To be honest, I feel like once Foeslayer was captured that really was the point of no return for Darkstalker's sanity slippage. She really was the only person who could actually get through to him, something even Clearsight couldn't do by the end.

What if the rainwings stayed dangerous and didnt turns into pacifists?

idea for a future what if: What if Qibli accepted Darkstalker's offer and became an animus, but he kinda made it so that he could always restart (but keep his animus magic) and go back to any point in his life, and then kinda went insane?

What if Winter had Qibli’s personality and Moon went for him? What if the DoD’s got caught and taken to the Mud Kingdom instead of the Sky Palace? What if icicle and Winter switched roles and personalities? What is Sora’s bomb didn’t go off? What if Crane never died? What did you think? 😉

I’m so glad you’re back, Cyprus! It was such a great surprise to see that you posted. This is a genius idea, and it seems like a better solution, if Darkstalker could get over his wish to rule the world, haha. I think an entire story on this would turn out AMAZING

I feel so bad for Cleasight. This poor woman was entirely alone, went back to her toxic ex, and would likely be manipulated due to her bad mental state. Sunstreak too, imagine your wife leaving to who knows where and coming back with a new husband, despite you already having a family with her. I really want to see his reaction. #JusticeforSunstreak

I love this! Darkstalker is my favorite character, and I love him, and I so badly want see a good version of Darkstalker and one that redeems himself. And I ship Darkstalker and Clearsight, so seeing them get together would be great. A lot of people seemed to think that I believe Darkstalker was perfect but I know he was flawed and that he did a lot of things wrong but I genuinely believe that at the core of who Darkstalker was he genuinely just wanted the people he cared about to be happy and for his tribe to be safe. That's why I can't really say he's evil. He was misguided and abused, and even the people he loved didn't support him in healthy ways. Rather than trying to convince him to achieve his desires and a healthy or positive way, they just told him he was wrong for wanting what he did. Maybe he could fall in love with a reincarnation of Clearsight after he's redeemed himself for what he's done. I can't wait to see where you take this afterward. Maybe you could make a what if Darkstalker never turned into a villain.

Darksalking living on Pentalla is facinating. In a good AU he would enchant all dragons to be imune to the Breath of Evil taking over their mind. Or, in a dark AU, he uses it instead to take over. Only his Animus magic makes the change perfect.

I would imagine that nightwings would rule alongside the hivewings until Queen Wasp overthrows them and banishes them to the northern west part of pantala or are sent into dungeons to work with the flamesilks. Or Darkstalker would slowly grow jealous of Sunstreak and attempt to kill him and/or Clearsights dragonets as he spirals into madness over jealousy and Clearsight eventually has to flee Pantala for help from Phyrria. Also a few weeks ago Cyprus, I had this crazy shower thought and it was driving me and all of my work bffs crazy! Can you do a video of it? Here it is: What would happen if hivewings hatched their eggs underneath moonlight?

I can't wait to see the end scene of this. But I hope Darkstalker stays good in this one and gets to help him with a happy life with his love. And I recently It came up with a similar idea at work whose I convinced his darkstone could to go with her to Pantala shortly after meeting Fathom. The two of them get to live a happy life together on the new continent. Clearsight and Darkstalker have their dragonets together who, in turn, create hivewings. I've planned to get some hard commissions and make a story out of this because this would affect all three arcs in big ways.

What if Whiteout was born under the three moons?

I really enjoyed that one! Here are a few more suggestions: 1. What if Starflight grew up on with the other night wings (to complete the set of those stories) 2. What if Luna or Blue was not a flamesilk 3 what if Icicle became Queen of the ice wings 4. What if tsunami battles Coral for the throne 5. What if Fathom went to Pantala instead of clearsite

I'm pretty sure that leafspeak is some sort of magic, and after having his own magic used against him to put him to sleep, Darkstalker is probably going to be utterly paranoid. So by the time they get to the BoE, Darky will mostlikeky already have made himself immune to literally all magic except spells he himself cast. Hell, he might invent animus programming as a means of automatically activating or de-activaring offensive and defensive spells according to the situation he's in, so that he'll never be caught off-guard ever again. In other words, Cottonmouth is probably going to get eaten, and not in the "haha, the plant is inside you, you're now my puppet"-kind of way, but in the old-school "crippled human vs eldritch paranoid scizophrenic house-sized obligate carnivore "-way. On the plus side, Freedom just might get a second chance at life if Darkstalker can restore her body. I think she deserves that.

It's been a while since I've visited the WoF community, but it feels SO good to see a what if like this! Honestly, I think there are three or so possibilities that can stem from this. Since DarkStalker's motive for becoming king was for a "better future" I don't think he'd try being king of the Pantalans because he has what he wants: A happy future for him and ClearSight (unless some petty queen decides to use him, then idk. I think he'd just- shoo her off or something). However! Here's some ideas that I think could've happened: 1. This one's probably the most far fetched, but what if he lets go of his immortality? What I mean is, what if ClearSight convinces him to let go of his invulnerability so they can grow old and die together? Further down the line, they could be regarded as the lover deities. 2. They both stay immortal. It's a bit of a bumpier road, but they stay immortal, acting like ancient protectors of their descendants. There is a possibility that everything goes well, but there's also a chance that one of them will get restless. DarkStalker could become bored and try to toy with Pantala, and ClearSight could snap under the pressure of being constantly demanded to see the future (which could cause DarkStalker to snap at the Pantalans, assuming he doesn't change. Though, I do think over a millennia of living, he would change at least some. And before you comment he didn't change in the books, please remember he was asleep. It's like expecting an entire character arch to happen after a long nap.) 3. DarkStalker stays immortal without ClearSight. This I think can go into three possibilities: 3a. He goes into a depression and goes into hiding, becoming a mere legend as he sulks for eternity. 3b. He goes mad, trying to bring back ClearSight in a fit of grief. 3c. He learns to move on, maybe finding another mate. However, I think this one would most likely tie in before or after the other two, either as a story about handling grief or a tragedy where he realizes he can never find another dragon like Clearsight and that he's now forever alone. Anyways, those are just some ideas. If you read this far, thank you! I know it was long so I appreciate whoever took the time to read it! Also, before you comment, please take with a grain of salt that I wrote this thirty minutes after waking up, mildly dehydrated with a very slight headache. Thank you for reading! What if Idea: What if Humanity from Earth somehow visited the wings of fire world, like with modern technology? Or something along the lines of if the scorching failed, with humans remaining the dominant race of Pyrrhia.

What if suggestion:OKAY, so, in chapter 4 of dragonslayer wren and sky find the sky hole and the DOD. What if, wren and sky, like, became friends with the dod? Im picturing like wren just saying like "hey whats up?" To the dragonets and then they are confused and then wren and sky just like hang out with them a lot. Also, wren would still go to the indestructible city and when the dod escape wren and sky are out
