Exactly that’s why I’m not posting on my RU-vid channel right now or Instagram until I glow myself up slowly but surely I will definitely record my glow up as well with Botox and fillers and with my hair and I will post to videos and take new pictures to post on Instagram 2024
I will turn 65 this Friday, and the fact that I often get mistaken for 40 does not hurt my feelings. I gifted myself breast augmentation for my 40th birthday. I started getting filler in my smile lines at 52. Sometime thereafter, I got veneers. In 2022, I got a full face lift and deep plane neck lift. Now, I get Botox across my forehead. I am vegan, but started this journey as a vegetarian in 1972. I have been working out religiously for the past 35 years. I have no problem investing in myself. Side note- The cost of your veneers was a steal. I got mine done in SoCal and it was $1,500 per tooth way back then. By the way, your efforts look marvelous. ❤

Teeth are the 1st thing I notice when I meet someone. Getting braces was the best investment I ever made in myself. I was always self-conscious about my teeth. Now I smile more than I ever have.
Being a flight attendant and able to get my teeth done in Colombia was the BEST thing I've done for myself!! The way I'm always smiling nobody can tell me nothing 😂😂
I got braces at 35 not cute and I remember telling my now ex who responded with an eeeuuuwww still the strangest response I’ve ever received . I’m trusting the process 18months

I had an insecurity about my teeth all my life because we didn’t have dental insurance for the majority of my childhood and early adulthood. I hustled in my early 20s to fix cavities and got braces because my smile began to come between me and opportunities available to me at the time. The braces changed some of my facial structure as well. Fast forward to mid 30s after dealing with wisdom teeth, I got braces again because of an issue with my bite which can’t fully be fixed. I also have a loss of enamel and natural color change because of age and genetics. I have come to the conclusion that when I get the extra money up, I am rushing to get veneers because having a great smile is so important for me personally. Thank you for sharing your veneer journey, disclosing how to find a more affordable route for this process, and mentioning how dentist will act afterwards because this is never disclosed. This video is a game changer, I am glad I found you. Please keep up the good work.
After 3 kids, im investing in me! Got Invisalign, started a skin care routine, started getting my nails and hair done, and going to the gym. Lost some weight and Ive had microneedling. Next is microblading, visiting the Korean clinic in Houston, and spa days. After that leveling up hobbies.

I just found out that a woman who sells a fitness and food program actually had weight loss surgery and never disclosed it. I completely agree with you that transparency is so important if you’re positioning yourself as a public influencer. It’s completely disheartening

Girl same! I invested in sumeet for a couple years ago and I’m sure she had surgery. I spent $630 on a basic workout / food plan.wasn’t worth it at all/ 😭
I definitely understand what you mean about looking at yourself more than the average person. When I was cheering in the NFL, being photographed and on tv made me hyper aware of my appearance. I’m interested in facial balancing, touching up my micro blading, and getting a few chemical peels. I’m definitely in my reinvention era!

I started dressing differently while cheering and that was my true first “glow up!” And now, reinvention is upon me once more after having a baby :)

Okay so this year 2024, I’ll be 31 and i want to finally get braces -Braces to fix my front teeth gap -deeper chemical peels to get a even complexion -regular facials to help with discoloration -lose weight -breast reduction -lastly stretch Mark removal. I know that may be less likely, but i want to remove my arm/shoulder stretch marks to wear sleeveless tops🤎
I ended up getting a blephroplasty in 2019 and best decision I’ve ever made! I already get laser hair removal on my face and I’m investing in another set of Invisalign and eventually composite bonding. I’m thinking of getting my boobs done at the end of next year or so. Hehe I support all babes wanting to enhance themselves. 💕✨

