I heard this somewhere: George Weasley saw himself in the mirror Erised and he saw himself with an ear and he looked away disgusted, but then came to realise that he was seeing Fred
I think it strongly depends on WHEN Hermione looks in the mirror. All Outstanding grades with a perfect smile and FRIENDS would be year 1...and would continue some parts of this desire until she has them. Afterwards, it would be a boyfriend...and all Outstanding grades Next, it would be her parents, all her friends, and especially Ron and Harry safe.. with Voldemort defeated. And lastly, she would see Ron, Rose, Hugo and herself...happy and safe. Therefore, content.
Sebastian Contreras many people believe he was telling the truth or at least a half truth, the theory is he liked to knit with his sister, later on in the series we see him taking a knitting book
Harry is an orphan, Ron has issues of self-esteem, not unlike Neville, Hermione is worried she doesn't have enough to face challenges, that's why she's always prepared, but also appreciative of Harry's remark, later echoed by Snape, that you can't totally prepare for the dark arts. I think she would see herself confident and adroit in front of the unknown.
KarlderKastn the room of requirements only opens to you when you’re in needing of something. For Harry Potter he needed the room for dumbledores army because that’s what his heart desired at the time. But in his first year when he was trying to hide he found himself in the room of requirements and found the mirror of erised and that’s when he saw his family cause that’s what he loved most deep down. It’s really simple really.
It depends when. Mixed up I would say: herself good-looking with normal teeth top grades and good friends. Later her kissing Ron, top grades, Voldemort defeated and everybody she loves and cares about safe. All of this sorounded by books and happy looking houseelves. I think Hermione is the kind of person who has permanent deep desires but her greatest desire keeps changing between them depending on her age or even the moment which she is living. The same thing happens with her boggart if you ask me. In they're third year Ron says jokingly that her boggart would be a piece of homework in which she only got 9 out of 10 and he is pointing in the right direction as we know that in the end of year exams Hermione comes out of the exam screeming because her boggart turned into professor McGonagall who told her she had failed all of her exams. However I think that when time passes and they are facing the second Wizarding war, I think that her greatest fear isn't that anymore, but something, according to me more serious. She is the kind of person who has got everything (fears and desires) in order but continuously sorts out regarding her fears and desires.
It's been 9 years for harry potter's last movie... We still miss all the HP characters.... And even in this tough time... Ur bringing back the memories... So grateful to u
If anyone is wondering who Hermoine would see in the Mirror of Erised, it would greatly depend on what age Hermoine was at the time. After desiring to see her and her friends safe and Voldemort destroyed, Hermoine would then think about herself and what she wants or desires for herself. One being to find the live of her life. No I say that this would depend on what age Hermoine is at. Would her feelings towards Harry remain sisterly or grow into more? Same with Ron? What about feeling she may have or have had with other boys in her life before coming to Hogwarts? Then there are 2 others -- Viktor Krum and Draco Malfoy. Hermoine chose to attend the Triwizard Yule Ball more out of spite for Ron than attraction to Viktor. But at Bill and Fleur's wedding, we saw the Viktor still hold a torch for Hermoine, and she still finds him attractive, to Ron's jealous eyre. Finally there is the fairytale choice -- Draco Malfoy. He is handsome, refined, well-spoken, and self confidence. Everything a girl could want. Unfortunately he is arrogant and a bully. He is a pureblood bigot to her kind -- muggleborns, and clearly unwilling to stand up for himself against his father Lucius -- a deatheaters, a follower of Voldemort.
@@hermionejeangranger3360 In my honest opinion, Harry is Hermoine's safest and best choice. He would respect her and protect her with his life. Draco, as I said, is Hermoine's fantasy choice. He would seduce he as if she were a princess; but in truth, Hermoine would be a trophy - laying claim to the smartest, most beautiful girl at Hogwarts. Ron is the outside choice. Opposites attract, and Ron is the most opposite of what Hermoine is. If Harry wasn't friends with both of them, I don't feel that they would ever look at each other with more that an annoyed scowl. Harry gets Hermoine's head out of the books, and Harry gets Ron to think about someone other than just himself.
you know what ,I have always shipped Harmione and by your words I think you ship them too . On the other hand I think Dramione is also good . Many people ship them too but as you said he has insulted Hermione many times and is a bully . So I think Harmione is better because if she has some feelings for Harry (not sisterly) and choose him then he will always help her and protect her and love her .(Still not sure that Harry has feelings for her or not) but if he has then they both will be the best couple ever . Always standing for each other and can do anything for each other (even die ).
