@@JTruong3rd Imo it makes sense. The jedi supressed anakin's emotions and didn't allow for them to be expressed. And sadly, Obi Wan actually enforced these rules on anakin. He would repremand him whenever he showed a hint of emotion, whether it be good or bad. They hated each other early on and he was not a good teacher for him However, by TCW and ROTS, I like to believe that Kenobi realized his mistake because he seems much more chill and seems like a better teacher by then. But imo it was too late at that point.
Obiwan didn't follow the force sadly, he followed the council. He would have never taken anakin to the restricted section, he would have never been okay with anakins relationship.
Let's not forget that the reasons Anakin wasn't as open is because of a lack of trust in the council and even Obi-Wan. And that's all because of their actions and treatment of him along with Palp's manipulation and the lack of a proper father figure. Everyone was either afraid of him, didn't trust him or was out to use him.(Obi-Wan just didn't know how to raise a kid. He was too young to start training Anakin) No wonder he mirrored those traits as well as he did and felt so alone.
I do love how much you don't have Anakin turn into Darth Vader. His story was extremely tragic, and I'm glad you give him a happy ending, as do the rest of the heroes who especially deserve it. I love Anakin and Obi-Wan's bond so much.
Because with padme surviving anakin never would’ve fallen. Anakin fell because he thought he had no choice so he could save the one he loves. If anakin could’ve been open about it then he could’ve learned either how to heal or how to tell they were either false visions from palpatine or a warning from the force. Although for cannon I do believe anakin had to destroy the Jedi and sith to bring balance to the force
I love a happy ending. But damn. If you think about it, all the clones who got their chips out after the fact, think about the PTSD they would have given what they've done.
I do find the stories where Yoda is killed during Order 66 to be quite interesting and more entertaining. It leads to the idea of how much Anakin and Obi-wan had to learn in order to help lead such a massive rebellion as the quintessential figureheads of the movement. Also I love the parallels between the rebellions march on Palpatine’s palace and Order 66, each were about revenge. This has got to be one of the more interesting clone rebellion-like stories that I’ve seen from any what ifs that touched up on it.
I will never understand why Yoda after seeing Dooku using force lighting doesn't teach Jedi knights and/or Masters. How to use his force lightning block skill. Since that is what makes dark side users so dangerous. Is it a power level issue? Is it a species issue? And besides the obvious '' Oh George Lucas didn't want it'' argument. I don't know?
That and you'd have to have someone willing and able to tap into the dark side enough to use force lightning or the light side variant of force lightning
There was no one to practice it against in a controlled environment within the Jedi Order, especially since the only Jedi at the time that knew Electric Judgement (the "not dark" version of Force Lightning, and no, I will not call a force power that still requires a strong emotion to use a "light side" power) was Plo Koon and Electric Judgement itself was a forbidden force power.

wouldnt it have made more sense for the councel to send Kit Fisto to Utapau in place of Obi Wan? Mace didnt want to fight Gevious due to Grevious's ability to effectively learn and counter the different saber forms with form 1 being the only exception.
Yeah it also doesn’t really make sense for the temple to fall that quickly without Vader there. I mean Sin Drallig and Shaak Ti would’ve still been there.
I heard somewhere Mace Windoo feared fighting the General. Grevious because the cyborg could instantly analyze and copy any light saber technique he sees.
I loved it. Genius, pure bloody genius. Dude you gotta do a part 2. Perhaps an imprisoned dark lord of the sith carbonite, cryogenics or time dilation prison cell. This one was awesome!!! Especially at the part in the end, where Anakin talks about the reelection campaign for Padme and thanking Obi-wan for watching the twins while they were away. There was a fan art of something very similar, but it was Obi-wan having a dream turned nightmare about Anakin and it was awesome. This was so similar it gave me chills!!! Love it and all your content, keep up the good work!

I love this, excellent retell. It's sad that Anakin didn't trust Obi Wan enough due to in both Anakin afraid Obi Wan would criticize and report him. Sad that Obi Wan never told Anakin how much he loved him and he would help Anakin with anything, one who feels first then uses a little logic, another who uses logic first and then uses a little emotion. Just funny how 5 minutes could have changed everything

Honestly, the only thing I think would happen if he executed Order 66 without letting himself be injured as he was, or letting them attack him first, would result disastrously for him. No one would believe the Jedi were traitors without that, and it would be a Civil War. This is a very interesting what if regardless tho.

What if the Star Forge had not been destroyed at the end of KOTOR but instead seized and hidden by the Jedi? This one would take a LOT of work to write, I think, due to the amount of time that goes by since that game's time period but it might have made all the difference in basically any war that involved the Jedi to any notable extent. But given that it was made by Dark Force users it also has the potential to corrupt anyone that uses it. Anyone not aware of that and desperate for reinforcements in a war might find their mindset twisted over time by it. It probably would be a secret hidden by masters of The Council. If one of them were to fall to the dark they could steal a copy of its blueprints or have it re-create portions of itself over time to give him/her/it a smaller (and slower production) but more easily concealed version of it. Imagine Palpitine or his master got hold of it. A larger and more dangerous droid army could be unleased with seemingly endless numbers. Only the Jedi Council would recognize the 'new' droids for what they were, but how do they explain to The Senate that they KNEW about a device that could produce this army....and they did nothing about it?
The jedi temple being used as the palace of Darth sideous foys well especially when the remaining jedi and clone army and rebel soldiers march on the temple in a parallel to anakin and the 501th March pn rhe jedi temple.
Cool story I enjoyed it emensly. But one point in alot of the what if's going around on RU-vid. The jedi don't tell the other Council members scattered around the galaxy about sidious being palpatine. Also not telling ahsoka tano the truth not to mention not warning the jedi knights and their padawans was just bad strategy. Taking a few hours to prepare for the coming storm would be the more prudent thing to do than rushing in going for the kill just as sidious planned. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.

