At this point, the question isn't "how much energy can we harness to become a certain civilization?" The more important question is: "what do we do with the energy?"
The crazy thing is as a species your goal may be to climb up this scale but at some point you become so advanced so much so you would stop caring about the very scale that put you on the path to become that advanced in the first place. You would become beyond the scale.
@@jai-hi2dt There will be no other civilizations. There is only room for one type VII, unless environmentalists stop us from anihilating other life in the Universe.

We wouldn't really be Gods. We would definitely be God-like, but from the perspective of us, the humans that haven't event reached Type 1, even an advanced Type 2 civilization would have tech and abilities that would seem God-like to us. These days even rich people can have almost God-like influence if you look at them from a certain perspective. Even if we show our current abilities to people from, say 700 years ago, they would think of us as incomprehensibly advanced. And it's further supported by the Cargo Cult from WW2, where for a short period of time, people with no advanced technology were suddenly exposed to the highest grade tech if the time, and ever since their disappearance shortly after the war ended, the natives tried to imitate them, thinking if them as higher being, hoping to bring them back. So basically, the term God is a quite subjective thing.
@@okaybutwhythough7456 intetesting ideas... Actually I find kardashev scale imprecise in some ways. For instance, how to classificate a boltzmann brain or a being living in a virtual world using this scale?
@@okaybutwhythough7456 No it's not exactly subjective, but it's contextual. With type 1, humans are the gods of Earth. With type 3, earthlings and whoever else can be there are the gods of the milky way. With type 4, the whole universe forms a final deity. And so on. You're always gonna be a contextual god, that is superior and in control of everything below, but is still below of everything above, until you reach the point in existence that evolution has reached so far, to allow it to go forward and keep evolving. Y'know there's something about the best humans of earth that, among all the other facts, differentiate them from the others. And that is, they keep on wanting to be greater. They keep on wanting to evolve. Even if, contextually, they're perfect. That is in my opinion gonna be the same for the rest of existence, eternal evolution. At some point considering yourself a god or whatnot will probably be irrelevant, you'll just want to go forward, knowing nothing can stop you anyway.

Top Level: One who can tap into and utilize the energies from the eternally existent 'gem' photon, the energy unit of all of existence for this universe. See more posts after this one on this thread.
Revised TOE: 3/25/2017a. My Current TOE: THE SETUP: 1. Modern science currently recognizes four forces of nature: The strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, gravity, and electromagnetism. 2. In school we are taught that with magnetism, opposite polarities attract and like polarities repel. But inside the arc of a large horseshoe magnet it's the other way around, like polarities attract and opposite polarities repel. (I have proved this to myself with magnets and anybody with a large horseshoe magnet and two smaller bar magnets can easily prove this to yourself too. It occurs at the outer end of the inner arc of the horseshoe magnet.). 3. Charged particles have an associated magnetic field with them. 4. Protons and electrons are charged particles and have their associated magnetic fields with them. 5. Photons also have both an electric and a magnetic component to them. FOUR FORCES OF NATURE DOWN INTO TWO: 6. When an electron is in close proximity to the nucleus, it would basically generate a 360 degree spherical magnetic field. 7. Like charged protons would stick together inside of this magnetic field, while simultaneously repelling opposite charged electrons inside this magnetic field, while simultaneously attracting the opposite charged electrons across the inner portion of the electron's moving magnetic field. 8. There are probably no such thing as "gluons" in actual reality. 9. The strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force are probably derivatives of the electro-magnetic field interactions between electrons and protons. 10. The nucleus is probably an electro-magnetic field boundary. 11. Quarks also supposedly have a charge to them and then would also most likely have electro-magnetic fields associated with them, possibly a different arrangement for each of the six different type of quarks. 