What if Cell won in Dragon Ball Z?

At the end of the Cell Saga, Super Perfect Cell is defeated when Goku is able to motivate Gohan enough to access his full power against the genetic monster. With a blast from Vegeta distracting Cell long enough for Gohan to have even more confidence in the fact that he can overpower Cell and correct his mistakes. This is the general idea of the ending of the Cell Saga, a deeper look will require an entirely different video, but for now you can probably see that this entirely relies on Gohan gaining his own self confidence - an important part of utilizing one's ki to its fullest extent. But what if Gohan couldn’t access his full power against Cell? What If Gohan couldn’t access his full power even with Goku and Vegeta pushing him forward? What if Gohan lost to Cell? For starters, I think Cell wouldn’t actually destroy the whole Solar System. Not that he can’t but first the energy required just to push back Gohan’s attack would take some toll on Cell and the remaining power of the attack. Secondly, Cell’s goal isn’t destruction - he wants to cause fear - the thing he sees as the greatest fun of all. So, after blasting Gohan away, Cell finishes off the remaining Z-fighters. In order, Vegeta, then Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Krillin, and Yamcha. With the Z-fighters out of the way, Cell turns his attention to the camera man, the announcer, and Mr. Satan.
