Tiny black holes evaporate so fast we need computers to even know they were there at all. Black holes suck things in, but they need a little stability first. There's a minimum mass needed for a singularity not to decay before it begins eating everything. There's absolutely no way at all humans (or machines) could create a singularity that can eat things. You need stellar mass for that. You need a collapsing star.

Not at all true. Blackholes do not break Spacetime. We know that the role that Space & Time play, are flipped beyond the Event Horizon. So rather than Spacetime becoming "broken" it instead becomes Timespace. All the information of everything that breaches the Event Horizon of a Blackhole becomes preserved; "smeared" out across the surface of the Blackhole. If an observer, safely orbiting a Blackhole, saw someone reaching The Event Horizon; what they would see take place is NOT the same as what the person at The Event Horizon would see take place. Worldlines for each observer would not agree. There would be a discrepancy upon unfolding events concerning The Event Horizon, depending on each observer's motion. We can see this with a Penrose Diagram that includes the Event Horizon of a Blackhole. Its truely fascinating stuff! PBS Spacetime teaches it here on youtube. Watch their videos. Gabe talks fast, but lays it down nice. Matt, talks slower & also lays it out beautifully.

They evaporate anyways, we’re so far from even dreaming of having the power to generate a black hole that can kill us. If we had such power we would first use it for something else. Not even the full power of the our sun used all at once can generate a viable black hole. The black holes generated at CERN are so minuscule that evaporate so quickly that are so hard to study. Even in the case where one of those black holes survived for a longer period of time, it would take millions of years of constantly absorbing matter in order to become a threat, assuming that someone would be willing to constantly feed it matter, they don’t wander around feeding themselves. When there’s nothing to absorb they eventually die out. Edit: the power of our sun, given the technology, could actually create a black hole and even swallow earth but wouldn’t be able to survive long, it would lose more mass than it can absorb, it wouldn’t even reach other planets. It wouldn’t really be viable in our solar system.

The back hole would collapse in on itself before it even gets anywhere near being able to consume anything. The amount of gravity needed to even keep the smallest of black holes from just evaporating is astronomical. If we had that kind of gravity altering technology available we would be using it for other things rather than creating a black hole that could destroy everything we worked for. Hell, we don't even know what gravity fully is, only the effect it has on other objects around it.

I don't buy the dogmatic assertion that a black hole singularity density is infinite. A point is a mathematical concept. Not real just like "infinity" another mathematical concept for saying incalculable. Ex. grains of sand on all oceans of Earth? Even though we know is a finite closed system we recur to the term "infinite" for description because of its calculation problem. So in the case of a black hole its highest density would be computable at planck length size or 10 ^ -35 M . Imagine a tiny sphere with a diameter of a planck length then calculate its volume. Then divide the measured mass of the black hole by that volume and "voila" you got the maximum density of a black hole singularity at quantum planck scale. It's a large number but NOT infinite! The fact that black holes keep growing in mass is a dead give away matter remains localized in this universe; even though in an unaccessible region by the outside observer. Once they stop growing or feeding matter they evaporate through the Hawkins radiation phenomena. What are they made you may ask? I bet you is a sphere of strangelet quarks also known as "strange matter".

The Higgs particle, iirc, is settled among a universal Higgs field which aligns with gravity and time and sits at a certain, low-energy level. Theories propose an even lower level that the Higgs field only needs a small push to fall to, which would create a chain reaction among the Higgs field that would essentially be a bubble of nothingness expanding outward at the speed of light. This would only be a local breakage though and could happen so far away that it will literally never reach us

What about localized rifts on Earth? Ever lost something in front of your own eyes and although you search for many hours, even going to lengths of removing everything from the room and searching further times to find it, but to no avail.? Only at a later time, perhaps weeks or years later on. By some unseen power or force the thing that was lost reappears in the exact same spot as it first vanished. I've experienced this and I can say it is very eerie indeed. During the lost and found time gap objects and furniture, perhaps even decorations in this room have been changed with the passing of time and yet that lost item will appear at the point it fell from a table or shelf that is no longer there. I expect that many have experienced this phenomenon, but brush it off as just one of those crazy mishaps. To me this is proof that there are unseen rifts that can capture and transport a small falling object at some point as it accelerates toward the ground, only to spit it back into our reality at a random time in the future.

How do we know that black holes don't destroy energy and matter? We claim it can't be created or destroyed but we also have laws of gravity that break down and don't make sense in certain situations. I think humans state things "matter of factly" way too much when it's impossible to truly know without physically testing these things.
@zazenora7225
@zazenora7225 4 года назад
All objective knowledge is constructed with trial and error, and no matter how "matter of factly" something truly is, there will always remain even the tiniest hint of "subject to change...ly". We can only assume something is true based on our current knowledge, evidence, findings, and facts. There comes a point when some fact can be repeated over and over by enough people that the concensus rests as the objective fact. We build our collective scientific knowledge following these procedures, and is how we have certain "laws" that help explain the workings of the world around us. While we have yet to actually tie all of these laws together, or have actually figured out the origins to some of these forces, we use what works. Astrophysics tries to tell the story of our universe using currently understood laws in the same way. While there is currently no way to "physically test" a lot of things in space, we can still observe what is happening, record multitudes of data, as well as record them on many various wavelengths from which our own eyes can't even see. Just as stated earlier, when enough evidence comes in to suggest that a certain process or data set is recurring in a pattern, or repeatable, that is how we establish certain truths and facts. No real scientist can claim they truly know what's going on out there, the best we can hope for is to continue collecting as much information as possible and make meaning out of it the best they know how to do. The cool thing is, with each new discover begs even more new questions. There'll be no shortage of scientists needed in the future regarding these topics.

Just going to say this once... Considering we have already proven that Hydrogen and anti-matter hydrogen emit the EXACT same light absorption and emission spectrum profiles.... how are we NOT CERTAIN that ANYTHING we measure in the known Universe is not indeed anti-matter? I would not be surprised in the slightest if "half" of the universe would negate the rest if given the chance, however doesn't due to the "space' involved.

Universe sandbox 2 proves it wouldnt happen like that if 2 black holes the same mass got near each other they would be in a constant spiral due to orbiting eachother and if one is more massive than the other it will swallow it and get a little bigger

Time travel into the past is impossible because there is no such thing as an instant of time. Every particle in the universe is running at its own clock. So, there is no "dt" of time, rather, all time must be seen as "delta t." And even if every particle's clock were running at the same rate, then all time would stop.

We have to agree not to make major changes as to not break the space time continuum possibly altering the future in ways we could never imagine We cannot change histories, we have to learn histories We need to figure out the rules of time travel and how time works. Avoid paradoxes at all costs What are the basic rules of time travel? What are the consequences of time travel?

If nothing can escape a black hole including light then how are they able to emit radiation? Far as I know radiation can be protons, electrons, neutrons, and photons. So if photons aka light cant escape how and what radiation do they emit?

Time doesn't work slower in gravity, objects and stuff moves slower since they have to face a force compared to none in space. Gravity accelerates the objects "downwards" but the object in itself encounters a force that makes the atoms and molecules within the object move slower, but time itself does not stop or something weird happens. If a black hole would modify space time, by absorbing it, you would see that everything there would fade.into there and there would be a nothing there or all Universe would get squeezed into that singularity then dissapear. But that is impossible, because hte void of space is nothing, and no force can bend nothingness into something smaller than nothingness. Niothingness is nothing and can only be modified by adding something, bot by taking.
