Within a given context where people greet eachother like a bar where the bartender greets the person with otc hello and then this person can notice the otc hello and can replay back to them their own response and then anchor it and you build instant rappor. But what if in like a street where thr is no context of interacting they just mind their own business, when looking at someone on the street walking towards you do they have a otc greeting? Whats your take?

They do, the trick I use is to notice a person coming to my direction. I start assuming their walk and gait and matching it as closely as possible, this will create familiarity and they will be “forced” to acknowledge you (that is, the otc hello). And by “forced” I mean they get a signal from their otc in the form of feelings to do the otc hello. It’s a great way to practice the technique
