Alex Cephon Goku was educated. In Dragon Ball as well as teaching them martial arts, Master Roshi taught Goku and Krillen basic maths and other subjects that are taught in schools. Which is why Goku could pass the written exam super.

Actually Masako, I do have a "What-If" scenario that may pique your interest. I've written and Illustrated a retelling of the Cell Games that has been well received by the RU-vid and Instagram Dragonball Community. Seems like another lighting round: epic fail. King Piccolo is sealed and world is safe... Until Raditz shows up. He will still kidnap Gohan to get Goku to act. Goku goes alone or maybe with Krillin to get him back. Goku is weaker than he should be at this point since he didn't fight King Piccolo or Piccolo Jr. and they get stomped. Raditz kills everyone and leaves with Gohan. Gohan probably dies in space some day most likely.
That would be an awesome what if. He should totally have some TFS people to discuss it with him. As for things that could happen when the series rolled into Super... * A running gag in the Goku Black arc where Trunks has PTSD and tries to punch Goku in the face constantly. *Zamasu’s grudge against Goku wouldn’t be out of jealousy for his strength, but rather because Goku is just a giant moron who’s stupidity pisses him off. *Hit and Jiren don’t change at all. They are the only serious characters. The joke is that they are out of place and don’t understand why everyone else acts so strangely. *Caulifla becomes more like a tsudere and Kale acts like a yandere. I don’t know how that would mix when they become Kefla though.

Ok so, Vegeta and Nappa were already talking about a possible rebellion against Lord Frieza while Raditz went off to earth; so I kinda want to know how that first scenario continues lmao. Call it 'What if Goku wasn't alive to stop Raditz'
I wonder if it was a similar mistake that Chris Sabat made during the Universe 6 Saga, where he referred to Goku as Goku in Vegeta's line of dialogue (so likely to be fixed in the home release of the episodes)
In early Dragonball, Demon King Picollo got stronger by wishing for youth on the Dragon Balls. What if someone wished to give Kami youth? How would future events change with Kami being stronger than usual?
What if all the character's moralities were swapped? Basically, what would the Dragonball's mirror universe look like? Freiza is a benevolent emperor and pretty much is what Frost claims to be, Bulma is an evil scientist who's after the dragonballs, the Red Ribbon Army were good guys, Goku is the evil exception to the generally benevolent Saiyans, and stuff like that. ...Probably beyond the scope of what you normally do given just how ridiculous the changes are rather than just a single idea, but I always love the idea of mirror universes myself. Might be a bit crazy to apply the good-evil switch to everything though, because Evil Kais and Good Demons would throw way too may ripples in the timeline to really guess how events would go during Dragonball, Z, and Super.
What if Kami saw Yamcha's potential and decide to nurture it? (This is based on the fact that Yamcha had the strongest ki control capability of the team during the picollo jr saga.
I've really enjoyed the evolution of your what ifs Masako. We have come along way from the basic what ifs of "what if goku didnt bump his head" or "what if goku and vegeta stayed fused" they have become really creative.
No Gohan, Goku and Piccolo get Roflstomped by Raditz(if you believe they can still win, they get roflstomped by cell far later on with no Trunks(as he wasn't trained by Gohan and has a brash attitude during the HoT timeline he will get himself slaughtered before he attempts to use the time machine)
One "what if" I've been wondering for years...what if Cell actually had to fight every Z-fighter? Now in this scenario, Goku isn't keen on handing the reigns over to Gohan, so he doesn't give up. He keeps fighting until he eventually loses to Cell. The question is, could Cell take down every Z-fighter? I mean, none of them were as powerful as him, but after fighting Goku he was fatigued. And that's only going to get worse when you consider Vegeta, Gohan, and Trunks are all tough enough to give a weakened Cell a good fight. And even if he gets past them, he has to fight Piccolo, Tien, Krillan, and Yamcha. And by the time he gets to each of those fighters, his stamina is going to probably be drained to the point where he might be roughly on their level and will have problems putting them down. Ultimately, I see him beating everyone, and declaring victory...until Mr. Satan steps back in the ring. And much to Cell's dismay, he's completely tapped out of Ki. He can't fly, use energy blasts, or even augment his speed or strength. And because he doesn't really know how to fight like a normal human, he gets crushed by Mr. Satan.
What if Tien use the ‘Evil containment wave’ on Nappa instead of tri-beam. Oddly enough I think that this would really spook both Nappa and Vageta. They live to fight and if they were going to go out state want to have a warriors death. But something like being forcibly sealed with in a crockpot doesn’t exactly sound like an epic end to a great warrior.
Wait a minute, for that second What-if where Hit successfully carries out his 'hit' on Goku, couldn't Goku have just been immediately brought back to life by the Namekian Dragonballs? Meaning.... practically nothing changes from the main timeline.
What if Goten was born before Trunks? Kinda a simple What If in theory, but seeing a Future Goten. Maybe having him use the Power Pole instead of of a sword. As for this video, I give this a Kek outa ten.

