To me, he was always that "woah" character. He gets blown away by Wrex, and I'm like "woah my squad mates can change the story themselves". Then I'm like "woah, so I need to pick my squad mates for more than just gameplay value?". Then just after the confrontation I was like "woah I actually need to save someone quick!". Then I realised after my first play through that "WOAH this fuck almost got my future wife killed!". A lot of woahs

Just after Wrex shoots Fist, Kaidan shouts "Oh my God" as in "Oh my God, why did you kill him." but his facial expressions were more like "Yeah whatever, I don't give a shit."

Just realized that Fist looks a lot like Captain Bailey. Then he actually sounds a like him in his mannerisms in Mass effect 2. Bailey mentions screwing up raising his son during Thanes loyalty mission... that's my head cannon now. (Been pointed out that Baily mentions his kids live on earth in ME3 so I just forgot that bit fun to consider regardless)

I can never spare Fist because Wrex's always in my party when I go after him.

As if this has happened so many times that he doesn't really remember all the people he's had the option to kill in cold blood or let go. And that he was probably just in a good mood that day if he let him go

Ya would have loved if they included characters that survived on Omega in the Omega DLC in ME3. Meeting Patriarch, Nef's Mother Diana, or Helena Blake. Patriarch could have taken command of some of Aria's remaining forces, Diana and Helena could be doing Triage in the Talon base, and Fist would probably join Cerberus in a heartbeat and maybe become an exclusive mini boss if you sparred him.

I always thought Wrex shooting him was key to his development as a character. He goes from hired (kinda Ruthless) Merc who just wants to make credits to leader of the entire Krogan race!

Man wrex is literally the first person i recruit and he stays in my party all game so fist has always died. This is awesome to know! Ive literally played ME1 at least 10 times through and you still teach me new stuff all the time. Keep up the great work!

He endangered Tali -> cannot be forgiven He is Wrex target -> enjoy true afterlife He fought against Shepard -> pretty much death sentence. I just don't see how he can get past these three checkpoints at once. So I think this is some not used footage that was datamined :-D

Well clearly Dan, you need to make two ME1, ME2, and ME3 playthroughs that are EXACTLY the same, except for killing Fist in one and sparing Fist in the other. Then, compare the positions and numbers of bodies in the Citidel ME3 mission between the two saves and see if there's any differences. Shouldn't take you too long, and it would be a great contribution for science!

That's weird - Fist actually had different dialogue than what I remember in the original ME 2. He can actually show up next to Helena Blake (if you convinced & spared her life in ME 1) - different conversations entirely.

The skeleton is behind a crate next to a datapad. You kill the phantoms at the end of the plaza and jump over a balcony to travel through a vent. It's in there (I think.)

The recordings of the panels are fine. They normally record those onto one channel of audio on a mixer. You can fill the right channel with the audio from the left to make it stereo

I may be tripping balls, but I think I remember seeing a skeleton in one of the back corners during the section with the two Atlas mechs...

Another scenario: Fist tried to infiltrate C-Sec, either to sneak in and erase his criminal record or as a bribe from a Cerberus mole, and got himself killed in the following coup.

I did that with my current character. I also avoided him in Mass Effect 2 until Tali'Zorah was in the party, she said nothing

In my first ever playthrough back in the day, I didn't bring Wrex, so I was surprised when I found out bringing him will give Fist an unavoidable death sentence. Those were the days.

I never found him in ME3. Would be cool he gets Shepherd's help. To become head of a gang and helps you as a war asset

I guess the only way to confirm is to boot up a save where Fist is dead and then go through the citadel mission and see if every body is the same. But honestly...idk about that, kinda just sounds like dev head cannon to me.

I spared him in my first legendary playthrough realizing wrex always kills him so I didn't bring yhis time and I was pleasantly suprised in Me2 when going down to the bar since it's one of my favorite locations in mass effect 2 for the music and atmosphere.

Before the release of ME3 and shortly after that trailer for the N7 Edition. Was a bunch of rumors floating around of who the mysterious new squad mate was. With some climbing that it was gonna be Fist, had the player or Wrex not kill them in ME1. Which I think originated from this old meme template that was full around on DA at the time. That artist will use with to place their predictions of how the final game in the trilogy would pan out.

there is a bug on Legendary edition on xbox one. even if Wrex kills Fist in ME1 in ME2 if you go to the lower section of afterlife you can hear Fist talking (even the subtitles say its Fist) but he's not there. it's like hes a ghost lol.

Cool if he had been given more lines. Since his life seems to have gone down the pooper and he "survived" to "die" in ME3, I think I'll just spare him the horror and let Wrex kill him when he was in his prime.

In lair of the Shadow Broker, you can find some emails between Tali and the Shadow Broker and Tali to arrange the meeting, then the SB send an email to Fist asking him to kill the Quarian. The following mails is Tali saying to the SB that she won't be giving him the evidence in the end, as she gave it to Shepard for saving her from Fist ambush. She also suggests that Fist might be a compromised agent and that the SB should be warry of him, to which the SB agrees and gives his apologies for his agent going rogue like this. Its evident from the exchange that the SB is playing a double game and is bullshitting Tali while giving all the blame to Fist, but I dont understand the timing of it. I would understand if Wrex was paid by the Shadpw Broker AFTER the confrontation with Tali cause Fist botched the job, but Wrex was contracted well before the event, in which time Fist is still a SB agent and in direct communication with him. Am I missing something? I guess Fist couldve done something else that made the SB want to kill him before the whole Tali thing, but it seems weird to me that the SB took a chance that Fist couldve been killed by Wrex before he could carry on with the Tali job. The whole timing of this seems shifty to me

There was funny bug in Mass Effect 2, you can hear him talk if you walk around place where he supposed to be even if he was killed in ME 1 like some sort of a ghost. Maybe this bug still in LE (like all of them lol) didn’t check on my playthrough.

Turns out Fist was the actual conduit.

I can only assume that dev worked and maybe even playtested the part of the game where you meet Fist, and that's why he got attached to him.
