Mist for sure. The plot wouldn't advance if things were left to chance and the story wouldn't be as loved as it is if there was no one to really root for or get attached to.
the pacifice timeline couldn't exist because Eren doesn't manipulate Grisia to kill the royal family, due to not getting the titians, and grisia would die to them
@@crimsonhunter7598 In the span of a day there would be hundreds of Colossal Titan users reverting to human only to be eaten again. If Bertolt failed to breach the wall then the Titans would keep eating whoever turns back until there are no more pure titans left to eat whoever reverts back
@@EthanPHX None of what you said makes any sense. The hundreds of colossal titans in the walls are all mindless titans. Bertolt is the exception as his Colossal titan is one of the 9 titan shifters. It's impossible for a titan to regain their human form unless they eat one of the 9 titan shifters and inherit their power. They get to live for the next 13 years until they inevitably die from Ymir's curse or they get eaten by someone else to pass down their power.
Eren’s mother would have kept Eren in check and kept Mikasa close to him. He wouldn’t have deserted from the Scouts in S4, but up to Season 3 P2 is out of Carla’s control.
The most interesting question is: *What if the Curse of Ymir never existed?* 1. The Curse of Ymir never existed because Ymir died naturally of old age. 2. The Curse of Ymir never existed because Ymir's traumatic death have no relation to the rest of the Titan-shifters. You can suggest other ideas in the replies
There is another possibility for Carla to survive without Dina being killed. If Carla had been somewhere outside the house while the wall was attacked. Then she would be shocked because of that big boulder on her house but she could still run away with her Kids. She would survive, Grisha would tell them everything he knows and Carla would support Eren. Also Eren would still have the possibility to activate his powers by touching Dina. With the extra knowledge they could train Eren's powers better and work out a plan to save and protect the island. Maybe Carla's influence on her son could even prevent them from the rumbling and make him choose a more political and thought out tactic instead on just destroying everything, including the wall.
in a situation that carla lives, while Eren is growing he will become a more patient and mindful person. Because kids like him will eventually listens their moms advises in further ages. Eren would use rumbling for only defens for paradis.

you should do a What If about Grisha never being manipulated by Eren, how the story would have turned out with him just being a doctor instead of taking the founder titan and give it to Eren.
He would have died in Marley without Eren helping him via the Owl, if he didn't give Eren the Titan he would have been dead long ago, he would never have had the attack titan himself.
I asked the same question.. that just means that Frieda would still be the founding titan and let every Eldian suffer because she thinks its what they deserve

I'm convinced that Grisha was not only asking Eren where his mother was to make sure she was alive and safe but that he was going to give her the titans that night. Eren telling him that Carla was dead, forced him into a corner where he had to give the titans to someone else everyone there would end up dead just like his wife and the rest is history. I've wondered what could've happened had he given them to Carla instead.
Something that wasnt mentioned in "the mist ending" is that I feel like if Eren knew he had a titans power he and mikasa would probably sneak out of the cadets camp and train his powers, so he most likely wouldve been alot more experienced by the time trost happened and mightve even been able to use hardening, if this were the case I could see him actually beating Reiner in season 2 making it so the scouts would have never had to rescue Eren meaning they all wouldve survived. The only downside to this is that we know the warrior trio would sneak out into the capital to find info so they couldve ended up stumbling upon Eren training his titan.

There’s a fourth ending. Basically the mist ending except the Boulder never hit Eren’s house. Dina Fritz would of been outside and Hannes would be scared but Carla isn’t trapped so all of them would run because the house wasn’t crushed. So Eren would active the founder with Dina and continue the series.
i think even with carla being around it would be similar to the normal plot until they fully pass, erens mom would tell eren to most likely take advantage of being an MP to be further in the walls and eren being eren would probably listen to his mom especially if grisha sends some memories so he probably wouldnt join the survey corps because theres no drive in him other than armin to see the outside world
I think this should go further back because Eren Kruger gave Grisha the Attack Titan knowing the sequence of events with a Carla. If those events didn't happen then his decision wouldn't happen. Also, if Grisha came clean to his family, they'd hell him to come clean to the military considering all the walls have been broken. People like Erwin Smith and Pixys would be very accommodating to someone in the military gaining the Attack Titan power. The knowledge about the Other titans would also be with them because Grisha knew about the founder, and would tell the military to go get the founder before it falls into Marley's hands.
