@@yalelop428 I went from eating total junk to very healthy food, it's not AS expensive as I thought, but I do think it's a bit more expensive than eating junk. then again I liked to eat expensive junk and because it was addictive i ate more of it which meant I ended up spending more anyway !!!
In the long run eating crap will cost more with a heart bypass surgery. Here's an idea for people....I put chia seeds on ice cream....makes it healthier and adds a crunch.
I make chia seed pudding almost every day in a pint mason jar I add 4 tablespoons of chia fill up 3/4 of the jar with milk or other of your choice and I add a little monk fruit sweetener and add blueberries and raspberries stir and let sit in the fridge a few hours or over night so yummy 😋
@@tashagotit7747 I regularly sprinkle flaxseeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds on things! Creatine, a vegan protein powder, BCAA, pine nuts, and all types of nuts too. all very good for you
I add chia seeds to meatballs, meatloaf, soups, casseroles, breadcrumb mixtures, and just about everything really. My family members are not fans of healthy eating so I hide some added nutrition wherever I can. I grind up zucchini in my food processor and slip that in everything I can. It doesn’t change the flavor of anything but adds some veggie nutrition. Adding chia seeds also helps to absorb the extra liquid from the zucchini, especially in meatloaf, meatballs, Salisbury steak, etc. Sometimes you just have to be a little bit sneaky to get some good nutrients into otherwise not so nutritious foods. If they can’t taste it and can’t see it, they don’t know it’s there. There are challenges to being a mother.
I'm having so many digestive issues. I have reflux disease IBS and a few others I'm not on meds for. I'm also diabetic and had heard these help regulate blood sugar. I'm lactose intolerant and have gluten issues. What in your opinion should I do? I risk further upset but I'm willing to try. Where do you get your seeds?
@@shellyhudson1631 I'm like you same situation type 1 diabetes but these days I have severe constipation I'm worried in case I have something dangerous in my colon
@@MsNan00 yes you are getting dehydrated baby. I've been through it so many times. I take myralax a few times a week to help and drink all I can. Someday I don't feel like drinking though. Diabetes makes you have the sweats so often
Jesus Christ is the only one in Heaven right now who is seating on His throne filled with scars. Those scars are proof of how much He loves you. Those scars are his wounds from dying on the cross for you. His holes in His hands is proof that He won’t let go of you. He risen from the dead. The first to ever rise from the grave. He is the everlasting God. And this God loves you. Call on His name today. Without Him no one can ever experience love. No humanly love can ever compare to this fatherly love. He has greater things for you. Just call on your saviors, best friend, protectors name. He’s sees you because He made you and died to know you even more.
If Jesus is god his scars would have healed if he was god he wouldn’t have died cause god is immortal he did not know the hour so he is not all knowing, you say he is god in human form but has limitations he put on him self is contradictory because god in unlimited and if he made himself limited he is no longer god because god is not limited and if he mmade himself limited how can he make hilself unlimited again that’s illogical and confusing and god would not have something like that so confusing for his followers to understand
Oh gosh!!! This is 2024. Everybody can google search the fact that Christianity was forced upon millions of people. Believe or die. If it was so “good”, why the need to force-feed it?
I'm 77 with all of the accompanying pains. I've been using 2 and one half Tablespoons daily in a smoothie for a little over a week. This has finally solved a problem for me created by the Norco that I need for pain. Glad to find your video. You provided me with several helpful ideas. Thank you.
I add a tablespoon of chia seeds to 1/2 cup of oats, just over 1/2 cup of milk and a tablespoon of either peanut butter or yoghurt for creaminess. I let that soak overnight in the fridge, for a healthy start to my day. If its yoghurt, then I add cinnamon and honey just before consuming, else I just add honey.
Overnight soaked peanut + oat + chia seeds + pure dark chocolate + banana + UHT full cream milk + honey. This is my highly nutritious breakfast since I was in final stage of cancer and I still strong in this three years of 24th chemotherapy treatments. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🔥
I just got told by my mom and sister I look healthier and the only thing I added to my diet was chia seeds I haven’t really changed my eating habits just yet but it’s nice to know they think I look healthier and I can def attribute that to my daily chia seed and lime water I’ve been drinking! It’s only been a week at that..
Yeah in Mexico my family does limeade with chia seeds. It’s a common drink back home. It’s good. You can add to any of the “aguas frescas” meaning fruit waters. Another is watermelon water and chia seed.
1/4 - 1/2 cup (depending on desired thickness) chia soaked overnight in 2 cups coconut cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla...yummy on it's own but I also like adding blueberries and chopped nuts to this for breakfast...so yummy 😋 it will last up to a week in the fridge
I have been using chia seeds in my water bottle with fresh mint fresh ginger and slice of lemon and it’s like a boost of energy every time I am never out of chia seeds in my house thank you for sharing
I added a chia water drink to my nightly drinks is Ramadan to avoid dehydration and muscle cramps. (I add some frozen berries or honey for taste.) 🌙👍🏻☪️
I started by adding them to my oats. I was able to reduce the quantity of oats by adding Chia seeds which really gave me so much added energy for my evening walks. My diabetes is reversed and I believe Chia seeds helped me have the energy to exercise and the fibre added glucose to my cells when I needed them. I can add a lot more but one I must mention is the help it gave me for my diverticulosis. A great food. So versatile and really a great food.
@@rubenwrld4958 i would buy them separately, because I don't think you can get them combined. Plus they might only pit a little bit instead of like half a tablespoon to a tablespoon.
I add chia seeds to my lemonade and cucumber juice. You can also make a pudding with it, such as milk or nut milk, tablespoons of chia, and mango or other fruit. Since it is a lot of chia seeds, you can use less or simply split the dessert (or filling breakfast food) in half. because you put this in the fridge overnight, the chia seeds soften.
Add sesame seeds to your use along with pumpkin, flax, and chea seeds all in equal proportions, you will get a mixture containing equal amounts of omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids...the ideal requirement.
Ooo we eat exactly same seeds every morning 😳 I soak them overnight in Almond milk, add honey and a piece of dark chocolate after warming all up in the Morning. 🙌🏽
I put chia every morning in my coffee. I love it. I have begin adding ground flax too. It staves off hunger and it’s wonderful in my black coffee with MCT.
I eat everyday chia seeds and flaxseed ,my face help really clear .i got some pimples and redness,my face is very sensitive but since i eat evety these 2 kinds of seeds i really love the result.
I grind up flaxseeds in my small coffee grinder and refrigerate. I then use them, about two Tbls, in my smoothie each day. I believe chia seeds may have nutrients more available if ground first.
Chia seeds are a lifesaver for my gut health! Their soluble fiber content promotes a healthy gut microbiome, which is essential for digestion and overall well-being. Since incorporating them into my diet, I've noticed a significant improvement in my digestion and regularity. Definitely worth the hype!
I had been adding chia seeds to my morning smoothie. I switched to eggs for breakfast and haven't been getting any chia seeds. Now I need to rethink what I'm doing. The eggs cooked in butter have been very filling, but I need fiber.
I had to stop eating chia because it makes my blood very thin. So it’s not for everybody healthy! My dokter said it could have killed me 😔 So just make sure that’s ok for you
@@mercycanoy7182 just a regular one. In the Netherlands we call the disease Trombopenie , apparently I had it all my life, but chia caused more problems. I stop eating it, and now I don’t need medication 🤗

