I read a fanfic where Ash caught latios and latias...it was epic, it's called "master of legendaries"

Love the Eon Duo. Latios is my favorite legendary, and I liked how the two were portrayed in Pokemon Heroes

This is great when I’m working because you’re normally open in another tab anyway and I’m not watching the animations (although I do enjoy them if RU-vid is open on my screen!)

For the record, in case people were unaware, the timeline placement Ronin gives in this what if is *way* earlier than in canon. In canon, the movie was right before Episode 257(specifically it can be anywhere between 247 and 257, but the movie released right before 257), the episode where Ash got the Larvitar egg, which was a couple episodes before the Silver Conference. Can definitely understand moving it earlier in the timeline.

Although I do prefer your regular format I do like this new format idea for mimi what ifs. If Ash did catch Latias Professor Oak would be freaking out since at this point Oak is involved with Ash then the later series. A Bayleef and Latias rivalry for Ash's affection, and Charizard "trying" to gain Latias one is hilarious the other is even hilarious. 😆 Yeah makes sense to me about Lance knowing about Latias been a Dragon Master and all. I'm happy Ash made it to the top 4, but down side is he neglected in training his newer Pokémon hopefully he fixes that in the Hoenn Region. Anyways a really good start to this new mimi series, and will check out the next part.

Well, with the new announcements, this might become a reality... even though Ash won't use her, still pretty hype.

I remember seeing a what if a while back that involved Ash catching Latias that cause a domino effect that basically caused Ash to go off the rails. This though feels a more realistic outcome with Ash being Over reliant on certain Pokémon. I always liked the idea of Ash catching this Latias but I think that it wasn’t the right moment to catch a legendary. Maybe Unova would have been better timing for Ash. Considering Hoenn Ash had an ego and would again rely on it to much. And Sinnoh was more Infernapes story then anyone else’s. Same with Kalos with Greninja.

This was a good one, the only thing I might have changed is that Brock would probably have ash pay even more attention to his pokemon because he has a legendary and that might have made ash realize he should balance his teams training. That said I really like how you did this and can't wait for more.

I got one, what if Ash caught Solgaleo? It would change the Sun and Moon story + Journeys would be a lot more interesting to know he has something that can go toe-to-toe with Eternatus

A small flaw in this story, Brock had Crobat in pokemon heroes

How about this for a what if. What if Ash never traveled with Brock and Misty. Like what if Ash traveled Kanto alone. Also great video cant wait for the next one.

I like this story because I love the idea of Ash having Latias. I think that idea is so cool I really love Latias and it's one of my favorite dragon types next to Flygon, Latios and Dragonite. I miss you using the anime pictures for the videos but it will take a while for me to get used to the new format but I like the what ifs being shorter because l like short videos more than long videos.

Bayleef isn't going to be happy with another competitor for Ash's heart. I wonder if you'll use Latias ability to turn into a human and become invisible? Those are usually neglected in what ifs involving it that I think has some very interesting story potential. Also it would be pretty hilarious for Latias appearing as the girl to confuse people later on for her traveling with Ash. No way is he losing in the Jhoto finals this time with two with a type advantage. Edit: Hmm...A bit disappointed this isn't going to become a full fleshed out scenario. Looks like I was off on my predictions. I can understand Latias not being an experienced battler so it would need training to build up some moves. I guess I can see what you mean on Ash's pokemon being neglected since in canon there weren't a lot of development for some and more would make it worse. Latias seemed to become pretty mid in terms of results in this scenario sadly, seems stats can't make up for experience. Also, sad we didn't get funny human form confusion moments.

I like the Pokemon interaction voice in this what if. Hopefully you do more of that 👍

Its very interesting about :what ifs:" like catching latias or winning the sinnoh league is because according to original leaked scripts and ideas, that those 2 things could have actually happened.

I think Only Latias and Latios can only share sight with each other, do to both sharing a special connection.

But a what if… Ash started with clefairy (as a fairy type) than a pikachu… What if he just discovered that it’s a fairy in gen kalos, as it is, (although it was imune to dragons, and weak to poison and stuff, they all thought it was a normal type as it was)

Catching noctowel wasn’t just for a flying… it was a flyer and a psychic right? No? Oh… 😂 But I think it would be good to have it on the team, and rotate the team, as he did in unova… Bay and latias, would have a rivalary and it would end in a meagnium and latias… bay would evolve to get stronger than latias. And: all his Pokémon would get stronger inspired by Bay.. Doing a latias ark in johto, would open numerous possibilities to ash capture other legends and mythicals Bay had a quick claw? Btw, I think giving so much care/love to latias isn’t the best… But What if after lance appears in johto, what if after that he would train ash in dragons ways… He has charizard in the back, oh wait… And later got many dragons too. More dragons than fairies…

Enjoy these what ifs of yours! Here's one I think you can pull off, if you find the time; What if Gary never retired as a Pokemon Trainer? Basically, what if Gary continued on as a Pokemon trainer into the other regions with Ash?

I don't think battle experience would make as big of a deal as you think because it's not loke hoothoot was some veteran either. Phanpy was a literal infant and ended up doing just fine so I just don't see it as being as big of an issue as you seem to

I don’t agree with how you flat out ignored corsolas presence in the movie considering that Misty didn’t catch her corsola until their adventures in the world Islands considering and that they would have to trace to alto mare by boat I think in the world Islands seems the best place to place those events.

Um each “old pokemon” that has been shown has shown high lvls up strength such as Tracy Scyther or oldman Stoutland its just since they are normal pokemon age weakened there bodies

Pretty disappointed with how much poor bayleef and the rest get sidelined and then left behind not to say it’s a bad what if scenario I’m just disappointed by the events that happened in it your really good at crafting these stories though
