I am living for these ‘What I learned from…’ videos. I love your perspective on these decks that I have and love. I, for one, could watch you go through every card on these decks… 😬🤓 Thank you for sharing your time and energy with us. ✨

My perception of the strengh card is that the chosen bone is not random it is the pelvic bone, and it is combined with the snake, about sexual energy, and this bone is also about mastery, stability, balance. In the son of pentacle there is preparation with woods he has cut for the winter. And my take on the 10 of wands is just about burn out, exhaustion, and having used every ressorces you had. I loved listening to your video on this deck ! thks a lot it was so cool !

The strength card, the snake is actually wrapped around a pelvic bone, or so I’ve come to understand. I also want to thank you for going through some of the cards. I could not for the life of me understand the Devil card and why the horses. Now I get it! And your interpretations of the cards you chose really helped me with this deck. It’s probably going to be one of my only tarot decks and I’m so glad to be able to connect with it better now!

And your video made me get it when you talked about the relationship with the horse étc. This is the next one on my list . I think the Empress isn't a mashup of two trees, it's the same tree but in different seasons. The uppermost part is a picture of the tree when it has shed its leaves.

Hello Allie, I love your work. This is a great review. I have this deck and seeing it through your eyes makes me realize how it has something to say in the general conversation of tarot. Excellent. I wanted to let you know that the 10 of Swords card is based on an actual photo of a baby albatross. It's parents had hunted for food and had inadvertently fed it with the myriad, plastic waste floating in the Pacific. The bird died of starvation as it became filled with indigestible plastics by it's loving parents.

I love this review. You are so intuitive and have such a deep understanding of the tarot. I learned a lot about tarot cards in general from this video. I just ordered this deck, it's been on my radar since I read WTF Is Tarot a few years ago. I think this deck is an instant iconic classic. My vintage Thoth has mysteriously disappeared due to moving houses, I don't know how I lost track of it. But the (I hope temporary) loss is a reason to finally get Wayhome and Golden by Kat Black! They can't come soon enough!!

You really gave me a better appreciation for this deck! I’ve never been very interested in it before, but the way you described the court cards and the way they reference each other was just so interesting.

Re volume: I generally can hear the “what I learned” videos OK, but almost always have a problem with hearing the “week ahead” videos (which I’ve mentioned before . . .).

I love your videos and your insights, however I find the volume too low.

Another 30 minutes, please. What about those mushrooms? And those jelly fish? And getting lost in the star? What I learned from this video: maybe it’s time to spend more time with this deck myself...
