This was incredibly interesting! I may not be working on a comic, but I am working on multiple books. You're definitely right about forming the idea before you start putting pen to paper! It's so much easier than making it up as you go, and not to mention it lets you make connections to previous chapters that you wouldn't otherwise! Even if it's just an outline of how it will go, you can get so much further!

Such a great video! Thank you for sharing your experience and lessons learned. I checked out your comic and it's such a great, light-hearted story. In your next video with different points, it'd be really helpful to have the points in text on screen. Im pretty sure I got all your excellent points (1. Have a buffer, 2. take short cuts, 3. Keep things organized, 4. plan out the storyline, 5. just start and make it a part of your routine). For those who are neurodivergent, or just have an easier time digesting info in multiple ways, it's helpful having key points/ phrases in text on screen. You explained it super well so it was easy to understand and follow, so great job! Def subscribed- both here and to Sugar and Swords~
