“Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.” ― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
JustForComments I hope that the 1/3 is a kitten and not just 1/3 of a Persian you still keep around, while I doubt, that a cat with only 1/3 of itself remaining is still alive...I would be very disturbed (not as much as Trump actually being the top republican candidat, but still very disturbed).
This was so goddamned funny for a while. When he rode down the escalator to announce his campaign, that was funny. Watching serious-but-slimy Republican candidates fold one by one, that was damned funny. Watching Trump actually win the nomination accompanying the utter train-wreck that was the GOP "convention" in 2016, that was fucking hilarious. Tears were streaming down my eyes I was laughing so hard. I could swear I was watching a political party implode in real time right before my eyes. I'm trying to remember exactly when it stopped being funny. It was around the time that Clinton's numbers started falling and his started rising. First it was a sure thing that she would win by a landslide. She had a nearly 10 point lead right after the convention. As the weeks passed, it became very likely she would win. Then it became probable she would win. Then it was neck-n-neck but hey, as long as the "firewall" in Pennsylvania holds, we still got this...
Michael Davaz exactly what I said when I saw this. Now I say it to you like, "oh you poor, sweet, naive people from 9 months ago... You had no idea what he had in store..."
You are children of the times when people didn't vote in candidates with no experience. You've never known anything else. But now, Trump truly is coming.
Yes, and other people did too. A lot of other folks *(mainly Democrats)* thought Donald Trup was pranking them. In November you and those folks will be surprised. US Courts & The British people believe Trump is not a prank just read any newspaper.
@@CoCaleBelle I know it's not a great reason, but I actually want trump to win just because of this sketch. I promise if he does and I get to the net worth I hope to reach in this crypto bull market I will reach out to cracked and said people in the sketch to turn it into an actual movie
good fucking sktech guys!! I mean this is really well put together and the shots are awesome fucking funny as all hell and a very original concept! good job
Actually this idea has been floated as potentially a real thing before, so it's not entirely an original concept. It is, however, a very funny, well done video.
D Rodriguez Crazy if it's true, absolutely. One of the reasons some people think it is is that before this election campaign started, Trump often expressed great admiration and fondness for Hillary Clinton. Which of course isn't, alone, nearly enough proof... politicians often vastly contradict themselves... but it does make it not entirely unfeasible that he might run to purposely screw up the Republican party's chances.
honestly the best part of the video is the end when Dan says "where going from five to six videos a week from now until the end of time" that joke is timeless
Cracked has the best actors, it's unbelievable how good they are. I know all the people in Hollywood, and they all tell me what great actors these guys are. such a yuuuge success, they're doing a tremendous job, I mean tremendous.
People don't even know what "politically correct" means. It's just a buzzword people use to shut down criticism. "Waah, you're not taking everything I say as gospel, you're suppressing my free speech. Only _I_ get to say what I want to say and you have to sit there and _be silent_. That's what freedom _means_." Whenever someone uses the phrase "politically correct", I know they haven't thought about what they're saying.
Conversely, the idea that you can't have your own opinions, for the fear that they will hurt someone else's feelings, is that really so great either? There's a difference between being a bigot, being ignorant, and being labeled as a bigot for having alternative viewpoints.
Freedom of speech includes the freedom to offend. Because people can take offence when it has not been given, and if you can stop people from saying 'offensive things', you can silence your detractors. It doesn't matter if in your case things are different, this is a principle that deserves to be defended.
No PC means "you are being annoying and wordy. Just say what you mean already this jargon is giving me a headache". Or "reply to my idea, not how I said it". When someone IS politically corect they aren't listening they are trying to shut someone down by addressing a random irrelevant "manners": instead of talking about the GD point.
