Immediately after Sidious dies and sees his two apprentices killing eachother through his force spirit, he looks down and says “oh I am so proud of you two!”
"Anakin wins by doing absolutely nothing"" I do feel like Dooku may have flipped back after that point like how you mentioned in one of the paths you thought about. But this story was good and interesting too!
Now this was an absolute masterclass of a fanfiction. Completely caught me off guard there at the beginning but i absolutely loved how this played out. Maul really was on demon time.
Love the story. The sith eating themselves alive is the way. I love how anakin just a regular person it was a good call. Great story. Congrats all winners.
It would have been cool if Anakin became a pod racing champion on Malastare under an assumed name. I think adding that to his life would have made him happiest.
What if Talzin trained Maul to be her successor on Dathomir and Sidious never kidnapped him from her nor that world and in turn Maul would train Savage as his successor and Savage would train Feral as his and so on?
What if Valkorion kept the Eternal Empire hidden till the Clone Wars and the Eternal Family somehow was kept alive? Apart from Anakin and maybe Palpatine I can’t see many being able to withstand them.
Interesting concept. Almost makes it seem like the Jedi and Sith are the problem with the galaxy and that the only way balance was ever possible was for both of them to go. Anakin even got a happy ending with his mom being freed. And hallelujah! Ahsoka wasn’t killed off in this one…. As far as we know.
Read the fanfic called The Decline and Fall of the Jedi Order on AO3. It is about the Jedi dying in the Revanite erra and takes a different look at the history of the Jedi.
An idea i remember seeing someone else post this week: What if Obi-Wan turned Dooku back to the light? Also, one that came about chatting back and forth in the comments section with another fellow: What if Dooku stayed in the Jedi Order and became Grand Master?
The irony in the ending is that Anakin, gets life with padme and he rules the galaxy, while living in peace everything he’s ever wanted, without Jedi and Sith. That’s best thing to happen was obi wan not winning the fight and surviving the crash on naboo
he wasnt, yoda was better, also yes maul was likely on par with jedi dooku, not to mention the fact dooku was unbalanced while maul was molded by the darkside
@@bradleysaunders1730 Yoda was stronger in the force, but as a pure duelist, Dooku was unparalleled. Maul's force power and dueling prowess was not close to Dooku's.
@@octaviusmigtonius2965nah wrong Yoda was a superior duelist to Doku. Otherwise doku wouldn’t have fled on geonosis. And for maul you have to take in consideration that Mauls force potential was really really high before being cut in half. Sidious plant for him to be the one Vader was in the empire before he knew of anakin. So stronger Maul would beat Dooku
@@nils_5854In Canon that was in potential Maul before becoming a metal halfed individual thanks to Obi Wan had a count that was higher then Talzins own and debatebly Sidious own before Mauls failure Sidious was having Dooku work under himself but not as a apprentice more like a dark acolyte he did not get promoted to his new apprentice though until after Maul made a huge error on Naboo even if still alive and not in a high profiled kind of prison Maul was too crippled up to the point where only Dathomirian Magics could fix him which Sids did not have access to nor would Talzin help him so he had to rely on Dooku until Anakin was ready to be turned or if not Anakin then his children or if not them then Rey Dookus current power level even around TPM was higher then Mauls his potency wasn't but in that time span Dooku was the superior of the two with force powers while Maul still needed more training before he surpassed Dooku be it before he was a sith and after note that even after Maul got his potential, body, mind, and soul fixed by Talzin and her Dathomir magics he was said to not be as powerful as Dooku nor Vader but that he stood among them due to his will yeah.
Yes! A version of the idea I posted a couple of times the last week or so has been made as a What if video... prayer works! But yeah, I couldn't be happier to see this thing made and get to see Star Wars Galaxys take on an idea I've been hoping might be a video someday... made my day.
Great news I am now a channel member and here are three What If stories. What If Obi Wan didn’t lose his lightsaber during his fight with Grievous. What If Obi Wan and Yoda fought Plapatine. What If Obi Wan and Yoda fought Anakin.
