more then 5-6 minutes in the 4th quarter. SGA is shooting a whole 8% better from the field then luka. thats the same difference between luka 48% and jalen green 40%. shai is also shorter then luka so you cant make the excuse WELL HEs A CENTER SO THATs WHY HES SHOOTING BETTER. and before you say WELL LUKA TAKES MORE THREES the 2pt% between both of these guys is 60.3% for shai, and 56.9 for luka. luka is better then shai at 2 things. passing and 3pt shooting, but is he actually better at passing? because the turnover to assist ratio for luka is is 2.3 assist per turnover, while SGA is 3.36 assists per every 1 turnover. so really luka is better at 1 statistic over shai, which is 3pt shooting.
