​@@eatnplaytoday Of course that's a necessary part of life too, I'd never advocate spending all your time alone but time to yourself is so soothing and peaceful. I need a lot more alone time than most and finally allowing myself it after years of trying to please others and have never been happier. Got my first solo trip in a few months and I can't wait - trips with friends or a partner are great but involve a lot of compromise. You can do whatever you want on your own, it's a beautiful and freeing feeling.

this is sooo true, I loveee to travel and do travelling vlogs, and the best ones are always the ones where I am with my family or friends, I've recently moved abroad to study, and have been loving sharing my experience but being alone is hard

@@elaineq9565 what im saying is it’s not a tax 29.99 means 30 no matter where you go. In NYC we get taxed on everything but food items I think like grocery. So 29.99 is just 30 dollars everywhere in the US then tax is typically like 89 cents

I agree. The first time in NYC is always intriguing. Especially as a first time solo traveler. But the more someone travels to NYC and gets used to the hectic city life that never sleeps. Then it'll get easier and it will feel more comfortable. And Julie just had her first solo travel to a big city. I understand that she felt uncertain and like someone's gonna rob her. But in the end of the day. Nothing happened and she arrived at home safely. With all her belongings in regard. I was scared and felt unsafe the first time I traveled solo to Egypt. And south Korea and Japan as a female . But it was all good. And I didn't get anythinh stolen or so. Now I like solo traveling. It is just to get out more of the comfort zone and experience what's on the other side of ones shell. The more she travels to NYC. And the big apple. The more she will start to enjoy her trips and feel more comfortable. And besides NYC is a Big city. And it is easy to become overwhelmed the first visit. There's just EXTREMELY MUCH TO SEE AND EXPLORE AND EXPERIENCE AND IT IS A HUB FOR CULTURE. So I totally understand. But I now love visiting NYC ❤.

For me it’s just annoying to hear the complaint but still buying the stuff knowing it’s a tourist trap 😂. Maybe it’s because she’s lived in Minnesota and Korea but she seems also like she’s never had an experience like in a city. She’s like oh they’re gonna rob me. I have always felt same visiting America. And especially in NYC. NYC can be a big and scary city. And people should be aware of ones surroundings. But it is generally safe for solo travelers. I traveled solo once and nothing bad happened.

I have never heard of that stuff. I always blown my birthday candles out without issues and so many million people does.