One of the best stories I've heard in a long time definitely don't think dooku would let maul live he would take him down with him also Anakin and shmi living a happy peaceful life That's what I like to hear❤
What if kit fisto survived and trained the skywalker twins What if domino squad survived the richie moon What if cutup and heavy lived What if saw gerrera died insted Stela What if asoka was older than anakin and trained him What if ahsoka secretly rejoined the jedi order What if chopper was the sith lord
I loved this story. Always wanted to know how Maul would have been like if he didn’t get cut in half. Congratulations to the winners as well. Day 83 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
I truly must see.I love the What if This is one of the best that you've done I have to admit. I did not say coming. I truly must say this episode was brilliant.
I'm so glad that Dooku wasn't killed off immediately. Many what if stories of Maul surviving & killing the jedi on Naboo lead up to Dooku dying, but him living makes more sense as his wealth & position in politics are what got the Separatists movement going.
Honestly I think that Maul should’ve been Tyranus and should have survived The Phantom Menace. I don’t know how it would have worked with Obi Wan not dying, and not defeating Maul, but Dooku was a horrible character. How could he have known about the Rule of Two, and how Sidious was protecting Anakin to be his next apprentice and not realized that he was going to die as part of Anakin’s Dark Side journey. It just didn’t make sense to me. Dooku only realized it when Sidious gave Anakin the order to "Do it." What an idiot that he didn’t realize he was being played for a fool the whole time, and believed a Sith Lord and politician wasn’t lying? Bruh!
It is so goofy that the Sith are basically like: "I need a strong apprentice." "He's too strong now. Gonna need to get rid of him." There's no way they'd be able to survive like that. It'd be more interesting if the Sith actually cared about each other. Imagine if Sidious despised Obi-wan for killing Maul in a similar way that Anakin would've hated Maul if he had killed Ahsoka. If the Sith were actually more emotionally charged than the Jedi with more than just anger and hatred.
Heck yes! I want to see a what if with this premise... Like what if the dark side didn't inevitably lead to evil, but nor was the light side good, I mean, just look at the possibility that there is just the force, no true light or dark. Each, the light and the dark, having the potential to do good and evil... I'd argue, for example, that Darth Nihilus and Sideous weren't mere darksiders or Sith. They were something far removed and far worse...
That's kind of something Darth Plagueis understood, he'd planned to rule alongside Palpatine as equals because he believed the rule of two had served its purpose, but Palps wanted it all for himself, that and Palps wasn't all that conventional himself, he never had any intention of letting his apprentices surpass him where past Sith Masters were generally hoping their apprentices would eventually prove superior. Sidious though cared little for the rule of two, for him, it was the rule of one. As for Sith caring about eachother, that's just fundamentally impossible, the very nature of the Sith is about staining the height of power and domination, love and family is worthless to them.
@dreadrath , 'love, and family are worthless to the Sith'. Too bad because it would make for a greyer, as opposed to black and white, Star Wars universe if the Sith philosophy included something like embracing true, passionate love and emotional attatchments alongside negative passions like anger, hate, and ambition... it would make good people falling to the darkside as Anakin did more believable and tragic. It would also turn the conflict between the - ideally - emotionless and passionless Jedi Order and the Sith into something more nuanced and well, interesting, being not so clearly good vs. evil... and here's a what if that could be interesting: the Jedi are an adoptive organization. Being thier opposite, what if the Sith were dynastic...
Wow, that one was dark, but it was a cool one. That was the reason why the Sith fall to their own desire for power will consume them and the Dark Side is bad.