Short answer: We wouldn’t have just about the greatest villain in history. I was 12 years old in 77. I can still distinctly remember how I felt when I first saw Vader. If you add the tragic twist that Anakin did what he did for Padme, it just gets better.
If Anakin told the truth, Yoda, Mace, and Obi Wan would have forgiven him, or at least removed Anakin from The Jedi Order, but he wanted a family anyway. The Jedi Council would have wanted to train Luke and Leia though. My guess Anakin would have turned on The Jedi for not being able to have a family and be on the council. "The Jedi want my children!" He would have still saved Palpatine, and killed Padme.
I'm okay with you making some leaps, and stretching things. Given Canon events, very little of this would have happened. I'm happy to ignore it though. There is one glaring issue.... Palpatine would not under any circumstance have commanded the execution of order 66. It was never a matter of him just getting around to it. He was waiting for two things. 1. Anakin to join him. That doesn't happen in his scenario, so it can be ignored. 2. He had to force the jedi into a situation where it appeared they were trying to assassinate him for no reason. He needed the jedi to slip up so he could legally use order 66. If he did it like in this tory, he would have been removed from office and imprisoned. The senate would have canceled the order too. To use executive orders, you either need to be the chancellor, or there needs to be a majority vote in the senate. Papa Palps had no legitimate reason, nor any evidence to present, to allow him to execute order 66 and actually get away with it. Also, Mace Windu would never gave been sent to fight Grievous. It may be legends, but Mace fought him once using Vapad, or however you spell that. Grievous started to mimic to technique. Mace refused to fight him ever again, in case grievous mastered Vappad and used it agaisnt the jedi. He couldn't use it correctly, as he was not force sensitive, but he still would be a major issue. Legends doesn't necessarily mean non-canon. It used to be Canon, it just lost its official status. Legends really means semi-canon. You can take it to br legit unless official media contradicts and retcons it. Much of legends, like the story of revan and the old republic history became Canon again. Much of the history, like the mandalorian wars, led by revan, were recanonized with the rebels show. Revan himself was hinted at being Canon after the last jedi, and made official with rise of Skywalker. Though there were plans to make him Canon with the clone wars, in an unfinished episode. In the last jedi graphic dictionary, it is shown that Luke was in possession of a "Jedi Crusader's" lightsaber crystal. The only two notable Jedi Crusaders, from the mandalorian wars, were Revan and Malak. Maybe Meetra Surik too. The crystal would have had to belong to one of them. There's no reason Luke would have had that crystal if it was jut some dude's who happened to fight in the crusades. It only makes sense to be Revan's. In rise of Skywalker, all of Palpatine ships on exogul had their own names. Each fleet was named after a notable dark lord of the sith. For example, one if the Canon names was Revan. That shitty movie got one thing right. It made Revan officially Canon again. His entire story isn't officially Canon, just the loose idea of the story. Specific details aren't technically Canon. But until stated otherwise, it's perfectly safe to say those events are considered Canon. Revan is Canon. You gotta stop calling him a Legends character. He is Canon. Anytime revan comes up you specify that he's only Legends. That's not true. Jesus.
Do one where Obi wan and Yoda team up on Anakin on Mustafar, take him alive, turn him back for a while, get Ashoka back, and then team on Palps. Then afterward, Anakin accepts execution by 501st firing squad ie Rex
Very unlikely Yoda would have been in a different place. And Mace windu would have killed Grevious much sooner. He wouldn't have been climbing up the wall
Probably the best part of this fan fiction is that Mace Windu gets killed. One of the things I really hated about revenge of the sith is Mace Windu. Well actually I didn't like the guy the entire prequel series. He was arrogant and pretentious. It's one thing to arrest Palpatine but then to decide on his own that he needs to execute him without a trial? That's what pushes the entire Jedi council to the dark side. And it's what leads to Anakin's downfall. Now the rest of the story with Anakin vowing to be Palpatine servant in a weird way of saving Padme from death in childbirth makes no freaking sense. But this is the problem with George Lucas. He does not understand character motivation. He cannot write realistic dialogue because he just doesn't understand people. He gets worlds right. Just not the people in it. Anakin should have turned to the dark side solely out of his greed for power. Then when he wakes up the deformed Darth Vader and learns that Padme is dead he won't lose motivation to continue being evil. I mean after all if he's doing all this to save her life and she's dead, then there's nothing to fight for! This is the biggest plot hole in history. I know people try to wreck on it and say he was exploring the dark powers to resurrect her but that's bullshit. There's absolutely no evidence he's done anything of the sort in the movies. She was an unfortunate collateral damage to his ambition. And that's how it should have remained.
