Unfortunately the coffee is only 10% of the actual business and he clearly put 90% of his focus into it. It's the business aspect that separates a passion/hobby (the coffee) from a business (the driver of success). Big respect for this man for shooting his shot and sharing his experience! Godspeed
@@MikeFromMaine I live in NYC so plenty of money spent on coffee out. But still you see a lot of closures. A good example of a successful one is called Culture Esspresso on 38th and 6th Ave. Their hook is that they make an award winning chocolate chip cookie. And their other pastries are good too. As a result they are jammed every morning while other nearby coffee shops are dead.
People compelled to open coffee shops or restaurants are built different. It's as if it's some kind of "calling" for them, because I would NEVER open one lol. Never. EVER! lol