Moderation is the key! All foods have their own pros (if taken in moderation) and cons (if not taken in moderation) ! Even Apple taken in large quantity, can cause One's teeth to degrade! Thanks for watching! 😇 🙂
Make sure you drink a lot of water. I noticed I was getting more constipated after having 1-2 Tbsp. of chia seeds each day. I read an article where they recommend hydrating them overnight and then adding them to your meals. Some people mentioned that unless they drank more water than usual they become constipated since the chia seeds would absorb the water in their system. Each person is different though.
I feel the same...even i drink a lot of water and i just add 1 tbspn.on my oatmeal i was constipated thats why i stop and i notice i gain weight and more craving for food when i stop putting chia seed on my oats 😞
@@rosalyndacca2191 I should say I was still having movements, it was my stool was really hard (which in turn led to blood in stool). I haven't had chia seeds in over a week and going to slowly introduce them back.

A friend of mine had to have surgery after eating chia seeds everyday. They didn't pass thru her system, the seeds continued to absorb moisture from her body, swelling the intestines. She wound up having agonizing abdominal pain which increased until it became unbearable. I will not eat these seeds just because they are a trend. As time goes by we will be hearing more and more reports of chia seeds causing bowel obstructions

Foods that make me constipated? Well, since changeing my diet last year-ice cream, cream, milk, meat of all kinds and excessive grains. My gut is much happier on fish, fruits vegetables and no more than 4 servings of pasta or bread a week.
Do you feel your body got more sensitive to problem foods the less you have them? I'm just curious because for me it has. 'Cheat meals' are just not possible, it's a bit of a fighting point with my family since I refuse to eat like them. Luckily I don't ever crave those food either and they taste rather bland to me.
@@esmee6308 I haven't thought about if my body got more sensitive to them the less I had them, but I do notice a difference in m body when I do have them. I sometimes have half a serving of the foods I listed that seemed to upset my stomach and digestive system and for the next 2-3 days, everything is off, I'm much more lethargic and my concentration is not so great. I have gotten really good at controlling my sugars as well and when I go off with that, especially when I have massive chocolate cravings, my body and mind are so out of sync that I find myself stuck on water and coffee constantly just to try to reset.

@@tylerspivey9639 Exactly. Though I will say if you completely cut out certain things for a long period of time, it may not be worth the icky feeling after suddenly adding them back on a cheat day. A substitute may be a better option.
I love chia seeds on my pudding, smoothies, oatmeal, pancake. I can go on and on. No doubt that it does reduce belly fat, because you don't store food hard to digest. But drinking a lot of water is the key. EAT HEALTHY. 👏😋
I want to start using chia seeds in my smoothies ( 3 table spoons ) that are made with an electric blender... I'm concern & apprehensive that if I just add chia seed, turn on blender for 20 secs, then drink it down ( 32 oz ) the chia will later expand in my stomach causing havoc... I could always put 9 table spoons worth of chia in jar with water & leave it over night in refrigerator then use it in morning & also ar noon or later in dad... How much chia seeds do you add to your: Oatmeal Smoothies Please advise... Thank you...
One tbsp, or a bit more, to half a cup of any milk or other liquid is perfectly fine. Why overdo it? Easy does it. Don't do something that might lead to unpleasant, unintended consequences, okay?
Wow, this video is packed with useful information! I never knew chia seeds had so many health benefits, from improving digestion to reducing stress. Definitely adding them to my daily diet!
I've been adding 3 heaping tablespoons of Chia seeds in my oatmeal for a couple months now. I was killin it b4 but I feel even better now that I include them daily
I noticed they helped tremendously for 8 months, now I just have diarrhea every morning and I’m completely exhausted, I have lupus however. I still recommend chia seeds, my labs were actually normal for first time in over 20 years

Just adding chia seeds to a bad food choice does not magically increase its health benefits. Changing your diet first and then tweaking it with “superfoods” would be a more effective strategy.
