I am new to knitting, so don't have very many knits to style yet. But I really love how thoughtful knitting has made me in terms of curating my wardrobe, and I really look forward to accumulating more knits to style!
I love linen paired with a hand-knit piece! Especially a dress with a cropped sweater or cardigan. Love your spring style and thank you for such a great giveaway!
I love wearing a linen dress with a cropped knitted tee especially in a cooler fiber, or a warmer woolly cardigan on stormy chilly spring days! I have worn my Not Perfect Linen dress to death, I just love it. I have had my eye on one of the wrap jumpsuits and it looks so good on you, especially with the cute cardigan!
I love wearing my handknits with my NPL pieces! They are a natural pairing. I love that they all have good, functional pockets, not just decorative little things. Being petite at 5’ 1”, its super helpful that they will take and make modifications!!
I absolutely adored the jumpsuit with the cardigan look! Linen has been talked about so much in the community recently and I’ve been so tempted to get some for myself!
I love styling linen and wooly hand knits. Lately I’ve been into just layering everything oversized. Long skirts and dresses with long cardigans or oversized sweaters. ❤
I love wearing my hand knits with not perfect linen! I've been trying to add a few pieces each year. Thank you for some inspiration and a fantastic give-away.
I love notsoperfect linen . I have a couple of their dresses that my knitwear go over so nicely. I love how they allow alterations to fit our own unique bodies. Just like our knitwear!
Love watching your podcasts 😊 I like to style cropped sweaters or short sleeve tees with dresses 👗 or linen pants with knitted tops. Now that I got back to knitting I try to wear my knitted and crochet tops daily!
Loving this episode and the linnen pieces you've chosen! They are the perfect pieces for all year round I would say. I really love the look of them and will hopefully get around to sewing a few pieces myself for the upcoming hot weather!
So nice to see how you style your knits and linen clothes! Love not perfect linen, just hope they would have larger sizes in all of their beautiful clothes.
I rediscovered linen last summer and I cannot wait to have a warm enough weather in the UK to start wearing it again. I have a pair of rust coloured dungarees and I love pairing them with either a plain white t-shirt or a grey handknit sweater I made last spring. Having some Note Perfect Linen garments would be a dream 🤍
I love your style, and thank you for sharing some of your outfits, it's great inspiration! We moved to a warmer climate, so it's inspiring to see how you've paired your handknits with linen. :)
I’m always so happy when you upload a new video. I love your yarn and color choices and you inspire me to sew more! I’ve recently got a sewing machine and I’m very excited to continue my fiber arts journey ❤
Ah, I love talking about styling handmade pieces and I loved how you did yours! And i really enjoyed the cumulus KAL. I’d been wanting to make it for over a year and it was just the push I needed! So glad you and Julia had the idea❤
Long and so so lovely episode, as always! 😍Keeps me company while doning the dishes and other boring stuff ☀️ . And the linnen garnments are sooo beautiful ❤👍
For helical knitting, I just start doing it for the last third of a skein, so you don’t have two balls attached for the whole project. Helical knitting is very simple. You just slip the last three stitches of a row, then use the new yarn. When you get to three stitches before your first yarn, slip three stitches, drop the second hand, and then pick up the first and repeat!
I loved your styling section of this video Marlene, a really cool addition to your traditional podcast, those redwood trousers are stunning and that jumpsuit looks great on you! Great to meet you at WoollyGood last weekend! 🎉
It´s really lovely and inspiring to watch your podcasts and i want to say you have an excellence taste choosing what you knit and sew. By the way the linen jumpsuit is very very beautiful.
I’ve been exploring the options at Not Perfect Linen and it was helpful to me to see how the clothes look on you. I think they have a nice variety of choices and tons of options for colors! Beautiful. Anyway, I’ve been watching your episodes for a couple of months now and I really enjoy seeing your makes. Thanks for sharing.
I've been dreaming of a lot of cardigans this spring to have some better layering pieces! Loved watching the styling portion and your beautiful cumulus blouse!
