Right?? Just watching, I would have kicked the dirt bike rolled the container and sat in the woods babbling.

That's what I expected him to realize... it's SO obvious vs multiple 2x4s and a jack... each foam sheet. Heck the foam could have been sprayed between studs and sheets to replace jack holding them up in place.

Steel is an excellent heat transmitter...any and all suspended moisture coming into contact with the COOLER steel surfaces is going to condense and if in sufficient quantities will collect or congregat aat a low pont and drip. drip, drip, drip.....coat the metal exterior with a separator ...mission accomplished. This is just one of the many reasons that architects and engineers frown on converting containers into residence. It isn't a cost effective enterprise!!! (I am an architect>)

3M Foam Fast 74 is a brand that I've used. It's minimal expansion. There are other brands that expand more, but this really works well.

I thought about that. I rent. The security screen door has a huge gap at the bottom. I put a pool noodle down there. Keeps the little critters out.

Absolutely….cheap and easy. He’s using tools he has not necessarily familiar with this alternative clamping suggestion or he’d use it. Just my guess.
