What Happened to The Batman Who Laughs? (Fortnite x DC Comics Lore) 

Apologies if the editing in this video isn't up to snuff. I wanted to take more time to iron things out, but the news of Epic Games laying off 16% of their workforce made me extremely depressed and straight up made me not want to work on the video anymore.

I wish fortnite would stop introducing characters and then not developing them for months or ever.

13:00 btw there was a Twitter account(protocol) and discord server that was officially linked to DC Comics and Fortnite. the discord server did die after 3-4 months because there was a discourse between Epic and dc which led to it being a different server not related to dc and Fortnite.

If we get a DC themed season the villain would probably be the Anti monitor.

I’d love to see something similar like this with the character overview done with some of the other minor characters across the storyline. More specifically, skins that don’t necessarily have any major lore significance but still have some interesting stuff to say about them. Some names that could come to mind could include: -Drift (and the rest of the fox clan) -Lynx/Meowscles (and the other two cats) -the minor IO characters (Gunnar,Enforcer, Zenith, other) You get the deal. Almost all of these characters have next to no major coverage so it could be nice to cover some of them to spread some appreciation to them.

That was a pretty cool video, but I want to disscuss the potential DC season you're talking about. I don't doubt that DC themed season will happen, because I'm 100% sure that It won't happen. According to the leaked Epic vs apple documents, DC is not even in the top 5 highest earning fortnite collaborations (I'll refer to it as HEFC later on). It was outsold by Marshmello, Travis Scott, NFL, Star wars and Marvel. And that was only the data from june of 2020. Since then we had a lot of new collabs with diffrent movies, games, celeberities and more. So there is a pretty desent chance that DC lovered down even more in the HEFC rating. On top of that add the fact that a lot of the most popular DC characters (such as: Batman, Joker, Superman, Wonder woman, etc) are already in the game and the fact that the recent DCEU movies floped. In conclusion I highly doubt that DC season would make anywhere near as much money as Marvel season did, if DC season would even make money at all. If epic wants to make another full crossover season, they would most likely make a star wars season, Icon series season or an anime season.

I think batman who laughs has already been somehow defeated before ch 3 because if he isn't, then we would be seeing him by now in the storyline. My theroy is that in the next dc x fortnite comic, we might be seeing batman hwo laughs getting defeated before chapter 3. But that is just my theory.

+ about the dc themed season, yea it still a dream but mostly all the major characters from dc have already made it into Fortnite, there arent any big characters left, except maybe villians in my opinion, but dc is vast so never say never

not only wast that 2 years ago, but theyre also reseting the timeline, meaning that anything after season X and some of chapter 1 isnt canon anymore :(
