Today, I discuss all my reading plans, what I just finished, some books I picked up, and what I am currently reading, and how Book Two is coming along with some plans regarding the release of my debut Epic Fantasy Novel.
I’ve pulled heavy inspiration from Elden Ring and books like Malazan in terms of the scope they cover and hope to deliver on that promise as the universe goes on.

@@CryBenihime23 I do plan on getting into the last king of osten ard series, likely at the start of 2025-which will inherently get me discussing the other books. That said-I’m always game to talk about that series! Appreciate you coming by to hang out

I've never read any fantasy novel. What book would you recommend for a beginner?

@@siamkhan637 malice by John Gwynn-The Fall and then Of Blood and Fire by Ryan Cahill-or shadow of the gods by John Gwynn (although the writing can be jarring, it is such a satisfying story). A lot of people recommend Mistborn by Sanderson, I just never read it If you’re into darker stories and love reading or watching faster paced character growth, Joe Abercrombie’s the blade itself and that whole series is a masterclass. Personally I think those are all great starts. I started with Dragonbone chair-but that is a very long book with lots of funky names. I just happened to be committed to the genre already 😂