12. The interactions between the quarks EM forces are how and why protons and neutrons formulate as well as how and why protons and neutrons stay inside of the nucleus and do not just pass through as neutrinos do. THE GEM FORCE INTERACTIONS AND QUANTA: 13. Personally, I currently believe that the directional force in photons is "gravity". It's the force that makes the sine wave of EM energy go from a wide (maximum extension) to a point (minimum extension) of a moving photon and acts 90 degrees to the EM forces which act 90 degrees to each other. When the EM gets to maximum extension, "gravity" flips and EM goes to minimum, then "gravity" flips and goes back to maximum, etc, etc. A stationary photon would pulse from it's maximum extension to a point possibly even too small to detect, then back to maximum, etc, etc. 14. I also believe that a pulsating, swirling singularity (which is basically a pulsating, swirling 'gem' photon) is the energy unit in this universe. 15. When these pulsating, swirling energy units interact with other energy units, they tangle together and can interlock at times. Various shapes (strings, spheres, whatever) might be formed, which then create sub-atomic material, atoms, molecules, and everything in existence in this universe. 16. When the energy units unite and interlock together they would tend to stabilize and vibrate. 17. I believe there is probably a Photonic Theory Of The Atomic Structure. 18. Everything is basically "light" (photons) in a universe entirely filled with "light" (photons). THE MAGNETIC FORCE SPECIFICALLY: 19. When the electron with it's associated magnetic field goes around the proton with it's associated magnetic field, internal and external energy oscillations are set up. 20. When more than one atom is involved, and these energy frequencies align, they add together, specifically the magnetic field frequency. 21. I currently believe that this is where a line of flux originates from, aligned magnetic field frequencies. NOTES: 22. The Earth can be looked at as being a massive singular interacting photon with it's magnetic field, electrical surface field, and gravity, all three photonic forces all being 90 degrees from each other. 23. The flat spiral galaxy can be looked at as being a massive singular interacting photon with it's magnetic fields on each side of the plane of matter, the electrical field along the plane of matter, and gravity being directed towards the galactic center's black hole where the gravitational forces would meet, all three photonic forces all being 90 degrees from each other. 24. As below in the singularity, as above in the galaxy and probably universe as well. 25. I believe there are only two forces of nature, Gravity and EM, (GEM). Due to the stability of the GEM with the energy unit, this is also why the forces of nature haven't evolved by now. Of which with the current theory of understanding, how come the forces of nature haven't evolved by now since the original conditions acting upon the singularity aren't acting upon them like they originally were, billions of years have supposedly elapsed, in a universe that continues to expand and cool, with energy that could not be created nor destroyed would be getting less and less dense? My theory would seem to make more sense if in fact it is really true. I really wonder if it is in fact really true. 26. And the universe would be expanding due to these pulsating and interacting energy units and would also allow galaxies to collide, of which, how could galaxies ever collide if they are all speeding away from each other like is currently taught? DISCLAIMER: 27. As I as well as all of humanity truly do not know what we do not know, the above certainly could be wrong. It would have to be proved or disproved to know for more certainty.
Sarif was right about one thing. It's in our nature to want to rise above our limits. Think about it. We were cold, so we harnessed fire. We were weak, so we invented tools. Every time we met an obstacle, we used creativity and ingenuity to overcome it. The cycle is inevitable... but will the outcome always be good? I guess that will depend on how we approach it. These past few months, I was challenged many times, but more often than not, didn't I try to keep morality in mind, knowing that my actions didn't have to harm others? Time and time again, didn't I resist the urge to abuse power and resources simply to achieve my goals more swiftly? In the past, we've had to compensate for weaknesses, finding quick solutions that only benefit a few. But what if we never need to feel weak or morally conflicted again? What if the path Sarif wants us to take enables us to hold on to higher values with more stability? One thing is obvious. For the first time in history, we have a chance to steal fire from the gods. To turn away from it now - to stop pursing a future in which technology and biology combine, leading to the promise of a Singularity - would mean to deny the very essence of who we are. No doubt the road to get there will be bumpy, hurting some people along the way. But won't achieving the dream be worth it? We can become the gods we've always been striving to be. We might as well get good at it. - Deus Ex Human Revolution
@Zuka was just thinking this. If our reality is a simulation and a type 7 existed it would still theoretically be part of the simulation ( I think ). Although type 7 would be all knowing it would immediately know how to transcend the simulation thus becoming type 8. Or maybe... type 7 IS the creator of the matrix. Idk just thinking out loud here.