Hi I just wanted to know did you get the blephroplasty for dark circles under your eyes or to make your eyes look bigger because I have dark circles that nothing seems to fix.
@@serenasessing2356 Hey! A blepharoplasty is only to remove under eye fat. It does make your under eyes a bit hallow due to the fat removal. As for the dark circules there are certain treatments or cream that can help. Unfortunately, I don’t know the names . I would look it up or do a consultation with a plastic surgeon to see how they could help . Goodluck 💖

i agree with investing in yourself but as a bw when youre in your 20s or and in our 30s are skin isnt finishing growing or changing so i say no to botox,fillers ur skin isnt aging bad aslong ur not drinking,doing drugs or stress,and for myself i dont wanna mess up my face or run around looking ari flecher,cher, i having aged in my skin no wrinkles,no stress in my later 30s &40s i will age gracefully ,no bad acne ,water,dextox and exercising is the key and eating right ,and mayb going back vegan to keep the skin ,gut clean lose half of my weight,carbs is my enemy
I’m interested in Kybella or cool sculpting around my under chin/neck area. my only issue with hybella is the swelling and how long it takes to go away. I’m scared of that 😅 has anyone tried and what are your thoughts? I’m based in The northern burbs of Chicago, IL. I’ve also had laser hair removal on my face since I’ve had hormonal issues and it has been a life changer. Still have quite a bit more sessions left to go but it’s been a great journey so far. i’m just finishing up the swelling on my kybella. I did it a few years ago and the first time the swelling took about two weeks to go down. This was a touchup for me and it’s taken about a week but honestly it’s worth every penny and worth the swelling because you get such a nice jawline.

Love the transparency ‼️ I don’t have veneers but I have braces. I have three gaps because I needed the teeth taken out to make my smile perfect. I was insecure but I’m confident even though I have gaps in my mouth. It’s a process but I know it’s worth it 🥰

I think you look great, money well spent. I am a woman in my mid 40's and I have been doing botox for the last 5 years. I've worn lashes since 2010, I have my eyebrows microbladed, and got braces in highschool. I've done filler with mixed results. I will definitely give Alorna a try as I am a FNP-c too in occupational medicine though, and would love to support another black NP. That you for your good nature and honesty.
@@serenasessing2356 yes I did get my tear troughs filled, as my undereye area has a hollow appearance. It helped some, but didn't get the full affect that I was looking for. If you have hyperpigmentation in that area, then it might not meet your expectations. Make sure that you find someone that has alot of experience with tear trough filler, and go for a consult, be specific about what you hope to final result will be.

I definitely want braces or Invisalign, to see a dermatologist about my dark eye circles (which will include fillers), and an overall higher level of dermatological care (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, etc).

I got my breast done after having 3 kids because breast implants are removable. I also got the invisible braces and did some teeth whitening. That’s all. I’m absolutely terrified of fillers. I heard it migrates to other parts of the face making it look swollen eventually. I think Botox is cool tho but never got any…no veneers, fillers or BBL for me. I rather hit the gym. A lot of people don’t even need veneers just some good braces and some whitening that’s it. I rather do salicylic acid weekly, TCA peels every few months and glycolic acid some days. Although I’m not even consistent, my skin still looks good. Most people think I’m 21-22 even 18 sometimes but I’m about to be 33. I’ll do some Gua sha or face yoga before I ever mess with fillers 🙅🏾♀️… Ladies, less is more.
I got fillers. Nose done. Braces. Powder brows. Lashes and nails stay done. And whew. It was a major level up. Now I just need to get to a good weight, learn to style outfits and find a job that’s less stressful at the same or better pay lol

i’ve been thinking about getting dental bonding and retainers to perfect my smile. after 2 kids i would love a mommy makeover mostly for my breast and stomach area so lipo and breast lift/augmentation. not necessary but i would splurge on having some kind of procedure to get fuller brows but i saw too many negative feedback on tiktok so idk but the mommy makeover it’s only the money i don’t have… yet 🤭

I'm so happy I found this video. I have braces and it will still not fix the spaces. I had a operation when I was 15 I had to remove my wisdom teeth one of my jawline is stronger then the other. What if you have good teeth but want to fill out spaces in your mouth?? Are there veneers to put that won't shave down your teeth??
Thank you so much for your transparency in this video. I had a HydraFacial this year and can attest that it's one of the best I've had as far as the results are concerned. I'm not yet at a place where I can afford them have them monthly and that's ok. I will however try to have them quarterly or bi-yearly, but the bigger goal is to reach a place financially to where I can afford to get them more regularly.
I’m in the process of getting my veneers and they will be done in a week. I can’t wait to have them and regret not doing it sooner. I also had a boob job a few years ago. I have had a little bit of lip filler but now that my teeth will be nice I won’t be doing that anymore. I also get Botox two times a year
I want a natural gym body skin care treatments like the Korean head Spa treatments and veneers 😆 I would love to keep my gap but I don't think you could do that....
