Wow, funny how we have not experienced much of mosquitoes around here but how dare they like my Zara's skin 😢. You see those flies during summer they driveme nut 😢 but we still love our Aussie like that 😊

You are so 'spot on' (correct) about the insects in Australia. I have a friend who attracts mosquitos (mozzies) and really suffers from the bites. Citronella candles may help; as you know, water around the home attracts the mozzies. Flies, mosquitos, spiders and ants, plus cock roaches, are always troublesome in the house. If you live in Queensland, you will also have lizards. Cock roaches are what I really hate. What you do to get rid of them doesn't matter; you will have them in the house. In Sydney, they are huge and fly......Your vlogs are fantastic because you provide insight into the daily irritations of living in Australia.

Are used to be good stuff Call Crowley cruncher which is pretty good but that ain’t Selled any more There is stuff at Bunnings it’s like a syringe thing and you put under the fridge and they go for it and then they go back to the nest with it and tends to Kilmore someone someone got me onto it next door neighbour I was having problems with the cockroaches and this stuff helping so go and have a look in Bunnings

Are the mosquitoes malaria causing?

mozzies are attracted to carbon dioxide, and skin odor, perspiration and body size all play a role in attracting them as well. I know people who never get bitten whilst others attract them all. And the flies can be dreadful, up north WA in summer forget about insect repellent, just does not work, we have to either put up with it or wear a mesh over your hat brim and face. But the flies used to be much worse before the introduction of dung beetles.

I usually use eucalyptus oil on my body and it helps me with mosquitoes at night. Put the oil on first before spraying any repellent.

The flies are so annoying. Sometimes they just wanna perch in your eyes😡

I live in a city suburb of Sydney and had two separate encounters with male funnel web spiders in the space of two weeks. It was mating season so they were wandering looking for females.