Why don't just have Dina eat Bertholdt? That definitely solved a lot of problems for everyone on Paradis, Carla's life included. Plus, the idea of Levi get to knock Dina up as a way of getting back to Zeke is very interesting! Also, I have this plan called the Heraclius Plan, which I believed can save Paradis and the rest of the world in Attack on Titan. The plan was inspired by how Emperor Heraclius forced Shah Khosrow II to accept peace on his terms in the last Roman-Persian War of 602-628. And I think it is possible for Paradis to do the same here. But what significant about this plan is that once Marley is forced to accept peace on Paradis' terms, Marley will not be able to immediately retaliate because the invasion caused by Paradis is coincided with the Marley Mid-East War and the invasion itself is also nothing but a rampaging campaign that destroy a lot of Marley's economy and public infrastructures. And to make the matter worse, Paradis used the connection with Onyankopon to entice a rebellion in his homeland against Marley's rule. acing wars on three frotns and manpower and resources are rapidly depleting, Marley will be forced to choose between international humiliation and economic collapse. The point is that after these wars ended with Marley's defeat, they won't be able to do anything to anyone because the Marleyan government will needed to focus on rebuilding the country's economy. İf dina becomes a human again, i think its sure as shit that zeke will be in team paradis much earlier. And if eren becomes more chill guy, with Erwin living, maybe 5 titan powers, and rumbling would definitely enough to save all world and paradis.
In my opinion with eren not trusting people again I don't think he would have ever been kidnapped because he keeps his distance from reiner and burrito so I think that they wouldn't have to go on the rescue mission at all. But that's just me
My take away from the Mist was Hope… They lost hope and the unthinkable happened, but remember the grocery store lady who left bc her kids were home alone and she left ‘safety’ to go to them? She and her children were on the back of a military vehicle. She didn’t give up Hope…
Super interesting but I think there could've been atleast two other timelines in which they could save Carla before the smiling titan reaches her(by removing the rubble) or Hans just cutting the smiling titan's hand effectively not killing it, idk if the series would've gone differently but I think there would be no rumbling.
The only reason I don’t believe the pacifist timeline can work, is because Eren has to inherit the Attack Titan in order to manipulate his father into stealing the founder. He would also be manipulating his father through the selective memories he sends back. Grisha likely doesn’t follow through the night wall Maria falls, and without Eren inheriting the Attack Titan, that likely means Grisha dies at the hand of the royal family. Or perhaps, Grisha never bothers even making the trip to the chapel.
You are completely right, if Eren's mom never died, then Grisha would have never given Eren a titan. The only reason he gives Eren the titan is because he hears the news FROM EREN that his mother was eaten by a titan. And now because of the Finale, Eren said that he controlled Dina Fritz's Titan into going to kill his mom, which is actually impossible! This is because Eren can't change anything in the past that hasn't already happened, Eren couldn't have forced the Smiling Titan to eat his mom. In the other time-line where Eren only had the Attack Titan & needed to manipulate Grisha into stealing the Founding Titan for Eren, he would have needed to have the Founding Titan in the first place to control the Smiling Titan to eat his mom.
Imagine Dina (Smiling Titan) eat Berthold, become titan Shifter, reunited with Grisha, fix the wall, and they three (Grisha, Carla, and Dina) living together in Paradis. Good ending.
I've always wandered what would've happened if Marley launched a full blown attack on paradis instead of just sending the warriors, like what would grisha do, how they would respond to people from the outside falling in parachutes to invade them.

Eren can send memories to his past attack titan users, could it have been possible for him to tell Kruger to save Diana as well, to have one child with Carla nd one with Diana. in the cave, Grisha could use the serum to make his two children pure titans and kill the founding titan, eren eats the founder and the other child eats grisha. Grisha could have already written all of future erens plan in a bag, he brought with him and then they could use it to activate the rumbling. Eren and the other child would realize, that their mothers died through enemies and would be angry enough to start the rumbling
But if Erin was the Founding Titan and screamed wouldn't he have commanded the Titans to not eat his friends and still attack Reiner? He doesn't necessarily need to see Diana to scream and unlock the Coordinate.
But he can't use the Founding Titan just by screaming, he has to touch a royal-blooded titan or titan user, that's why he could activate it when he punched Dina
Well, depending from who Eren starts killing his friends in the "Mist" timeline, he will be able to unlock the founder when he touches Historia. So, some of them will still survive, though the Eren that makes it out from this timeline will be a monster, with no ethical dilemmas, since he would have killed most of his friends...