It’s not that hard, here let me simplify: Type 1: using the resources of our home planet at full potential Type 2: using the energy of the star of our own solar system Type 3: spreading, conquering and using all the energy of our galaxy Type 4: spreading, conquering and using all the energy of our universe Type 5: stepping outside of our universe and conquering, spreading and using all the energy of the multiverse (which contains a different numbers of universes including ours) Type 6: stepping outside the multiverse and essentially the reality that we know Type 7: be the reality of all existence and infinity

So logically, if humanity were ever to be type 7 we would've already born on that level .In a nutshell humanity could never become type 7, but only if we could predict everything we would have been at type 7, logically 😉.
Technically you wouldn't be predicting anything. You would just know everything. Like knowing that something is sitting across the room, all you would have to do is focus on it. And the video doesn't say, because we can't know, if there currently is a type 7 civilization.
@@kadewilliams7925 went on a wrong route . I was saying if humanity would ever to be type 7 we would've already been born on that level to create the further creation itself.
But why should this "type 7" be subject to our linear understanding of time? Maybe the prerequsite for "becoming type 7" is to be beyond time as we understand it, or beyond reality, as we understand it, altogether.

I might be missing your point, but maybe not... Possibly thinking in similar vain, but the other way around. My main issue is the idea of multi-verse and control of time (I think time travel was included in the "specs" of 7 phases). Point being it contains the paradox of technological achievement - if advanced tech and knowledge can in theory be brought back in time, who develops it in the first place if a step can be skipped? Same goes for gathering energy from the multiverse... It goes against every (imaginable) rule of entropy. Now, generally the whole 7 phase concept reminds me of Asimov's "Final question" which I actually find to be more "grounded" thanks to the lack of time and multi-verse travel.

Hey remember at the end of Men in black 1 where the big aliens where playing with the marbles? And the marbles where Galaxies? Well yep im sure they were up on the scale.....👽👽👽
I think the best analogy for a Type 7 being would be like how multicellular beings exist. Life started out as unicellular in the beginning, and after millions of years of evolution, some became multicellular beings, and became what it is today. Take our body for example. Each and every cell of our body is a living entity. It can survive by itself when isolated (provided that we constantly provide the required nutrients and such). But these separate living entities came together to form a single, living being- Us. That's how a Type 7 being would come into the picture. All of the inhabitants of a Type 6 would have their conscience connect together and become a single collective entity- a single being that's everywhere (by this point, a Type 6 would've already conquered and distributed to every corner of the multiverse), knows everything, and can do anything. In short: Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent. Yeah. By this point, a Type 7 will literally become The One Above All. The Creator. There's no Beginning or End for such a being, as Time would just become a minor piece of information for it, no longer constraining it's existence or path. It's the Ultimate existence in the Omniverse...
What if we are already a type 7 trying to experience itself from every type, from 1-6 as it exists? We could be that individual pretending to be a collective.
This is exactly what is described in the short story "The Egg" by Andy Weir. Kurzgezagt did a great adaption on this story on their channel. You gotta check it out.
@@drago22x Its the same thing just like the symbol of infinity. Individual pretending to be collective and collective pretending to be individual is the SAME it's just your perception that determines the answer
Responsibility holds no meaning in a reality that this vid describes. Infinite parallel universes means all possibilities exist simultaneously. Responsibility may be an inconsequential concept humans created to give ourselves purpose.

I believe one of the highest civilizations is when you go beyond infinity and fuse with the beyondness of infinity including Infinity itself and then even go beyond a further uncountable Infinity
There are probably an infinity of omniverses just infinite levels going up and those levels recreate the cycle of evolution it can be similar yet vastly different
Any civilization advanced enough to reach level 3 on the Kardashev scale has only survived long enough to do so because they realized what we haven't: we're all part of a universal consciousness, all connected. Human beings interact every second of every day without understanding the profound impact they have on one another. It's why we're so shitty to each other. Once you make the decision to make a positive impact on those around you and also treat yourself to that same positivity everything changes. People always talking about "waking up" and don't even know what that means.
The crazy part is that people have literally shown each other in movies, video games, tv and other ways of what would happen if we all stopped doing our nonsense and worked together as the "Human race". We should've reached Type 3 a long time ago but are still at Type 0.7. We should at the very least be at Type 1.5 currently in time but because of our continuous nonsense, we will have to reach that point extremely slowly until things like racism, discrimination of any kind, sexism, war, and other unnecessary things are removed. People are all surprised with the stuff we have now but some of us like you and I aren't even impressed by most things and have a true understanding that the potential of technology, nature and humans is thousands of times greater. Tbh, we may not live long enough to experience it in our lifetimes but I'm just waiting to see if we're just gonna destroy ourselves or reach the time when we come together to move up the scale.
