I was cleaning my Pc and didn't seat one of my RAM sticks properly. Every fans and leds turned on, but i got endless black screen for 3 times, until i finally open the case and find out the problem. Then i had to reset the BIOS settings because xmp wasn't activating and the BIOS screen was flickering. After all, i ran some stress tests and the Pc looks stable... But even though it's working fine now, is there a chance of any damage has occurred to the hardware because of my mistake? I'm so nervous.
Huh, should be fine if its booting. You can use Testmem5 on another windows install to check if your ram is stable. I don't think anything should be damaged, but good practice should be to back up ur stuff just in case :).
Old days mother board. Beep , Beep , Beep... Today's PC mother board are function as designed. No sound, no display. Case study There is an old PC in trash. If U are not an expert, don't have a proper RAM to test the PC, just let it go.