What If The Entire Jedi Council Discover Sidious And Plagueis In The Phantom Menace, Members Of he Council During Episode 1 (32 ABY) Are Adí Gallia, Eeth Koth, Even Piell, Saesee Tiin, Oppo Rancisis, Kí-Adí Mundi, Plo-Koon, Yaddle, Yarael Poof, Yoda, Mace Windu And Depa Billaba The Story Is In The Night When Plagueis Was Killed In The Original Story At His Apartment
What if Kirak Infil'a had received a vision of order 66 and decided to go to Jedi, Temple to warn them, but he arrived as Anakin and the 501 are attacking the Jedi Temple, who is Kirak Infil'a you may ask Kirak Infil'a was a male Jedi Master who was active between the High Republic Era and the final years of the Galactic Republic. While he was active with them, his only purpose became fighting. Infil' specialized in lightsaber combat during his time as an active member of the Jedi Order. At some point in his career, as a Jedi, he chose to take the Barash Vow, which forbid him from interacting in anyway, with the Jedi order. He hoped living alone inside the Force would help him find his true path. To do this, he relocated to the Jedi monastery on the river moon of Al'doleem. There, he continued to train with the monastery's Jedi training droid, Arex. Because he was not an active member of the Jedi Order during Order 66, Infil'a escaped execution.
Excellent video, I loved the satisfying way you got Anakin out of the picture. Its always so frustrating to see him (rightly so, as the chosen one) derail these what ifs that should focus on other characters. Also, What if Dooku, when ordered by Sidious to discard and eliminate Ventress, chose to side with Ventress and betray Sidious?
wait a min, it just kicked in, who really is the chosen one in your story?? I know: The Master Storyteller who eliminated The Jedi/Sith rule/influence, and brought a new empire into being...You are Awesome! what's meant to be will always find away=Absolute Chosen Genius
The Star Wars Galaxy when can we see these what if that I told you that I don’t need to remind you me, or others, but this one in particular, what if Anakin Skywalker was trained by the force itself, his real and true creator and father from birth the event still play out as we know and work out in the original timeline but with Anakin‘s new powers abilities, he saves qui gon his mother is with Padme and the rest. I leave it to you.👍😉
Congratulations to the winners and to The Star Wars Galaxy for that big 50k subscriber milestone. So, what if the Jedi who went to arrest Palpatine instead got his body double? And one more, what if Jengo was force sensitive and was chosen for the cloning program in part because of it?
My thought is that they wanted to do a cover up essentially, also Maul killed a jedi before the prequels but wasnt found so it could be similar to that as well. They could also dispose of the bodies so they couldnt find the saber marks on them. Or some jedi left the order and went on their own, then they wouldnt even be on the Jedis radar. Also we know that Darth Tenebrous and Plagueis are alive in this time Plagueis would be around 15 at the time, didnt Tenebrous have a couple of apprentices as well? Darth Venamis I think? Also when Kiadi Mundi says that "they havent been seen for a millennia", Yoda didnt say anything and looked at Mace like they knew something was up or they had a secret. Theres a million different ways to kill jedi without the order really caring that much, just look at sifo dyas, he died and no one really cared or even looked into it
Love this maul easily my favorite dark side user the torment, the anger, the… revenge. Everything and if he could harness night sister magic and his potential he could beat everyone. Maybe beside full potential anakin. There’s a reason Dooku got influenced by night sister magic and why palpy was afraid of mother talsen. It’s sith necromancy in a way and over time stuff was lost and palpy could only get some of that. The night sister however do not play.
I like the second possibility. Anakin and Ahsoka on the run from the Republic, with both Palpatine and the Jedi looking for them... where might they end up on such an adventure? Besides, jailbreaking an innocent, beloved friend facing the possibility of the death penalty is something that I could see Anakin impulsively doing if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning...
what if palpatine told the senate he was sidious when he was elected (not illegal by the time of the prequels) what if gungi stayed with the bad batch what if caleb joined the bad batch when his master died (could coincide with gungi wanting to stay with them) what if caleb survived the fire on lothal what if anakin blocked windu’s strike instead of cutting off his hand what if ahsoka got to coruscant with maul before mace windu left for the chancellors office
