I have known old men (like the fathers of some ppl) who were horrible ppl their whole lives and now they are like 80 and the same ppl they mistreated their whole life in the worst ways imaginable are taking care of these rotten dudes. Not always but I’ve seen it often and never understood it. But ppl don’t change

I almost didn’t divorce my husband of 31 yrs but he assaulted me Dec 5th. My divorce has been final for 6 days and I’m glad I am finally free. I still feel kinda sad that he’s not going to have anyone to love him like I did but I love myself more.

Yes I’ve observed it with narcissistic men, who were already extr narcissistic with around 50 (when I was a child) but now that they’re around 80 and these men are even worse, while many people thought they would finally “grow up” and develop some type of consciousness but I know some fathers of friends who are even older and like around 1 day away from their final good bye and still scheming and trying to control ppl 🤯it’s scary how irreversiblyevil they are😰

Complete worse I say, is the worst ones ever because they use the old age to disguised their wickedness and society normally feels sorry for the elders, so it’s hard to differentiate truth disability from using the idea is old and disability, as a tactic is hard to identify the difference

@@MentalHealness and remember they use manipulation and gaslighting as one of the tactics so you won’t know the difference of someone manipulating you from the disability of what 0H do it is hard to differentiate it is this person really cannot do this oh really don’t remember doing this or did this on purpose or you know the the disability from old age so you’ll be like is this person in line or they just don’t remember is hard, but they still play mind games even when they’re old and they still manipulative so he is like he’s hard to to identify

@@MentalHealness it’s like they still do manipulative things and then when they confronted David they just deny it or die well they never say I don’t remember they’ll just deny and then they’ll leave you in a position to say to think or juggle. What is this is it they can’t remember or they did. It depends on what is it they did is it something valuable to you that you’re losing or is damaging to you you’ll just be having this ongoing loss or disadvantage because they never change and they never stop so it’s like at the end if you lie separate yourself from them you feel guilty like oh this person is also like I shouldn’t be doing this but then sticking around there damaging to you like song is very hard like you know

Yes this is definitely a reality.. narcissistic people seem to have a tendency of less stress and pushing off accountability onto others as a result of letting everything go Just as they do their life when they are bored and the love bombing stage has ended they start looking for another supply. Soon to be discarded as well. The pattern continues. So yes less accountability because it's always someone else's fault helps you live longer..

@@chargennaro976 yes, truth...my mother is a narcissist high spectrum and she is 85 years old now..always complaining about her age..but more and more anti-social getting older now in old age...I blocked her ...and I have years of no contact with her...sometimes I unblock, answer a question or a call and I block again...she is a nasty character...very passive aggressive

I think they struggle too when their best friends and people that they may actually like pass away. They get lonely.

@@DulcesSweets unfortunately, no she was my older cousin by 10 years and I looked up to her, because, she was bubbly, beautiful, fun, everybody liked her. And she was extremely popular and pretty. I wanted to be like her!!! I remember when she made her vows to be a Nun. There was not a dry eye in the room (all sad) and people commented why such a people person, with such a vibrant personality, was choosing a vocation to be locked away praying 🙏 all day. I cried my heart out for weeks and months. The contract she signed also said after training she would only be allowed family contact after 7 years. After she fled I asked her why she became a Nun in the first place. She replied " I wanted to make the world a better place. But instead of actually doing anything to help people. There was no action, with just being trapped with a load of bitter women praying all day. There was a nightclub across the road with people my age going in. And it would make me cry and wish t could be like them". Anyway, sadly, after no family support. She took to alcohol and died at 42. Sadly her sister who was 5 years younger, and was supportive of her. And the other female scapegoat of the Mother. Also hated. Although rebellious in nature and more savvy. She died then of alcohol Issues at 43. I was really fond of my cousins. They were very genuine. My Mother was their Mother's sister. My mother had me unplanned, as she was 48. I heard the rumours of them she didn't want me from them and I could tell she hated me. They said she she hand me straight over to my Father, and said I was his problem when I was a baby. When I became 40, I was exposed to, and saw on my birth Certificate, and it was filled in by my illiterate Father, and it was obvious. She was ABSENT. My Father was a Godsend, a lovely man, but died when was quite young. She died 2 years ago at 90. I pulled her up on the birth certificate. She just said "oh shit you wasn't supposed to find out about that" and sounded smug. I replied "yeah. There's a lot of stuff you get up to I am not supposed to find out about" This was during a phonecall where she demanded I see her for Xmas Holiday I owed her as she,was my Mother. I let her rant and hit her that she wasn't my Mother on a legal document. I owe her nothing. There seems to be this horrible cycle. A generational trait on the Mother's side where there's always a female scapegoat. And they always the nicest and they then die after alcohol abuse. I hardly drink, am not in any contact and the lone scapegoat survivor of that family

Yes he does but he's in denial because he thinks he's important to the AA people! In his eyes they adore him but inside he's in denial about his own shortcomings by using them as supply!

sure ain't!!!! dude hadn't even turned 44 and was complaining about "almost being 50!" and "getting old" and pestering me about telling him my age which i'm glad i never did!! didn't matter! when he flipped, all he would say and text is "you're too old...you're too old" BECAUSE HE felt "too old" at 44! PEACE!!!

My NPD husband and I had three kids, and we now we have three grandchildren, so far. He never changed a diaper, fed them, gave them a bath, but he did and does hold them for photo ops and around his friends (well he doesn’t have any left now) and family to look like he’s a “loving dad or grandpa.”

I agree, God gives a lot of people chances to come to him and ask for forgiveness of there sins and believe that God gave his only begotten son. God is great and I pray that anyone that reads this messages ask the lord into their heart and asks forgiveness and believe he gave his only begotten son to die and she'd his blood on the cross then died and was buried and rose from the dead 3 days later. I didn't know what narcissism truly was until I started googling what could be happening in our relationship. I googled it which lead me to your videos about narcissists. I used to watch them when I could secretly with my airpods . I learned a lot about it, realized I was in a very bad predicament and in possible danger. I developed a plan and left! Left in silence, moved 4 states away back home near friends and family and now divorced. What is it you say thriving and surviving! Thank you so much Lee! You can’t help them unless they are actually wanting to change and be better and get help. You wanting to constantly help them is part of the abuse and trauma bond. If you can’t go no contact low contact is an option and grey rock but it will always be a constant mental battle by you trying not to say the wrong thing to them and that’s just exhausting
