I'm 16 going to be 17 in two months and my dad is 6'0 and my mom 5'5 and I'm 5'8 and I was wondering if this will help me grow taller to 6'2 in 8 months?
Same story to u um 179 with good posture but in bad posture is 175 since um 14years old my legs are some how bowed my dad 6'5 mum 5''11 big bro 6'7 oldest sis 6'0 me I will be 7'0
I mean as long as you get your 8-10 hours it should be fine right. Let's say you went to sleep at 4 a.m. but woke up at 12 p.m., that's 8 hours so your body would be well rested

@@sensationalj375 You'll be 6 ft. Trust me. You'll get a growth spurt. I have seen many people who were only 5 ft 5 inch and grew 5ft 11inch in their 17.
GoldenStarGamez it's 90% genetics but if u are deficient or not eating enough as a child you might not grow to for example 6'2 like you were genetically meant to

When I was 14 years old, I was approximately 5'7" in height. However, by the time I turned 16, I had grown to 6'0" (183cm). During my time as a 14-year-old, I joined the national cadet corps and worked hard in military trainings every week. Even though I hated it back then, I am grateful to myself for making that decision. During that time, I lost a significant amount of body fat. I have an assumption that it's connected to my growth, as most of my growth spurt occurred after I lost that fat.
@@currentwork4353 if you wanna grow, stretching is not gonna work, you need to still be in puberty, you have to sleep 8-10 hours a day because thats when growth hormone is released, also you need to eat a lot, eat a healthy balanced diet with lots of different nutrients, so carbs, fats, sugar, protein, calcium, vitamins, whole grains, and more, you also need to exercise, such as hiit workouts and weight training. also reccomend going for a run or walk in the morning it aids in sleep
Bruh as soon as I heard beans, eggs, salmon, and leafy vegetables I was like “LETS GOOOO THIS IS MY DAILY MEAL I HAVE A VERY FOOD STRICT FAMILY BEANS FTW” I started working out daily, I am 14 so I shouldn’t over worry about my height because I still have time, my parents are both around 5’2 and I’m like 5’4, so I’m stretching daily, checking if I have stomach worms and I’ll hopefully grow more
I’m currently 15 years old. My Dad is 5’11 and my Mom is 5’5. I’m 5’7.75 inches tall. I exercise Monday, Wednesday, and Friday every week sticking to a High Intense workout routine. I do 9 stretches when I wake up and before I go to bed and I make sure to have a balanced diet. I’m really hoping to be at least 6’0. Do you guys think it’s possible? Edit: I’m now 5’10 and currently 18. While this isn’t 6’0 I’m content with my height. My message to you boys is that you are more than your height. Learn to accept and love yourself as you are and you will find happiness.

height depends on your genetic, if your diet is not especially bad and you are even a little active, you will get what you deserve. Maybe hard work will make a difference of 1inch. All these guys posting about increasing height and all just had their growth spurt later. Even I had friends who were small until 17 and suddenly grew in their 18 or 19.
I recommend the RU-vid video “7 stretches to grow taller” by beauty within. The comment section is filled with drastic results. Always remember your worth isn’t in your appearance though. I hope your health journey goes well.

Guys, the most important thing that helps you to grow is growth hormone. You must be also trying to boost the amount of growth hormone release. I found that sprinting and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) will boost them. Also being active in sports and following a high protein nutrition will improve the growth of the muscle as well as your overall health. If you are really serious on increasing height I would recommend to take some suppliments (take help of a doctor if you are not sure which supplements you should take). I am 19 year old boy and when I was 16 I was around 5 foot 7 inches and after following great diet, HIIT, sprinted everyday and was active in boxing, at the age of 18 I was 6'2. But genetics too play a big role here.
@@reubensingh1430 no you need to sleep at the same time every night and make sure you're getting 8-9 hours of sleep (9 hours being the more recommended one but 8 hours is also fine)
@@reubensingh1430The quality of sleep matters and you only get that good quality sleep if you sleep early, have you noticed when you sleep late and wake late you need more than 8 hours of sleep and still wake up tired but when you sleep early and wake early you don't need much sleep because the sleep you get is good quality do body gets recovered in relatively small period of sleep
being a Muslim, i prayed a lot over a summer when I was traveling abroad - (the muslim prayer involves a lot of body stretches and positions). And I walked a lot, and went outside. I noticed my posture improved quite a bit, as a result, I grew an inch taller (5'8 to 5'9).. when I came back from vacation. before then I was living a sedentary lifestyle. think Pizza and videogames. Nowadays I think i'm back at my 'normal' height of 5'8.. So yea. I'm not a chiropractor or whatever but i'd say its obvious stretching and overall posture plays a role in your height capacity.

