@@orrikolaxus probably still SL. They’ve been in the chair game a lot longer and provide a really high quality product. Razer chair isn’t bad but SL just has more options. I like the soft chairs over leather personally.
Wow! This video is WAY too detailed and well edited to have only 800 views! Your content is amazing! Also never thought razer would make a chair... I guess it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
I just ordered this chair yesterday & I've heard a lot of positive & negative reviews online. This review made me feel confident in my purchase & I know I won't have buyer's remorse. Thank you, your was very well detailed & to the point. P.s. for those interested, Amazon has 1 more chair in stock currently. I bought mine when they had 3 left.
I just bought the black version on Amazon. I am a huge Razor fan and I am really looking forward to adding this piece to my collection. One of the biggest reasons for my interest was the lumbar support. I am on my computer for school, work, gaming, etc and the chair I have now by Respawn worked for about 3 months and I have been stuck with it for a year. Thanks for the video, it helped me in my decision to buy. I chose Amazon only because Razor takes longer to deliver and they do not send updates on shipping info and would cost more. UPDATE: I am so happy I bought this chair! If something were to happen, I would buy again. Yes, this chair is worth every penny! I have back problems and I spend a lot of time in front of the PC for work, school, gaming and this chair has really made a difference at the end of the day! I also have circulation concerns and am not sure how but this has helped with that as well. Great job Razor!!!!
I really want this chair. Razer did such an amazing rob, designing a really well built gaming chair, that didn't follow the same boring shape and feel of every other gaming chair.
in my country, you can now buy the razer in sale for 280€ (normally around 350 to 420€), while the secretlabs titan evo 2022 costs around 500 to 600€. I took the iskur as a fabric option an love it!
Obviously the chair does look like the Secretlab Omega/Titan chairs, but with the huge caveat that the lumbar support on this chair appears to substantially set it apart from Secretlab's offerings.
great review. Look forward to the 3 months use review for this chair. As much as I love my Secret Lab Omega chair, the PU leather have started peeling after a year of use...
Thank you for your videos and thank you for this one in particular because the angle at which you can recline is a personal selling point. This video made it clear to go for the other option.
Nice video! I really wanted this chair but was sold out everywhere at the time when I was in the market. Ended up get another chair on sale! Thank you for the content!🤓
One thing to advise - Razer support has very little information on this chair including key details on their own return policy, which technically uses their generic Razer Store policy. They seem unable to clarify what 'original condition' means as it relates to the likely slight damage when removing the cylinder for disassembly (which their own instructions say requires lubricant, mallets, and a pipe-wrench). So just be aware... They also don't know the functions of the huge knob under the mechanism, or provide any recommended uses or basics on it. So in other words - purchase with caution since you're on your own with Razer on this new product.
Soon boys! Razer Chroma Toaster, I feel it coming. Imagine, somebody using the toaster and you have chroma set to sync with games while you're gaming. Immersion.
Is the 6'2" rating based on torso length or leg length? I'm 6'2" but have a long torso and i've always had trouble riding in cars without having my hair/head against the ceiling
Thank you for reviewing this, just by the pictures alone it really looks weird. By any chance you can review Cougar's Argo ergonomic chair? I'm saving for that.
Here in Canada, the Secret Lab Omega cost me around $530. The Razer Iskur is $650! I choked when I saw it was more expensive than mine, but it looks like the quality is there for the price.
I would prioritize upgrading your set up. If you don't have your PC or monitor etc where you want it it's hard to justify dropping $500 on a chair. I think some of them like this chair included can be worth it. It's a similar concept to a good mattress if you spend 8+ hours in it a day it's worth the investment. I think though they also kind of became a status symbol of sorts for streamers and the like.
Does the back rest have the tiniest bit of give when you sit back into it, or lean forward? not sure if its supposed to do it, or mine is broken? would love someone else to check theirs! Thanks
i wish they added a larger option for people like me who is 6'6", i'm not really sure how much of a difference it'll make but it seems like most chairs are for people 6'2" and below and i want a chair made for my height with this kind of support.
Hello! Might you, please, tell me the measures of the chair? I could not find any information about the measures of this chair. If anyone knows any link, I also appreciate it.
@Brainbean do you think I should sell my Steelcase Leap V2 for the Iskur. At first when I heard Razer chair I was thinking it would be ridiculous but after seeing it, I think it might be perfect for me. I hate racing style chairs but they did well here as far as aesthetics and from what I can see ergonomics.
I would hold off for a little. I'm working on the biggest chair round up for the year looking at early Nov release where I am going to be comparing pretty much all the big players on the space. I don't have them all in yet so I can't make a for sure recommendation.
@@TsunamicBug To be 100% honest, I love the back of the chair but the seat is a little thin for mah cheeks. Not to mention it doesn't come up high enough for when I want to relax and kick back.
I wonder how does the seat front edge compares to the SecretLab's. I've ended up selling away a Titan chair of theirs after a week due to how the seat was profiled in an counter-ergonomic way, with an incline up towards the front edge. The edge was sharp, combined with a firm foam, it did cut in the back my thighs quite badly :/ I didn't mind the foam firmness on its own, the seat's inclined up front edge though, seriously wtf?
amzn.to/3iPGGll They're 3D art decoration tiles. They kind of work like diffusers but mostly for decoration. I like them because the 3d panels catch lights really well.
What do larger/taller gamers say about this chair? I am 6'4 with my shoes on and 220/225 pounds and most chairs I have to buy are of course Big & Tall which often are $200 max and pretty much to wide for me and armrest are a stretch. One this I think that ads to discomfort is how far the seat supports the back of my legs. Thanks for the thorough review which brought me most of my questions answered less how far the seat adjust to support my long legs. Super Thanks
@@InfamyOrDeath-__- Thanks Man I appreciate your info there. I am going to look if the guy who made the video has an affiliate link. Later and Super Thanks
More than likely they just copied the guys who do it best, there’s too much differences between them, the only thing that’s the same is the armrests, the base it totally different.
My opinion it´s a better chair comparing all the gaming chairs i have tried, but not the price worth when you can get alot better office chairs for better pricing.
it could have been perfect if they offered a fabric option personally I can't stand pleather it gets so damn hot no matter how comfortable the sit is you're constantly going to be readjusting trying to mitigate swamp ass
As much as I despise razer and basically every single product they have ever made, i have to give them credit, this is the only "gaming chair" that isnt OEM and re-branded that I have really seen.
Benimaru shinmon chill man 😂 I was just saying that no rgb is a little bit out of razers character cuz thats what they’re products are usually bought for. Cuz 500 dollars is a lot of money for a chair. And u go karen bitch mode on me 😂
Let me guess the chair cost like $1,000 it's a razer yet again I only buy razer items my pockets crying my birthday was yesterday which was 3 hours ago just gave me a razor mouse also months ago I got razor wolverine controller and a cracking kitty black headset
My number one concern for chairs is durability and load capacity. Can it take a bulky heavy guy without quickly breaking over time? My brother avoids these kinds of chairs because they can't endure his weight for years of usage before losing a wheel or the adjustable height pillar losing to the weight pressed on it during daily use.
I got this chair and it feels like crap, It is not comfortable and the sides of the chair force your leg and a straight position. If you absolutely have to get this chair get the larger one but the soft fabric not leather. Otherwise just go with secret lab.