If Dina ate Bertholdt instead of Eren’s mom it’s likely that Eren would have never received the attack titan from his father and Grisha would basically be the main character. From there pretty much anything could happen since grisha wouldn’t have been manipulated by Eren so it’s possible that he doesn’t actually end up killing the royal family. Also his 13 year time limit is close to expiring I’m pretty sure. It would be cool tho in an alternate timeline where Grisha finds his previous wife alive and by them coming in contact with each other they unlock the power of the founding titan. Who knows what they would do with it though. Grisha’s main goal is to restore eldia but as we come to find out he’s not a big fan of killing innocent people so I doubt he’d start the rumbling like Eren.
Great video, I have to two things to add. 1. In the `Pacifist Timeline' If Grisha never give eren the founding power, then there's no way grisha would be alive, cause grisha couldn't bring himself to kill others and founding titan would kill him. 2. `SPOILER" for anime onlies, There could be another timeline, where Dina ate Bertholdt instead of ignoring him, That would be even more interesting timeline, two titan holder and eldian supporters, Two of grisha's wives, knowledge about the outside world and titan. It would be one hell of a timeline
The reason the first one doesn’t work is because erin made the smiling titan ignore bertholdt and eat his mom. But in this timeline eren never became the founder so the smiling titan would’ve most likely eaten bertholdt and wouldn’t even have made it to their house
I'd like to think of a possibility where Grisha tells Carla and Eren everything, and along the line, Eren agrees to go with Reiner back to Marley in hopes of figuring out a completely different way of saving the island. Like, he already knows that he has the Founder in this alternate timeline, so he could probably use this as a bargaining chip to bide time. Since he can't use the Founding Titan's abilities (which Marley might also want for themselves) he'll likely be taken back to Marley and they figure out a way to get an Eldian royal like Krista/Historia next. Meanwhile Zeke could already start making contact with Eren and trying to get the Euthanasia plan underway. If in the possibility that Marley doesn't care about being able to use the Founder, just as long as the Eldians don't have it, maybe they'll just go on ahead and blitz the island as soon as they can. It'd still be a race against the clock for Zeke and Eren to collab before that, or before Marley decides to feed Eren to a new Warrior, not minding at all that the Founder's just gonna lay dormant indefinitely.
well if Carla is still alive and Eren did eat grisha and obtained the attack titan and founding titan, it is mostly possible that eren could convinced or negotiate Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie to join side with Paradis island to be free from marley if eren makes contact with them to see their past memories since he has the attack titan and the founding titan. Just my opinion.
Eren share blood with Zeke and he is royal blood. They’re both 50% brothers so basically he will have a little control of the titans without Dina Fritz.
It's probably impossible for her to survive since now that the final episode came out, it was revealed that Eren was the one who sent the smiling titan to her mom from the future.
Even more fucked up when you find out Eren made Dina go in the direction of his house instead of eating Bertolt. Dina would have the Colossal Titan. Fucked up that Eren caused his own mother’s death.
My two personal favorite possibilities is that either A Dina eats Bertolt and manages to run away, eventually finding Eren and explaining things. Or my second personal favorite, Eren in the field scene where he unlocks his founding titan powers, winds up transforming due to pure rage (All though it may be disfigured) and eventually comes in contact with Historia as she was there to, causing him to unlock his powers. This second explanation would also lead to everyone finding out that Eren and Historia holding hands allows Eren to use his full power. This would also mean that he would be able to trigger the rumbling ALOT sooner. Another What If? of Carla surviving I like is through unknown means, she survives being eaten by Dina and is just kept off-screen for the duration of AOT. Until during Tyber's speech, she makes herself known to Eren, causing him to come up from the basement dumbfounded because he thought she was dead. I like this because it would show the world that Eren would be willing to just cease all violence just like that. No bloodshed required.

The way I see it is Grisha would have given Eren the Titan regardless of the situation and possible future outcomes. Even if Carla survived Grisha would have pleaded Eren to protect his mother and Mikasa with the power of the Titan. Grisha also strongly emphasised that he wanted Eren to find the basement and uncover the truth of the Titans. Eren was bound to join the Scouts regardless of the situation and since he already desired to kill every last Titan Grisha most likely decided it was the best and safest option to grant Eren the Attack Titan so he could fulfil his desire to purge the Titans on Paradis Island. Carla have been able to escape with Hannis's help especially since her legs weren't broken, she feigned an injury like that because she didn't want Eren or Mikasa to risk their lives to rescue her from the collapsed house. Even if Hannis killed the Smiling Titan Eren still would have come in contact with the Coordinate via Zeke and Historia. Eren still would have learned about the Coordinate via Zeke and the Rumbling still most likely would have happened because he didn't want his mother to be put in danger again, wanted to protect his friends and the Island. The Rumbling would have started, Eren would have trampled Marley and I think he would have been convinced to stop the Rumbling if Carla were there to talk to him face to face with Mikasa. If Carla could have spoken to him Eren most likely would have ended the Rumbling and end the Curse of Ymir without dying in the process.
