I'm personally a big fan of the podcast in general, but watching it on youtube is a much more engaging experience imo. Being able to watch the conversation rather than just listen keeps me 100% more engaged. I find if I'm just listening I will start doing other shit and get distracted and not take in the content/value as much. Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it, but would be stoked if you posted full episodes again.

I love the idea. It's hard to find videos on youtube of where concert photographers live their life, and kind of the behind-the-scenes of their job. As an aspiring concert photographer this would help A TON. I think everyone else would also dig the videos, just shows a different type of video that hasn't been done before. The quality now is amazing. I can only imagine the upcoming videos you are dropping.

i, personally, only listen to podcasts on youtube while i edit and like long form so i dont have to constantly worry about the auto play. I have spotify tho so making the switch won't be too hard i suppose.

I appreciate the honesty @onemind - Maybe we will bring it back after running this test. Thought process is if the highlights channel can create the awareness, maybe that will send everyone to audio only platforms via the clips. We'll see how it goes for a few months. It's just a lotttt of work for us to create the video element of the show. Do you think it would still be dope to put them on the highlights channel?

@@BlackWithNoCream That sounds logical and i will support the channel/podcast any way i can regardless. I also like the pivot into actual on set content since it will add much more value to content creators. I'm sure most of us are visual learners. Cutting hours long podcasts sounds miserable so in no way do i blame you. I'm assuming you are putting the highlights up to still attract the people who like the video side which makes total sense, but if your time is so strained that you can only cut 1/4th of the podcast in video form i would just cut the whole video side entirely and do not worry about it. Cleary define your goal with this channel/business and put full mental focus on that. Throw the full length podcast with a picture of you and the guest overlayed on the second channel and im coolin. You have more information/data than me so just test test test but thats my two cents.

Great to see you guys have been scathing new ideas and releasing new materials! Idea to go to the "field" as well as showing bts with directors' comments is awesome! Best way to learn anything is actually to take part in the "thing" you are trying to learn, so definitely, these formats that you guys are planing to introduce should bring so much value to content creators globally! For me, personally, I like the full youtube podcasts much more than audio - because I get distracted much quicker than watching a video. On my opinion, highlights are a great way to get the best moments, but I would be stoked if you would post 10-15 minute videos of the podcast, which contains certain highlights - instead of posting just those short moments. Anyway, just a little something to think about but I appreciate all your efforts and keep on doing great work! :)

I actually prefer to watch podcasts rather than listen to them, but I understand what you guys are trying to accomplish. I really like the podcast but the future content you plan to do on the channel actually excited me more, so I will try to tune in to the highlights page and occasionally listen on Spotify (I get distracted lol)

@@BlackWithNoCream nah bro I would listen on any platform. I was looking for new episodes for a while now. Having it on all platforms is quite convenient. If anything I think the idea of having a highlight channel is pretty nice too. Just keep on keeping on man. Your podcast really keeps me going at times just keep creating man. Love your shit. I hope to be on it one day. Hella motivating👌

I totally understand the thought. You want to create more types of content yet this one thing takes so much time and energy. Truthfully I listen to 90% of my podcasts through Spotify and sometimes through RU-vid. But I do think People enjoy the youtube and I tend to like it when the video podcast has a little editing to it to spice it up, like showcasing what's being talked about. maybe consider hiring someone to just edit the youtube portion of the podcast while you create other work. I'd be down to help on the RU-vid versions

We already have someone hired to edit the podcast but right now we spend a lot of time really dialing in the clips that we release on social to try and attract new listeners to the show. This is good to know bro. Feel free to reach out in a few weeks incase we decide to go up on youtube again. the help is always appreciated!
