I'm probably just an unsophisticated rube, but I am left baffled after watching this. I do appreciate the high quality technical production. Very Ridley Scott. But the actual story arc left me flummoxed.

I watch a lot of sci-fi shorts that just drop off at the ending leaving you wondering .... What was that? Sometimes I get it, but with this one I didn't.

At first he was going to be given a second chance, but instead he got "Terminated." (When he failed the test and the red lights came on, it then wasn't a joke after all.)

I didn’t get that far, I was only dead for four minutes. But I did get to go through the floor above me in the hospital. First thing I noticed, I couldn’t see my hands they were kind of like a faint vapor

This seems like an encapsulation of real life for many people. So much happening that we don't understand, so many questions unanswered. I assume the opening and closing sequences are CGI? The whole thing was extremely well done regardless.