Of course people have the right to say whatever they want. People have the right to offend and people have the right to _be_ offended. But, as this video demonstrated, "politically correct" was just used to shut someone down rather than address the point brought up. Perhaps in your experience it has been different, but I have never in my life heard someone actually use the term "politically correct" in order to bring a conversation back on track. It has always been used (in my experience anyway) to shut down alternative view points instead of engage them. Rather than address whatever logical contradictions are present, it's used to dismiss ideas before they are considered. I don't think there is anything wrong with someone bringing up an argument in interpretive dance, so long as it makes sense. However some people would like to have a discussion without being insulted during it (refusing to talk to someone because they kept calling you "gay" or "stupid" is not being obsessed with manners, it's refusing to be harassed). There have always been consequences for having controversial opinions. The consequences now are often that you hurt someone's feelings _and_ people don't like you for having hurt their feelings, which is far better than being arrested for speaking your mind. Words mean things and words have impact. Some times people won’t like you for the things you say, and that’s okay. Again, your experiences might have been different, but in _mine_ the term "politically correct" is what has been used to silence people, to prevent any objection. Everyone who responded to my initial comment appears to have been offended to some degree, but I didn't respond by calling them "politically correct" because that fails to address the points you've all made. People are allowed to be pissed and people are allowed to respond negatively. What they _cannot_ do is harass, threaten, or abuse you.
Alex Harrison in one hand there is still 101 indicators that he didn't want to be president, on the other hand we saw what happen the last time with a puppet republican president.
infinityplus0ne it bloody well better be worth it! if doesn't end up with trump singing "Never going to give up" whilst dressed as the rarest of Pepe's and riding Nyan cat on the White house lawn (Aka the Troll to end all Trolling, The Trollpocolyps if you will.) there will be trouble!!!
Whenever a Trump supporter argues why they are voting for him, they just state how crooked Hillary is. Which she is, but why is it so hard to admit they are both terrible options?
They just use stupid buzzwords and name calling. When democrats talk about raising taxes on the rich, and better funding for education. They just shout "make America great again" blame everything on PC culture and Muslims, and then argue that they don't need to change anything about this country.
Because we've been trained by media to believe that we have to choose the lesser of two evils: democrat or republican. Most people actually believe that voting for anyone unaffiliated with the two major parties would be a "wasted vote" since it isn't likely they would win (which is true because everyone having that attitude makes it a self-fulfilling prophecy) so we just get more of the same.
So many great jokes that are very subtle, Like how the two comedians' clothes become more formal over time, from just T-shirts, jeans, and sweatshirts to extremely expensive suits. In the final scene, they are drinking scotch, even though they are drinking coffee throughout the rest of the sketch. The office set it is in goes from a worn down, barren backroom, to an elaborate, enterprising campaign headquarters. That one of the comedians finds Scott Baio supporting Trump ridiculous, even with support from people on the same tack board such as Tom Brady, Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock, Willie Robertson, & Gary Busy, among others. All of which are equally as ridiculous as Scott Baio. Fantastic Work, gentlemen!
Trump supporters: nowhere in this video does it suggest that you should vote for Clinton, nor that you should vote Democrat. It DOES suggest that there were much better choices for Republican candidate. So before you spout off about how this is 'leftist' and supports Hillary, try actually thinking. I know it's hard. But try.
you can not see but my hands are clapping off to you sir. Clinton and trump are not the only choice people there is always the independent tickets people their voices are never heard as loud cause people focus on these red and blue parties. and yes this here is bashing the trump for president but in all honesty people early on, thought it was a joke like Rosanne saying she wanting to be president. you did have better and ignore them til they said they were gonna have to quit. your speaker is sitting there saying he has no choice but endorse trump. I say Rubio was definite better choice. I understand why bush wasn't able to was cause the memories of his family actions both good and bad are still kicking in people heads when they were in office. you show one spot in the video where they bring up the democrats once.
+The Last Potatoeslayer I don't support Trump, but (1) did you actually poll your entire high school to see that 99% of them don't like him, and (2) since when are high school students (most of whom can't vote) a reliable source of political opinion?
