We had the place to ourselves. As we made our way through the marsh this morning, the only lights cutting through the dark were from us. When the sun rose, and the marsh woke, we were the only ones in attendance. I feel very lucky I could share this gift of a day with my wife and great friends. What a hunt!

Do you guys use calls? If so what kind works for you?

I do at times, mallard call at times to get their attention or to keep ducks from landing far off. Also a pintail call can help turn pintails. I have a black belly call which works very well. I also use a widgeon call. Sometimes call in FL work, a lot of the times they don't do much.
