wow really great! Mike Skill here, From The Romantics....I came up with the music in the late 70's and our Drummer Jimmy Marinos wrote the lyrics and the rest is history...Great recording, thank you for doing it so classy and cool!

I’m really bummed that I saw Tia on tour the week before the album was released, so I missed out on hearing this banger live. I hope she’s touring again in July. This is one of my favorite PMJ songs. I love the Motown-style covers. This one really reminds of me of “The Way You Do The Things You Do” by the Temptations

I cannot stop tapping my feet to this PMJ version of a classic track from The Romantics! I very nice surprise to hear Amber Woodhouse on the Bari Sax, since you cannot se the instrument behind her... :) And, what can I say about Tia Simone.....unstoppable energy and incredibly powerful voice!! I saw her perform with PMJ at Ruth Eckerd Hall, recently, and I was completely blown away!!! Love this performance PMJ and always appreciate the fantastic arrangements by Scott Bradlee.

Already love PMJ, and REALLY wish the group would swing on through Las Vegas...we could REALLY use performances (like this) that are more about 'class', and less about 'flash'. Was already luvin this up through the halfway point...and, then, Tia cranked it up several notches, started channeling Tina Turner, and my enjoyment shot right off the chart. Talk about a "powerhouse performance". On a 1-10 scale, I give it a 20...10 for the band as a whole, plus an extra 10 for the second half of the video. Tia, you outstanding...and, as for Amber, she's got some serious sax-ability. 👍👍

Pete Comey borrowed my white overalls for an air guitar competition in '85 at Carnegie Mellon. They naturally selected this classic party song. A Pete Townsend style spread eagle leap almost ended that branch of the very tall Comey lineage but earned them a well deserved podium performance. Viva Romantics!

Dear Scott, It was a pleasure to listen to your jazzy recovers of 'classic' postmodern hits. I really liked the way you succeed in reinterpreting these kind of songs in 'mixing' them with all the jazzy styles. As you know, they have condemned me to the death penalty, because I disagree to be their slave AND because I want to love THE woman who has always been the kindest person to me. As had said a famous TV serials character: 'I'm not a number, I'm a free man!' And it isn't while I'm turning around a virtual jail that I'm not free to think and use my will as an independant person. Well, I guess it's time to say goodbye, old fellow. Do you remember when I was looking for jazzy recovers of postmodern songs at the end of 2015? I found Casey's ones out. And as a 'courtois gentilhomme', he had shown me the way to 'reach' a little lovely mouse who was singing the same kind of songs. Gosh! I fell in love few weeks later. Well, I have to go now. I wish you happiness and wisdom for all the years you 'have to' pass in your own jail. Bye bye Phil