Eren got turned into a titan because Grisha’s life span was coming to an end because of the curse of ymir so he gave eren the titan power so that it wont be transfered to a random eldian born around that time
She would never have survived because Future Eren sent Dina to eat his mom so that Past Eren would be sent on a journey of revenge against all Titans, culminating in the Rumbling which would wipe out all of humanity except for those on Paradis effectively saving all of his friends from war and allowing them to live long lives. Eren was behind everything in the series, it was all planned by him, even in his darkest moments Eren was in control the whole time.
I like to think and theorize very possibilities such as this is what Eren foresaw with the powers of the Founding Titan through the Paths. Ultimately forcing him to go with the "best" possible/only outcome that would keep Paradis from going extinct. Even if it would take genocide on a global scale and still result in Paradis being mostly destroyed just a few decades later as we see in the manga's extended ending. At the very least the his people still survived despite Paradis being devastated in some fashion regardless. Tough the ominous showing of that damn tree at the end imply history may repeat itself yet again. And that even may have long before even Ymir first stumbled across it. . .
İf eren suspects to everyone because of possibility of being a titan shifter, then he will understand when reiner reveals himself. So he will turn into a titan quickly, So that can make a change.
But if dina was killed in episode one then she wouldnt be there to eat them and hannes couldve taken on the smaller titans to give eren and mikasa a chance to escape
In my opinion on how she will survive is if Hannah's bring in his friends or buddies to lift up the falling wood on her leg and retreat her along with her kids if Hannah fought Dina or the smiling titan he would just die knowing even if his train he lacks the experience
I still think that Eren would have joined the corps since his urge to have free will is too strong for his mother to control. Specially if Shiganshina was destroyed and he lost his home. I think Grisha would have revealed everything to Eren and sacrificed himself to keep his son from dying while fighting as a scout. I'm not sure though if Eren would activate the Rumbling or not but having family living in Paradis would make me want to activate the Rumbling even more if I was Eren.... even if I would be hated by them... they would be alive.
There is something that people should understand. There are no multiple timelines nor multiverse in AoT. There is only one, fixed timeline. Everything in AoT happened, because it happened and could not happen any other way. This is why Eren, even with the power of the Founding Titan, could not change his present reality by "manipulating" the past. No mater how many times he tried.
I feel like it would be cool to make a 4th possibility when Hanes didn't appear at the same time he did in the og story and Eren would've tried to protect his family and eventually touching Dina, awakening the coordinate and then just subconciously control titans to kill Dina. And from this point there's nothing and no one stopping Eren
i think a way to fix this timeline's messed up ending is to have hanness NOT kill Dina in the beginning if we take it into perspective, Hanness is a drunken fool with no experience in fighting an actual titan, so instead of killing Dina, he may as well be able to injure her by slashing her foot or gouging her eyes, long enough for him to run back, save Carla, Eren, and Mikasa, and thus everything will go from here As for what happens past the part where Eren touches DIna... no idea lol, im just giving an alternate good ending
I don't think everything you said in your last option would happen. let me see. As when Reiner reveals it, he will probably strike to kill, killing Reiner instead of just standing there, so Eren wouldn't have been kidnapped and he couldn't transform in front of the smilling titan because he was scared and traumatized, but he mother didn't die so no fear or trauma, meaning he could transform. Also in your last timeline, Ymir (jaw) would have survived, Reiner and Berthold would've died and they would've sealed the hole in wall Maria way sooner. The rumbeling probably still would've happen but with Eren being so cautious, Gabi would've probably missed so he would've had a titan body like Ymir's (founder). He then probably kill everyone outside of paradis, banish the titans and probably still live.
Without Eren wishing to unleash the Rumbling woudl he even tell his father in the past to go through with the plan of obtaining the Founding Titan? Furthermore without Eren having the powers of the Founding and Attacking Titan would he even be able to make that Time Travel? Otherwise it might be possible that Grisha wouldn´t have taken the Founding Titan and just kept the Attacking Titan which would have also changed the story.
