Wow! Well done, Liz. That is fantastic to hear, you must feel great! 👏🏻 Which kind of foods would you most usually make at home? Could you make a mini version or use lettuce to be the serving spoon for the dish inside, so each person has their own little canapé for example?

I have to say your commitment to an SP week put mine to shame! I honestly don’t think I gave it that much thought when I did it to be honest. I absolutely love that snack box lunch you made! It looked very professional! Great day of meals!!! 😊

Hi Marie! Thank you so much. I’m sure your SP week was still very good! I really loved my snack box so much, really tasty too. I’ve had the same lunch on Monday/Tuesday/Today as well as I’ve loved it so much and have had a good amount of pickled foods and ham etc to use up. I’m having carrot and butternut squash with a little chilli powder stirred through for lunch tomorrow and Friday though 😊. Very cheap to make as just £1.09 for a 1kg bag of frozen sliced carrots and I had half a small bag of butternut squash left and threw in a some stock cubes (1 veg and 1 chicken as I like that taste 😊). Your food was smashing and didn't look like it needed the carbs, I hope you aren't missing them too much 🥰. Your commitment to the pickled gherkin is most admirable 🤣🤣. I do like the look and sound of the coleslaw, I will definitely buy some if I ever get to an M&S. Also, congratulations on your 1.5 K subscribers. You and James have done so well to increase your channel . I hope you enjoy the rest of your time doing SP. The more speed you use, the more weight you lose 😀😀xx

Hi Kim! Thank you so much. I am absolutely loving the pickled gherkins and pickled onions too. Oh, and pickled beetroot. I found diced beetroot in jars last night, I actually liked it more than standard sliced 😂 I lead a very exciting life you know 😂, pickled veg is very important lol! The coleslaw is very good. If I lived closer I would sort it out for you. I wonder if you could even replicate it at home perhaps? Could be an option for you! Thank you so so much! We are absolutely blown away with the support. The channel has grown very quickly recently, and it is so exciting. Thank you for always supporting us ❤️ xx

Hello! Thanks for watching 😊 I cooked mine in a frying pan with some frylight. You can grill or oven bake them too. Full of tasty protein 😍 delicious and these ones are from M&S Collection range, great value too. I think these are about £2.60 and they are huge, you get 2 kippers in a pack, with two rounds of butter, which I don’t use 😊 x

Don’t know about you Denise but I have been on the SP for what is my 3rd day today. I have found it very difficult. Stuck with it but I think I can only do the SP for a couple of days in a week. Do you or anyone else fell the same or is it just me ????

Hi RoseAngela, lovely to hear from you today. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been struggling, but well done on achieving 3 days of SP so far. I didn’t find my SP week difficult, but I did feel I had a smaller range of foods to eat and I had a different or altered meal for lunch and dinner each day from my husband, so it was financially more of a burden buying different foods. It does involve a lot more planning, but at the same time, results are so variable by each person who does SP. I would try to encourage you to complete 3 full days and then slowly reintroduce your free foods that you enjoy, but be mindful of portion control. 3 solid days is better than none at all and it is best to stop while you can control your intake rather than going off plan if it is challenging. Please let me know how you get on xx

@@ScottishFoodieLassie Hi there Denise I’m sticking to it still, day 3!!! It’s just more planning doing this SP. I’m coping better today as I am getting more into it. I will do as you say next week slowly introduce pasta etc. I bought a spiral thing so I could make spiral courgette today. So when I was having a spaghetti dish with my husband I replaced the spaghetti with the courgette and didn’t feel so deprived 🤣 He had normal pasta Thank You so much for kind words of wisdom From a Geordie Subscriber 🇬🇧