You are a type 7 being to any species that you imagine/create. You’ll know everything about their world and you’ll be there from beginning to end. Their whole existence and everything in and about it is you. Maybe we just live in some being’s brain
"The absolute highest most horrendous Truth that even those so called Gods are unable to accept is that Everything that include everything is ultimately INSIDE another thing" this is a key point in the lore of a book I've been writing for a few years, where basically "gods" of higher dimensions who for eons thought to be "omnipotent" and to have absolute control over the very of creation and destrction at some points somehow they realized that ALL they thought was ALL was in reality all INSIDE something bigger, something for them unfathomable which meant that their so thought "omnipotence" was utterly meaningless compared to whatever was OUTSIDE so basically is like everything thought to exist is inside a box...and there is no possible concievable way for someone inside to even imagine what could be OUTSIDE that box

Wouldn’t we already have achieved type 7 if it’s complete control of spacetime? We’d exist in outside of the limits of present, past & future, so inevitably we’d have the ability to observe our “current” reality as we know it
What if when you pass away heaven is like a type 5(could be considered type O.o) where god gives you the task and ability to help him create universes.
Type VII would be omniscient and omnipotent, but also completely impractical. If space is truly expanding like we think it is, even close galaxies would be completely cut off from us or each other by our understanding of causality. Even getting to type 3 would push the limits of causality, and it completely defies they laws of physics that we understand to have one single entity separated by thousands of light years. Maybe if we finally crack the mystery of dark matter and energy we could achieve it, but I don't think it's physically possible. We would have to transcend our corporeal forms and leave the universe entirely to achieve anything type 3 and above.
We are actually already a part of such a civilization . We are right now playing a small game of life. And within this game (inside the console) we call outer world 'nature'
Here's you 400th Like for yet another interesting video. I think a Type VII civilization would have to be infinitely good by nature since by understanding everything (and being everything) it would either be all-loving thanks to this understanding, or not aware of itself because not everything is aware of itself, unless it would be selfaware as a collective whole. To me it feels like speculating that every galaxy will be an atom that will make up this Type VII entity.
What if the some of the intergalactic axiomatic flaws about energy harvesting and colonization within the Kardashev scale are the exact reason we have yet to achieve type 1 civilization and risk a fermi paradox extinction before finding a way through the paradox?
Funny how this theory reaches a ceiling of one, ultimate, perfect, omniversal being that exists outside of any and all reality, across all the infinite multiverse, recreates itself within itself, who's been there before everything and after everything. Wonder who? Hmmm
I feel like theres another great filter between type 3 civilization and type 4 civilization if that civilization trying to use the energy of the universe would likely figure out how to use dark energy to power itself, which leads to the possibility that if it grew too big throughout the universe that it could start using dark energy faster than the universe can create it, potentially causing the big crunch to happen artificially, which means they would have to either escape into the multiverse or die.
Type 7: **knows everything that ever is, was, or will be, but cannot fathom its own origin** **creates infinite multiverses, housing infinite timelines in each, as an experiment to find out** **peers into our verse, our galaxy, our star, our planet, and into this video** **strokes theoretical chin** "Yes. This may be the one."
My hypothesis: (I'm a chemistry and molecular biology research scientist) I am a panpsychist myself, and while psychedelic anecdotes aren't scientifically accurate, (psychedelics allowed Watson and Crick to discover the DNA double helix); When I mixed psychedelics, I "saw" (as a dream state), that the multiverse "bubble universes" combine in a fractal pattern, a fractal much like Fibonacci, (search youtube for "3D fractal videos"), and this fractal pattern of all multiverse "bubble universes" functions as a "brain", a neural network. So the same consciousness that flows through our brains, I hypothesize that this consciousness also permeates through the "omniverse" as an infinitely sized brain structure. Possibly there is an infinite regression of universes turning into multiverses, turning into omniverses, and so on infinitely as a fractal, whose purpose is a consciousness generating machine. In other words, reality is an infinitely expanding brain.
it's crazy to think there might be a civilization out there, which of course is more "advanced" than our civilization where they are already at the highest level maybe type 10,11 or 15? and they're planning on to the next type? it gives me goosebumps man to think about it. Damn!