Whoever said she sitting on a throne of books or perfect test scores is wrong. Didn't the video litterally mention that she is selfless? And then i want a video on Every single character please! Also i think that she will see voldemort beaten, her friends safe, and dating a particular person.
Lego Gamer5502 not true. Guess why I didn’t? Because it’s much better instead of replying to a comment to post your own comment. Also please check what R whooshed means. I think you made the word up
Just asking that question isn't really specific enough. It depends on *when* someone looks in the mirror as to what they will see. Desires change over time. Even in the same book, at one point Harry saw his family and another point saw just himself giving him the Sorcerer's Stone. That's why Rowling gave the answer she did regarding Hermione. It isn't exactly about what Hermione as a character desires overall, but what she wanted most when Rowling was asked about it.
This is my first time watching your channel, and I immediately realized how calm your voice is. (I’m watching this at 10 pm, and I’m trying to go to sleep) 😌😴
After the war I believe she would see herself finding her parents and realtering their memorie so they would recognize her again. Neville would see himself as the hero his grandma and parents are proud of, defeating Bellatrix Lestrange. Luna would see her Mom, she is so similar to Harry. Molly and Arthur would see their whole (extended) family happy and well at a big table without any sorrows. Voldemort would see himself alive in hall full of people he murdered. The one who survived every other human, truly special. Umbridge would see a world of order. She as the person in control, where everything that is sonehow not in one box (a halfbreed) can be eliminated in a clean and efficient way, and surrounded by sweet cats, that don't leave their fur or dirt anywhere, and that obey her totally.🐈
Random person: what do you think hermionie would see in the mirror of erised? Me who watched the studio c video on the mirror: her and voldemort, getting married, having children, and eventually getting cancer, and dieing Edit: this was only a joke, and I would never mean this
In case anyone is wondering, if an author doesn't put information about a character in a book, it's not actually part of that character's story. It's how they view that character, yes. But we each have a mind, and can make up our own version of why each character is the way they are. If it's not in a book, it's not part of the story. Which means if the author tries to say, outside the boundaries of the book, something about one or more characters that they claim as fact about such characters, you don't have to accept that as part of that character or story. THIS INCLUDES J.K. ROWLING
I think their is 2 really out there answers that it could be. 1. A world where witches and wizards who don’t have magical parents are accepted. 2. Magical parents. I think that conversation with Hagrid in the second year about her being called a mud blood is more deeper than people might think.
Honestly this is not a very satisfying answer. The mirror of Erised shows "Nothing less then the innermost desire of your heart", not your temporary right now desire "I sure hope we get out of this alive". The part about being closer to a certain other character might be true and makes a bit more sense, but the part about them surviving and beating Voldermort? That just seems very impersonal and temporary, What would the mirror have shown before year 4 for Hermione? And what would she see after the fight with Voldemort? With Harry The Mirror shows his parents, Harry's innermost desire is to belong, to have a home, a family. This desire informs his character throughout the series, it's not a temporary thing that once done Harry will never desire again. If Harry looked in the mirror in the deathly hallows I don't think he would suddenly see himself beating Voldemort, he would still see his parents. This is what is at the core of his personality. The same goes for Ron who sees himself as admired and successful in the mirror. So this seems like an answer J.K hadn't properly thought out and pretty much made up in the moment.
@@krispyfishnuts Harry getting the stone from the mirror is a completely separate spell/situation created by Dumbledore. It is not a standard functionality of the mirror to hide things inside itself. Notice when Dumbledore explains the events to harry he stipulates that "only someone who wanted the stone, wanted it but not to use it, could get it." This is plainly outside the scope of the normal enchantment of the mirror of Erised which shows "your hearts deepest desire".
I still think that what Prof. Dumbledore _really_ saw in the Mirror of Erised was Ariana healthy and able to use magic normally, as well as himself and Grindelwald together as a happy couple. But that's just my guess, based on what we know of his history from the novels and Fantastic Beasts.
I don't know if somebody knew this but: I think Harry's scar is also Voldemort's Horcrux. Here's why -Voldemort tried to kill Harry when he was a baby, but failed. Thus, leaving Harry with a lightning - shaped scar - Then Dumbledore explained to Harry that when Voldemort tried to kill him, some of Voldemort's powers have transfer onto him - Voldemort's powers are in some way, part of his soul
Snape severus would see Lily Potter. Harry potter saw his parents and him together, the second time he saw a gem in his pocket. Ron weasley saw himself in old-fashion clothes in the game (i forgot the games name) The son of the dursleys would see probably maybe money or precious items. The dursleys would probably love to see (in the mirror), harry disappearing in their family.
@@krispyfishnuts Nah, she loved her before she went to the school for “freaks”. Maybe she would see that Lily was a muggle like her, or she was a witch too.
