I am not sure why you were using the bar so far around to remove a tyre the bar should be positioned somewhere between 4 and 5 o clock if the tyre does not come off you can slide the bar back release the pedal and then put the bar back on and hit the pedal again and it will take it off further having the bar so far away will just make your life more difficult I own one of these machines and I would have been tyre fitting for over 20 years I have my little bit of advice help you out fitting tyres
