Actually, Vampiric Touch's text says you make a melee magic attack, not that you add necrotic damage when you hit. Since it's not a weapon or unarmed strike, you can't use vampiric strike and use multiattack or use your bonus action to attack, and even if you could vampiric touch wouldn't apply to those attacks. Also, even if Life Transferance is no concentration, because it deals damage to yourself it can still break your concentration for vampiric touch. Crusher's forced movement only works once for turn.
Yeah. Sounds like this build would require heavy houseruling to make it function. Not that that's unexpected when it comes to trying to make Monks viable...
You make great points! I did try to make a strong emphasis on talking to your DM about the build, and the whole basis of the necrotic damage extending is based on a technicality in the flavor description of the spell, However you did catch me in both the life transference and the crusher’s forced movement, thank you for pointing those out!
Ayyy this is so much fun!! Personally I have no clue about dnd builds or any of that technical stuff, but boy am I happy when I can do something STRANGE
also this build with at least the 3 levels into way of long death would acutally be pretty neeto as while you lose out on the shadow monk movement, you get the benefit of more healing on each kill so going 3 levels into monk for the way of long death first passive, and than just hard leveling grave cleric to level 5 brining you to level 8 before than leveling up everything else into way of long death leading to at level 16 admitedly, you can have it so you can LITERALLY not be killed until you run out of ki points let alone all the damage vampiric touch and touch of death would be healing you......... hell you could get the vampiric touch part online even faster by just going your first level into monk and than hard leveling the 5 into grave cleric which also will get you your first feat which should be either war caster for advantage on consitution saves or if i remember right, hardy which gives your constitution saves proficency with by the time you hit level 9, you can be guaranteed, your consitution wont be breaking any time soon ESPECIALLY if you find an item that would set your con to like 19 or 20 where than, that shit will never be broken meaning each vampiric touch cast gives you the full 10 turns of usage with again, as you level way of long death monk, you will only get more ridiculous until you hit monk level 11 for that mastery of death ON TOP OF the hour of death and touch of death as well as vampiric touch and if you choose to go down the route of halfling mark of healing, you also will get the full sweet of healing spells on tap letting you choose a shit ton of either thematic spells and debuff spells and shit OR you could go as a half orc for the relentless passive to already give you 1 death save which also if you really wanted, you could even take one singular level of shadow sorc for its strength of the grave passive and the nice 4 cantrips and even start as it for constitution save proficency......
... was thinkin long death mix myself. throw in a few half feat spells for support and round 2 hit for 40d10 plus bonus action. think can. double again on elemental bane. already get bane soo.. variant human using dragonmark for mind sliver and barbs to force through the hit, basically a surrender or get dusted.. yea ok you coud thanos snap em. bugbear, grung, simic, and hexblood would all be sweet. tortle if want higher con. hazodee for versatility built in. guess orc or goliath with relentless would be good too.. plus can craft and use scrolls on a few good spells.. like goodberries.

Thank you! That's a great point, this definitely isn't a perfect build by any means I know I missed quite a few details, but I'm glad that a lot of people are enjoying the concept anyways and adding inputs to help me flesh out this idea, it's awesome :)

I was so about to make a every time we touch.. and everytime we kiss joke! The Drawfee influence is really showing XD I love this drawing so much! Again I'm aware that I'm a slow artist but drawing three beautifully rendered fur covered characters in fun poses and with so many pretty details in seven hours sounds unreal to me! I love how the drawing turned out (definitely not also because cats XD). Although understanding specific dnd builts isn't my strong suit, especially when it's in a relatively short time.. Well the first thing I did this morning was telling my girlfriend about this hilarious (in a good way) dnd built XD I really can't wait to play some dnd again. We love so weird fae soup! Getting some cool characters slapped in my faves makes me really excited to see where my "dnd journey" is going to lead me XD Listening to you explaining the build is very fun and I'll definitely listen to it again! Plus I have to look at this beautiful piece more hehe I'd love to hear about the other characters as well. The subtle colour coordination is so pretty and I'm obsessed with he way you drew their accessories! I'm sorry for this comment I feel like I there isn't a lot of coherence in it but I my defense.. It’s definitely not a perfect build by any means, I’m realizing I made a couple overambitious statements but hey anything is possible with a DM that is willing to try something new hehe. I am so excited to be hearing about other people’s D&D adventures and characters, it’s truly one of my favorite things!!! Also THANK YOU FOR NOTICING THE ACCESSORIES! I love all of them so much, putting the energy into the little details really made me happy and fall in love with this drawing! (Also please I am rarely ever coherent, and the Drawfee influence is SO real)
@@LadySplitChin "Ther perfect build" feels probably really cool to play but just trying some tout and having fun with it would definitely be my top priority. So yeah with a DM who also see it in similar way I think getting a little creative is great! Oh and be sure I'll talk about my future dnd adventures c: If only my friends would live all in one place haha Noticing pretty little details is probably one of my favorite thing to do! Not only can you see that the artist really but some extra work in there it also makes a drawing so much more interesting. I don't always get the chance to include details like that. For some reason I seem to create fantasy characters with practical outfits (even tho they aren't really practical) XD Also I'm always so happy to find a Drawfee (or other content creators I also know) reference in your videos. But since the necrotic spell need an action, you wont get another attack action right? So its only 5d6 dmg and not 6d6. Spell plus Flurry (since Action(Spell) takes both attacks away. And that means the modifier is also only 10. So 5d6 (around 16 averange) +10 eqils 26 dmg. For Blasting everything at lvl11... not exactly that impressive. My Sorlocks Magic Missile Barrage for example dealt over 200 at lvl11. (But to be fair i rolled very well.) The Activation on every attack also doesnt work at all. It is very clearly stated in the Spell description that you can touch him on consequtive Turns as an action. That means ONE Touch for the Spell loosing your entire Action (so again both attacks of the Monk) So sorry to be that guy, but your Build doesnt work. Cool Picture though and I like the Idea. Considering how underpowered Monks are, i might even allow it on the Table. (depends on the Rest of the Party)

I have been directed to quite a number of mistakes I made while fleshing out this build- I probably should have double and triple checked before publishing a video- and in the cases it might pass, it’s 10000% a build that is dependent on talking to your DM/Party. I had no idea it would reach so far, clearly I have much learning to do with D&D yet :)) but I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment !!
