My favorites this month are my Regal Shield, my variegated jade scindapsus, and a flowering cactus. My Regal Shield recently put out 2 new leaves and is getting ready to push out a third that are all giant (one lobe is the size of my hand)! Don't mean to flex, I just can't stop oohing and awing every time I look at it. Yours will get there! My variegated jade scindapsus I purchased about 6 weeks ago is beginning to grow a new leaf. I was giddy when I first spotted the tiny growth point getting bigger. I'm excited to watch her grow! And I have a cactus (can't remember it's official name) that is throwing out bloom after bloom of the most beautiful deep pink color.

I got a Dragons Breath this week. I stayed away from alocasias for years, thinking they were to hard and finicky but this year i slowly started to like them. Now i have 12!

My zz raven did absolutely nothing for more than six months and I was about ready to toss her - but then all of a sudden she popped FIVE stems out all at once! Close call, babe! 😂

My faves this month are my Hoya Variegata Crispa that is turning almost purple-red on the ends now, my Wine-Dipped Coleus (grown inside), my White Butterfly Syngonium, my new Ming False Aralia, and my Pink Princess/Queen Alocasia. Hoping to find a Regal Shield myself under $30 but still looking.

House plants are new to me, but I've already discovered that some plants are just funny fellows. I have a regal shield - I got it as a baby 6cm plant in March. It has 5 leaves on it currently. Since March, I've moved it from an East facing to a West facing window right next to a door that is left open in the Summer. Then two weeks ago I put it in Leca. I've lost one leaf to yellowing/shock. But it's nearly 2 foot tall and the newest leaf is bigger than my face. There is another new leaf coming out, and there is also a baby shoot coming out from the bottom. However, I CANNOT get my epipremnums to grow. One has been stubbornly stuck at 2 very small leaves from a cutting for months. Go figure........

Regal Shield I've found very easy outside of mealies. Mine has 6 leaves with max 18 inches long leaf size, despite consistent mealy bug infestation that refuses to resolve. Unno what the key is to growing it, I mostly neglect it?! Mine's in a small pot, watered weekly.

My favorite for right now must be my new Philodendron Jose Buono, Syngonium Three Kings And Amydrium Medium Silver. But your Dragons Breath and Regal Shield are beautiful too 😊

I scored a variegated Alocasia Polly, a variegated Monstera Peru, a replacement global green pothos and a large ghost euphorbia! Sansi grow lights are my favorite….just got some of the puck lights for a shelf.

I’m currently obsessed with hoyas so I bought a bunch of cuttings and slapped them into pon. They’re rooting beautifully and some are growing their little tendrils already. I’m so in love. Honorable mention to my baby euphorbia lactea white ghost that started growing for the first time!

I have absolutely no luck with cane begonia and really love them. On the other hand my regal shield is totally ignored. In the winter cold dark basement hardly watered and now in summer outside. I can’t kill it. Right now she’s huge and beautiful 4 leaves. Time to take better care of this beauty. You seriously love your plants and it shows. Great tour. 🇨🇦💚

My Monstera Albo is putting out new giant leaves every two weeks 💕 My Begonias are also growing massive leaves very quickly 😀🇨🇦

I thought I would put my Alocasia Black Velvet in Pon. It had gone into dormancy (winter here in NZ) but when I went to take the corms out there was nothing there? No rot or mush either & it had done so well over the summer I was shocked. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

My favorite plant this month is the Jose Beauno. I bought it as a big cutting. I tried to root it is 2 different mediums. I believe it was water that I saw growth. I planted it in soil and it has put out 3 new leaves variegated leaves. One of the huge original is still flopping by. I just has not had the heart to cut it. It will die eventually.

I only have 6 alochasia and the dragon scale is the only one that hated my greenhouse cabinet. Within a month it lost 2 leaves. Yours is doing fantastic in yours though. Strange

I just got me a Dragons Breathe this week, she just a baby but I am Very excited to see her grow. As for favorites right now my Hoya are making moves right now so they excite me the most right now. However I also crossed off another wish list plant so she is also at the top of my favorites for June Chlorophytum 'Fire Flash 🤷‍♀️ I love the orange and green contrast on her

Well I use ordinary cool LEDs. But this grow lights look smart. I'm a Soltech hater. I think they are not for plants but for designers. I want to try the one you showed. Thank you.