Linen and wool is just a lovely and classic combination 😻 I only have one linen shirt by now so a skirt, dress or pants would be lovely to add to my wardrobe 😊
I love that I found your channel. Its so nice to see what someone else living in Germany is knitting! I don't have very many summer knits yet but I'm definitely planing on making some this year. :)
I loved the way you styled the striped jumper with the deep red trousers♥️ I do have a small hand knitted wardrobe because I have mostly done gift knitting 😂 but I am happy to realize that I use one of my hand knitted jumpers all the time✨
Yeah🎉 Another great episode! Love watching them. I enjoyed seeing how you styled your beautiful linen pieces. I am grateful for getting new ideas ❤ I also love to wear linen in spring and sommer. Most likely dresses😊
I live in the desert where it fluctuates from very hot to very cold. I tried linen bedding a few years ago and will never go back. I would love to be able to incorporate more linen garments. I’m in love with some of the pants from not perfect linen. My favorite outfit was the one with your stripe hype sweater, and I’m currently knitting on one of my own! I also can’t wait to see your peacock tee 🤩
Wow I LOVE the way you styled your knits & linen pieces - the way that your stripe hype sweater's stripes matched the pants is *chef's kiss*. I WISH I were in Edinburgh that weekend! It would be such a joy to meet both you & Vanissia! And lastly, I love that as usual, your videos showcase so many gorgeous shades of green in so many types of fabrics haha - love your cumulus blouse!
Oh I so love your colour aesthetic, I am definitely in the ‘granola girl’ camp as well. Linen and hand knits go so well together, a match made in heaven ❤
I LOVE your style, Marlene. The linen paired with your knits are so lovely. And I really like the way you styled your hair in this video too. Also, thanks for hosting the Cumulus Mini KAL. I just finished my Cumulus and it's out on the deck, drying in the sun as I type this. It was a lot of fun to be a part of the KAL!
Really loved the styling section. It’s so inspirational to see how others style their pieces to come up with new ways to show off your hand makes. Also love the tee stash section, some great ideas for projects at this time of year. Thank you.
It's quite cold where I live this spring so I feel like I haven't changed my style yet. It's still cold enough to wear a sweater with mohair which I pair with jeans and my Blundstones. I do wish I had jumped on the tiny scarf trend earlier because that would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe this spring. Happy spring knitting Marlene.
Marlene I really enjoyed this podcast! Love your styling segment with your knits and NPL, what a perfect match! Off to sign up for their newsletter and thanks for a chance to win a gift card 😊 I also loved seeing your thoughts for summer knit wear. I so need to get started on that! Have a great time at your yarn festival, and I look forward to seeing your blog about it.
Hello Marlene, I do like your styling of Not perfect linen with the knitted items. Fabulous look. You have inspired me. I love all the coffee to ginger colours. 🧶👌
How I love your podcast - your charm and genuine approach! Always happy when there is a new episode. So exiting with your collab with Not Perfect Linen. I love their clothes and already has some in my wardrobe but dream of more. Now I am on their newsletter as well.
Marlene, I absolutely loved your styling, especially the linen jumpsuit.🖤 Also your sewing journey inspires me to continue on mine as I am huge on/off sewer, hopefully it will last this time.)) Sending love from Czechia!
Hi Marlene! It's great to see you again. I love my not perfect linen pieces too, they go so well with handknits for sure 😊 I'm looking forward to seeing your Scotland vlog since I'll be visiting hopefully this summer 💖
Loved this video. My fave combo for spring is definitely skirts and cardigans! But I need to branch out so I loved seeing how you styled your hand knits for spring!
I wish I could be in Scotland to meet up with you! You seem like such a thoughtful and considerate person. Thank you for creating videos so carefully and beautifully. ❤🧶🪡
I am new to your channel - you kept me company while I knit and sewed - I too enjoy knitting for my handmade clothing and love to pair my knits with linen for all times of the year. Thanks for the inspiration. I love your color palette. Thank you Marlene!
I have so enjoyed watching all your videos. Watching the way you style your outfits is one of my favorite parts about your videos. The colors you pick are always so lovely. I have definitely been inspired to try adding some linen pieces to my wardrobe.