The thing is, there are so many aspects and variables that apparently have not been put into play yet, such as the fact that if type 7s *did* exist, their only purpose left, would be to help other multiverses reach their level, and that, according to modern science, would be an endless goal, so therefore those 7s would be able to have purpose infinitely.
How do you know that would be their goal or that it would be infinite? Firstly, it would not necessarily be infinite because this "type 7" could just force ascend those multiverses with less than a thought. And secondly, it would not necessarily be the goal of this "type 7" to "help" other multiverses. Maybe instead the "type 7" would like to annihilate the multiverses instead, or just not interact with them whatsoever.
To achieve type VII. We need to collect all the collective consciousness of every single being in every multiverse in very single timeline and store it at one point. But what if those collection of datas are just stored in some corrupted memory card of a being in type VIII civilization
And type 8 civilization: humans can even create new multiuniverses it self , Type 9 civilization: multiplying the more multiuniverses and so so many civilization comes up!
Not now, people are so fucking stupid. I mean people are so preoccupied with pushing their own agenda. I remember a quote - "Preoccupied with a single leaf you will miss the tree, and preoccupied with a single tree you will miss the entire forest". Unless humanity can get their shit together we are going extinct in the next 100 years or so.
@Kevin Sluijs If you reduce the population than labour becones expensive so only the most rich people and those with a lot of talent can gain money or maintain a higher middle class or higher power. Rest all(majority) will slowly drift to poverty. This will be the new norm for a few decades then and the population will continue to decrease due to lack of utilities. After a century or so the money will start leaking from the rich ones and the entire economy will shut down, resulting into extinction of human race or we will be back to stone age. So maybe less population is a bad idea 🤔. Btw loved your thinking and it is plausible. This is just if the loss went on the wrong side. @unvieled you got your next topic idea. XD. Even i am 13. 😉
There is actually a type 7 being. He is actually above that because he was before all things and created all things. He has gone by many names over the years but I know his name as Jesus and he wants to have a personal relationship with you. John 3:15-18
I am The Greek Goddess of Astronomy, Urania and type 1-7, on The Kardashev Scale, so I am living proof that the gods scientifically exist. This is no joke. I am serious. If The Kardashev Scale Theory is proof that we gods could exist, why do people still deny it?
😱 That's really out there. We're definitely not going to reach a 7 on the Kardashev scale. Still quite fascinating. I'd be satisfied if we reached one of the lower levels.
I don't think there would be an end once you get to type VII. Simply imagine it as a new beginning, where such beings have to progress to lets say a type X civilization...This process would keep going on and on into the depths of power beyond power...For I feel these beings/singularitys would only search for more power. This is true infinity. For if the Universe is infinite, then there are infinite universes within the universe. Kinda hard to explain, since we are just humans that haven't reached a type I civilization yet...Or have we 🤔
Definitely a multiverse. Edit: After some sobering thought on it I realize that if there is an omniverse then the multiverse that has rick and Morty in it is in there. So the actual answer to your question is: Yes.
Fun to watch. Assuming we don't destroy our ecosystem this century one can hope. The issue I have with this scale is to be a type one we need to utilize all of the energy of the planet. Right now we don't use a fraction of that and from what I understand our over all demand for energy is peaking thanks in part to our increases in energy efficiency. I like renewable energy but to have every square foot of the planet covered by a solar panel or a wind turbine is impractical.
I think the game Destiny perfectly describes a scale 7 entity. The light and the dark were a soup of conscious mathematical constants. Before rules like time, space existed. They wanted to created reality. And then life and death.
There's a book by Terry Pratchett called "Strata", in which each layer of reality was made by a more powerful civilization than the one before it. So like, planets were made by Civ A, but stars were made even earlier by Civ B, but earlier than that _space itself_ was made by Civ C... The very first civ in that book would probably count as a Kardeshev VII. (turns out this is all happening in an ALTERNATE universe, but the idea still stands.)