What famous slytherins in the og hp movies would see (in my opinion, these are not confirmed): Draco: Apple (#Drapple for life) Lord Voldemort: Harry Potter’s Grave Severus Snape: Lily. As well as dead James Potter. Now some other random hogwartsians: Luna: Pudding Ron: Chicken! What? You didn’t expect me to be serious with this, did you? Imma do a vid on this on my channel soon if u wanna see it seriously or maybe I can do something in the replies section but I will probs forget. (ShAmElEsS pLuG)
I'd see 48 people on the mirror of Erised. BTS (7), BLACKPINK (4), TWICE (9), ITZY (5), MAMAMOO (4), RED VELVET (5), EVERGLOW (6), IU (solo artist) and Somi (solo artist)
First of all, I think it depends on the situation in which someone looks in the mirror. Take Harry himself as an example. When he saw the mirror for the first time he was in no great danger and when he looked into it, he saw himself with his parents. Later, when he found himself fighting Quirrel, he wished to find the Philosopher's Stone in this particular situation. And obviously at this point this wish was greater than being with his parents again, because the mirror not only showed him how he felt the stone in his pocket, it actually "gave" him the stone. Now when I imagine Hermione looking in the mirror for the first time, just like Harry did the first time, I don't think she can see herself, Harry and Ron as unharmed. In my opinion, this wish is too general. I think knowing your family and friends healthy is a desire most people have. And what an egoist would have to be Ron in this case, who sees himself as the head boy and winner of the Quidditch championship. Of course he isn't, he just doesn't want to be always in the shadow of others. For me Hermione is a person who is very important to justice and who is strongly committed to prejudice and I think the mirror would show her a picture that reflects exactly this, maybe she and an elf as Minister of Magic
I just imagined this sad scene; George Weasley looking in the mirror and seeing himself with no ear and looking away in disgust, then realising he was seeing Fred 🥺
What if your greatest desire is something you yourself do not know? Like for example you're someone who doesn't know where you came from, say you lost all your memories and your greatest desire is to know who you truly are. Would the mirror be unable to show you what you don't already know, or will it show you from it's own power?
I bet sirius before pettigrews betrayal would see something different than sirius after escaping azkaban. Sirius is one of my favourite characters out of harry potter and i would love to see a video of him explained, what he would see in the mirror of erised, what his boggart would be, which memory the dementors would force him to relive. And i think it could be enough stuff to fill a video on its own, because the answers would differ extremely depending of the point in the timeline.
so I am a huge PotterHead, and I have theories on what every single one of the HP characters would see in the Mirror of Erised, but I dont want to bore yall.
If it's the 10 years old Draco then properly he would see his family proud of him become a great wizard. If it was during Half Blood Twin, he would properly see his mission of killing Dumbledore success and he's saved. If it's present Draco, he would see his family including his lost wife together with him as whole again.
@@warriorcatgaming555andmysh3 um, Harry likes Ginny she’s his girlfriend and Hermione’s together with Ron. I know, Hermione and Harry should’ve got together but, Ginny and Harry were truely meant for each other!!! Ginny’s scared of talking infront of harry but, when Draco shouted at harry, Ginny said: stay away from him!!! It’s not some silly o’l school girl crush!!!! It’s true love!!!!
Hermione would see Free House Elves wearing all the socks and hats she knitted for them cheering at their freedom. We can't forget Hermione founded S.P.E.W. because she sees the House Elf Enslavement as a grave injustice in the world.
I think that what anyone would see in the mirror of Erised would change over time depending on their life's experiences. For example before the defeat of Voldemort Hermione would want to have her family and friends safe, she even sent her parents to Australia in order to keep them out of harm's way. Though after Voldemort's defeat she would see all creatures and muggle born witches and wizards being granted full rights. She would only want to be Minister of Magic in order to continue her work for equality for all creatures. I would like to see a video on what other characters would see in the mirror though Queenie's deepest desire would actually be shown in an American TV show in the 1960's. The American TV show Bewitched actually premiered in the fall of 1964 which is about a blonde headed witch who marries a mortal (no maj) and their life in suburban America.
OOOO THIS IS JUICCCCCY!!!! Well, what I mean by “Juicy” is that this: This video said she’d she herself with someone.... 🚨SPOILER ALERT!!🚨 In the epilogue of Novel 7, Hermione has a HUSBAND. It is as ya’ll know or don’t, RON WEASLEY (Back to talking......) So, Is it NOT juicy that they get married? Leave a thumbs up or down & leave a comment! TYSM! -JJ💚 PS. Plz leave ether a 👍 or 👎!
