Come along and see how well Oliver, our Clydesdale stallion is doing in training! He is such a good boy and is starting to stand very well while being tacked up. He is really making leaps and bounds in his training and we thought it was time to do a little update! Enjoy!

Oliver is a two year old Clydesdale stallion that we rescued earlier this year with the help of our viewers. He was very sick when we first got him and REALLY Underweight. He has come a long way and made a full recovery from EPM. He is now well and strong enough to start training to pull and eventually ride (Of course with the ok from our vet and chiropractor). It is so easy to fall in love with Oliver. He wants to please, he wants to work, and he loves being rewarded. The firewood could be hauled by a vehicle, but giving Oliver a job, a purpose, and a chance to interact with JR is so good for him. What a wonderful job you’ve done and continue to do.

I'm home after a difficult day. Sit down with a cool drink, and there's a new Oliver video! Inspirational !! ❤ I loved the way he turned his head to watch that JR was tacking him up correctly!! And his hooves clip clopping on the concrete, and how he willingly, and carefully, backed into alignment with the shafts. He knows! He understands! He wants to pull his little cart and be useful...! There are plenty of humans who cannot do what Oliver can do ! Oliver has an excellent attitude. Wish we all had Oliver's attributes ❤ xx

When you say his hair is growing, that's a testament to his nutrition you folks give him. Also looks like he has room to grow in his harness. So glad you found him and brought him home.

I don’t know when I have ever seen a sweeter horse, and He learns so quickly.You’re kind to to him,and he gives you his all! I’m really glad that you are seeing the benefit of all the mental , emotional, and physical stimulation. My grandpa (who used draft horses for some farm work) said that the best way to frustrate a working breed was to let them go idle. On the other hand, I remember when he got so angry at a nearby farmer who was beating his horses, get a horsewhip and paid a visit to the man (that had to be 60 years ago). I’m not justifying; I’m just telling the story. I don’t know if I have ever seen a calmer well adjusted stud! It’s crazy how much he’s grown,but Oliver still has that adorable baby face🥰❣️

Jr Oliver is doing fantastic from the really sick boy he was . He's absolutely handsome. Every time l see him he looks bigger. It looks sometimes like he's not walking as well on his two front feet at least on cement. His fur is so beautiful. He loves you an trusts you. Awesome.

I found your channel as I enjoy learning about draft horses so Oliver is great to watch and see his progress. I watch another channel called "working horses with Jim" as he does everything on his farm with draft horses so he may be able to help answer some of your questions but Oliver looks like he is doing great
