San Diego possiblity wins Superbowls XLI, XLII and XLIV (Three best seasons for the OTL Chargers). Ryan Leaf may leave sometime in the early 2010s for Seattle to add to the Manning parallel. Winning superbowl XLVIII and maybe even XLIX. Russell Wilson may end up in Philadelphia instead of Seattle. But may end up doing worse after Superbowl LII due to being on worse teams and depending on how early Ryan Leaf joins Seattle. Andy Reed may not leave Philadelphia for Kansas City because of Russell Wilson. Possiblity giving the 49ers an extra ring as they would most likely be facing the Texans or Titans in Superbowl LIV. Of course the Chargers don't leave San Diego and the Rams other tenant in Los Angeles might be the Raiders or the NFL may consider expansion to 36 teams. With 2nd teams proposed in Los Angeles and the Bay are and teams in London, Mexico City, San Antonio, Toronto,St.Louis, Austin and Portland being considered. To fill the other 2 positions. Hypothetically we have 49ers: 6 Superbowls Patriots: 4 Superbowl Chargers: 3 Superbowls Giants: 3 Superbowls Seahawks: 2 Superbowls Colts: 1 Superbowl Chiefs: 1 Super Bowl Saints: 0 Superbowls And Ryan Leaf having 4 Rings, equaling Tom Brady incuilding a win over him and GOAT talk being very serious. Having won 4 out 8 superbowls between 2006 and 2014.

All three are very good I would be interested in watching the second one for sure though.

Well obvious immediate effect of #1 is that the Seahawks would have beaten the Patriots in that Super Bowl. How teams would adjust after that would be the more interesting question. #3 would have been bad for the Broncos, good for the Colts. I think Manning had one more Super Bowl ring in him regardless of where he played, and would likely have taken the Colts to another Super Bowl win. How the Broncos adjust I'm not sure, but their defense was improving, with a decent quarterback they would get good eventually overall.

Bill Belichick stays with the team and steadily builds them up possibly being a superbowl calibre team sometime in the 90s or early 2000s. But I don't see them winning the big game. He may move on to coaching towards the New York Giants or New England Patriots once the head coaching job opens and histroy may be more or less the same. For Baltimore, the city keeps its CFL team, the Stallions and the CFL itself expands into 3 other cities in the US in the 2000s. (Most likely Los Angeles, Milwaukee and Orlando). Baltimore may get teams in the XFL and AAF if they still exist considering Canadian football is more viable in the US. More US cities may also have Canadian football teams as the league may expand further in the 2010s.

Dolphins Seahawks and Chiefs were all in the mix but Manning never called back. i guarantee you it wasnt texans though. they had matt schaub when matt schaub was good they didnt need a qb

Based on where Manning himself wanted to go, among teams that wanted him, it was likely between the Broncos and the Cardinals as his first two choices. Other teams may have wanted him, but they weren't high on HIS list. 49ers were at best his 3rd or 4th choice (Titans being kind of a "home team" to him may have put that in his mind as above the 49ers). I'd have to agree with this video that if the Broncos didn't need a quarterback, Manning would have most likely signed with the Cardinals. It would come down to who could make the best offer and what Manning himself wanted to do, and Arizona probably had the edge there.

+LeCarnage Don't discount the morale factor of the home city's fan base. Cleveland fans having an actual victory would have likely made the Browns good for longer. It also would make it likely they could have made better staff decisions and the owner would be more willing to invest in the team more heavily.

+howard baxter In all likelihood when they wanted to expand, Baltimore would still get a team, as it was the most lucrative market among cities without an NFL team at the time. Probably would still be called the Ravens too. It would be a whole new team, and it would be interesting in how this would affect that year's draft. Sorry to Baltimore fans, but not being a ready made team means they'd take a while to get particularly good, but with some good staff and draft picks they could be a contender eventually. Would make a massive difference in drafts though because of who would be available to other teams.

As a Vikings fan, he would’ve done a lot better in Cleveland then Minnesota. The Browns Offense with Josh Gordon, Joe Thomas and that O-Line would’ve been a better supporting cast than Minnesota’s considering how bad our offensive line was.

Manning was past his prime but he was still really good, and better than Newton at the time. But Newton still has a lot of future potential. (BTW Manning had better passing stats precisely because he couldn't run; if all you can be good at is passing, you do a lot of it, and get really good at it.)

Von Miller and Demarcus Ware were partners in crime and the Broncos' main big name blitzers and sack machines. They wouldn't have beaten the New England Patriots in the 2015 conference championship without Von Miller. Defensive Super Bowl MVP > Offensive league MVP. Defenses win championships.
