+Sean P Thanks Sean. Here in SoCal, it has been pushing 100 degrees, daily. In Phoenix Arizona, it has been so hot, plastic mailboxes and fences have literally drip melted! Heat stroke is no joke. You could always carry the little chewable electrolyte tablets, but I prefer the sugar/salt solution. Body absorbs it faster I feel. I can just dump that whole pack in my Nalgene, shake, and give to someone to drink.
Yeah up here in NorCal was pretty bad last week. Yeah, someone can always do the chewables, but I like your solution as it is something that every kitchen has.
Shemagh / bandanas can be used for an improvised dressing, wound packing (they can treat infection at hospitals), tourniquet with a stick or pen / sharpie, wet it for heat stroke, improvised blanket, etc. Just some things to note in case people are curious. Great video. I know it's a bit old but I just came across it now. Subbed.