Stretch stretch stretch. When I was a sophomore in high school & was around 5’8 I wanted to grow taller so I thought the ideal thing to do would be to stretch to allow my muscles & bones to continue to expand (I was a multi sport athlete) so I asked my brother who was a contemporary dancer to show me how to stretch. I did it for almost 6 months & ended up growing over 3 inches. But it also has to do with your genetics as well.
Drei just look up stretches that dancers do. It’ll hurt or you’ll be super tight the first couple weeks but if you do it everyday when you first wake up you’ll begin to notice a difference.

It’s different for everyone but when I was 17 I was 5’6 and now at 20 I’m 5’9 and still growing to atleast 5’10-5-11. It’s definitely possible to get 4-6 inches until you stop growing.

Experienced to overthink that i may not grow enough, because some of my friends are taller than me during that time. Thanks to my genes, having a 6'0 ft father of mine. But now, as 21 yr old guy, my current heght is 5'10 not bad for a filipno guy, i'm really proud that I'm belong to those people that are above average tall. Always remember that diet and genetics is the main factor of human height. Sports can help a lot to increase height. That's why i love to play basketball.

Im 5 foot 6 inches at 13, my dad is 6 foot 2 and my mom is 5 foot 4. The doctor said that my projected height ranges from 6 foot 1 to 6 foot 4 (I still gotta do some exams). This video helped me out alot on trying to get as tall as I can!
@@Tonym3- I have seen 1-2 cm change in my body bro, keep doing the stretching in daily basis, add hanging into your list of streachings, get enough sunlight and sleep, even if I am struggling to get enough sleep, get more calcium and vitamins its really possible!
@@KC-nv6qf no, I didn't do these exercises. In my case, it's mostly genetics but in general, diet and exercise also play an important role in determining ur height. Eat food rich in protein, calcium and vitamin D or u could take supplements and get atleast 8 hrs of sleep every night cuz ur body releases growth hormone when ur sleeping.
Taylord Yah. Something def stunted my growth b/c around 7th grade (a lot of ppl’s peak of puberty) I lost A LOT of weight and ate a lot less for some reason. Plus, b/c of my mother’s work schedule and my sibling’s and I’s school schedule we had to work around, I didn’t get much sleep then. I had to wake up at like 4am ever school day😔. That stuff screwed me over😭. Anyway, do you remember when you grew the most??
I started doing some basic stretches in the morning and before sleeping, working out,eating healthy and just sleeping well,grew from 5'8 to 5'9 about 10 days,I stopped after that due to an injury but doing these basic things does help,u can try meditation too.

@@peachof6145 Just a balanced diet,you can get that from Google,and if you cannot eat that everyday try to eat more protein, doesn't have to be meat, anything like beans or green vegetables,and avoid junk food. Other than that drink water,get sunlight, workout and try to avoid smoking or drinking,it can stunt your growth.

I remember watching this video when I was 12 I was about 4’6 ~ 4’9 Now I’m about 5’7 at 15 My dad is 5’8 and my mom is 5’7 I already do powerlifting so I’ll add stretching in my routine and sleep at least 8 hours a day. Playing sports like basketball and swimming really increase your height and athletisicm no cap, I've was a great swimmer as a kid and I switched to basketball when I was 10, and now I'm 13, 6,1 and I can dunk a basketball. My parents aren't tall either, my dad is 5,9 and my mum is 5,5

I'm a TEENAGER -16 Girl !:) but my height is 5'4 around presently ,it's much shorter & I've been doing efforts to increase it & some have been observed in my height ! You’re shooting too low. You can reach 6’2. Just believe. Men grow the most from age 14-19. Get some good sleep, stay active (playing basketball going for runs) and eat healthy.
Nah you never know. I’m 16 and I haven’t grown taller since 14 . I’m was 5,8 2years ago and I’m still the same height. It’s really about luck. Cus someone in my class was 5,8 2years ago but now is 6,3. There’s no specific thing that will 100% make u taller. But you could try them still.

Ayo fam I'm 15 and you're telling the exact story of my current situation. Bowed legs Inadequate growth I probably have stomach worms cuz I eat like a monster 24×7, 8 meals a day(junk food excluded). Yet my height is stunted. Besides that, My bones are very thin and weak yet my thighs and stomach aren't. I'm 5'8 and hope to reach 6'0 ~6'3.
