This is a season of firsts for us, and although off-road racing isn't a first for us anymore, the Mint 400 in Las Vegas was. The city pulls out all the stops and really puts on a Vegas-style show in town for the visitors. First on our list was the parade of cars down the Las Vegas strip. They block off a section of Las Vegas Blvd and parade the race cars down the strip. Our friends had been there before and knew exactly where to view the parade. We visited Freemont Street and the Mint 400, then it's off to Pahrump for some more boondocking!
