I found myself divided about equally between awe at the skill displayed here and laughing uncontrollably at the sheer joy and silliness. Took me a minute to catch that the safety helmet cymbal was being played by the ... springy thing on the end of the banjo. Absolutely loved this and needed it this morning. Thank you.

I loved it every cotton-picking minute of it period and I'm not so sure it was bluegrass but all I can say is it was wonderful. I'm an old rock and roller and a classic rock and roll music lover yeah that grew up on country music and bluegrass yet I learn to love all genres of music. I've even played drums and still play guitars to this day and at the age of 65 that has become difficult with arthritis. And there's nothing more enjoyable than listening to young people playing songs from the past and putting a new spin on it and giving their style to it. I love it. Can't wait to hear more.👍❤🎶🎼

Sarah has such incredible range and texture to her voice, and Gianni can match her and even do high harmony above the top of her range... they are amazing musicians and wonderful human beings. I sometimes feel like Charles De Lint based a couple of his most beloved characters on them, and they are only sojourners in this world because we mundanes needed the blessing of their talent and wisdom in these troubled times. I sometimes feel you,Meran and Cerrin Kelledy.

It's crazy how pretty much every member in the band can masterfully play multiple instruments. Joel, who's normally the drummer, is playing the banjo in this video. Gianni, who's mostly on either the guitar or piano, is on the drums. And Tokyo.... well.... Tokyo seems to do just about anything and everything the band needs him to do. Crazy talent and a testament to just how much they really love their craft. 🔥❤️🙌🏼

That's actually not a banjo. It's a banjo body with a guitar fretboard and tuning. Traditional bluegrass banjo has 5 strings, and it's played in the Scruggs style. Joel is basically just playing a guitar that has a banjo resonance to it. Still talented, though.

Absolutely awesome!!! From the age of 9 until this very day (44)I've been a huge GnR fan and have hated every single cover of them by ANYONE I ever heard before. This cover however, I feel the exact opposite. I love this and I had no idea I liked bluegrass lol

Just found this, catching up on WOTE, and watched it 3 times in the space of an hour. As usual, musicianship and vocals absolutely on point, but it's the joy and humour that make it unforgettable. Will be watching again when I feel a bit low. Bluegrass and G'n'R is a combo that was begging for attention, and no group could do it better.