It's rhetoric, you merigold-measuring ass! :P But I'm sure the guy means 'the general cafetaria opinion is' Trump's a joke. And remember, high-schoolers aren't exactly good at being wise so if even *they* can smell the toupet glue...~
Joshua Sweetvale Exactly! Seth Moore High school kids are the kids who will be voting next election so, yes you are correct they are not the most reliable choice of political opinion. But they will be in the next election so have more faith in the next generation!
It would be pretty funny for Hillary. Give the Americans hope on a better future with Trump, and then blow that idea up by revealing it was all a lie. It's not the first lie Hillary came up with.
it would lead to chaos. how many fanatical followers does trump have and what will they think when they learn that EVERYTHING in these past months had been nothing but elaborate lie aimed as a prnak? The republicans as a party would be effectively humiliated and discredited.
not only that, but I think this would have make for a great film. they already had 10mins in the can. if the could have come up with 75mins more I honest believe if you release this as a film say 2w after the election you would have got a ton of people watch it
+Young Jesus cuz I don't have a problem with Trump I just have a problem with his supporters THEU R FUCKIN JERKS and everything they say bout Mexicans just pisses me THA fuk off
I saw this conspiracy where Hillary told Donald to run a campaign against her for her to win because we didn't really care about Donald before the election so he got hella popularity+money. But now, if the conspiracy is true, I think he thinks he can actually win this and is going rogue
My morning routine consists of coffee, checking up on my football team, Reddit. I'm seriously considering unsubscribing from r/politics because of the fire hose of shit coming from this man.
Your comment implies that it is irrational to have a negative disposition to having a rather irrationally aggressive, xenophobic man in possession of enough nuclear weapons to destroy the planet a few times over. Think what you want, but please don't harass those who think differently. Thank you.
Came here from Reddit just now. It's 5:30 a.m. and very quiet in the house. I paused the video right at the end and leaned back and the quiet became loud and apparent. God I hate how the world is right now. What a fucking way to start my Monday........
That would be the failed Lilith Fair Reunion Tour. Heads rolled on that one. She got a divorce and left the label over losing millions while other people scammed bags of cash for no-refund VIP tickets and backstage meet and greets.
Lora S. Private appearance fees and Franchise licensing is big money. It's rarely published just how large a share an artist gets of profits of mega tours away from the stage itself. 50 large scale events at 20,000 seat venues across 48 states is a huge deal. However a label makes most of the profits first before an artists gets their share. So if a tour goes bad an artist can loose a lot of money while the label still makes money. Not to mention merchandising T-shirts, CD's, Cook Books? It all adds up to lost sales thus lost profits.
This is brilliant. It really does seem like an elaborate prank. My favorite part is at 1:20 where he says he's a little disappointed in the American people. I laughed so hard because I've thought exactly the same thing about all of this. Thanks Cracked.
It's too bad Cracked got rid of its video division, the channel was so brilliant, dealt with mature subjects and was a cut above every other comedy channel. But those people have found new lives with their own channel, so great!
Bernie was a shit candidate. XD His platform was total garbage and was made to appeal to millennials, He had no plan for paying for any of it, He couldn't play the media game right, He tried to use logic to defend his points and failed miserably, and He would have never been able to implement any of his trash if he had been elected. But by all means sit in your echo chamber and claim that the old daft fart was somehow a better choice than the literal giant douche and the brain damaged liar of a turd sandwich we get to chose from now. On second thought maybe an idealistic idiot with no idea how to actually do something, that probably would have died in office was the better choice... hmm...
I've always thought this. What really gets me is all the people supporting him. I can only assume... 33% have psychological problems 33% are being overly ironic 33% watch too much "The Apprentice" 1% genuinely support him
I would agree with you, if it wasn't for the fact that Hilary was the opposition. Once you take that into consideration 12% are idiots, and the rest have no better option.
the worst part is that if trump loses, america will officially be less stupid than the UK. just imagining prime minister boris johnson is fucking terrifying
Not until he's conned us out of Billions of dollars. He's sleazy soulless asshole and he will take U.S. for every thing he can. Not until after he ruins our international reputation and starts a few wars and drops a few NUKES. that will be fun to watch... remember I CALLED IT!