Again throwing the idea out there what if Cell was allowed to fully gestate in the main timeline? I really think it would be interesting considering he would have the DNA of Shin, Kibito, Babadi, Dabura, Buu, Whis, Beerus, Shisami, Tagoma, Jaco, Champa, Vados and the original universe 6 team due to Champa's silly insistence on playing baseball except Cabba because as Dr. Gero said he believed he collected enough saiyan samples so further samples would not be gathered. I think that would make him a pretty interesting and viable threat.
Majin Buu is old supreme kai (change my mind) *NOT ancestor kai When Shin Kai was east kai and he was serving under a supreme kai. THAT KAI was absorbed with 3 others and never gotten rid of. Watch the Buu season again, when goku and vegeta pull the boys and piccolo out, they never see or pull out those Kai's
When you break into character it blows my mind you’re incredible! And now for my what if questions... What if future trunks participated in the tournament of power and what if piccolo could access god ki?
I've pitched this one before, but: What if the very first Wish on the Dragonballs wasn't interrupted by Oolong? Pilaf becomes the Emperor of Earth, but in all his visions, we've always seen him as a benevolent and beloved ruler. Really, all the conflict between him and the Z-Fighters was always about collecting the balls. He could become an amazing ally to the heroes, even entering the fight himself with the Pilaf Gang in the Pilaf Machine, which, since he's now super wealthy and arguably a genious engineer, and due to his cooperation with Capsule Corp and Goku not wrecking his stuff all the time, might hold up in power until very late in the story and make a huge difference. I think it would make for a very fun What-If.
GTku would throttle his younger counterpart for pissing everyone else off. As for the actual fights? Depends on who's in the GTeam and what the match-ups are.
MASAKO, Do a what if where Hit actually wins the tournament between universe 6 and 7 and what the possible implications of that would be considering the earth would be transferred to the 6th universe.
What if Universe 7 lost the Universe 6 tournament? Since the earths would be switched, wouldn't that mean that goku and everyone else would be in U.6 and fight for them in the T.O.P
Ha. I like it. It's nice to see the occasional response to a big what-if question being "Well, it'd be kinda cool for a while and then everyone dies." If only to just see it addressed as "I could but why?"

What if frieza Didnt hate the sayains and instead hated his parents empire? I think it would be cool to see frieza having to basically follow out his fathers orders, then being tasked with destroying the sayains because his father and brothers fear of a super sayain appearing. He then rebels against the cold empire, and sides with a sayain warrior who wants to end the cold empire and free his race from slavery. (Bardock)
What is Upa joined the Z fighters? He talks about wanting to climb Korin tower after Bora is revived in the Baba saga so you can make a logical jump to him getting stronger and joining the Z fighters if you want.
I'd like a more abstract what if. Less of a singular change what if, but more of a goal what if. Ie. What if dragon Ball super's writing had been interfered with by the publishers like in DBZ and dragon Ball? I.e more character based changes, like an expansion on Goku potentially turning evil without changing his personality. Like how he started showing that his desire to fight holds no allegiance and how it could end with Vegeta being the bitter hero and Goku the angry villain, and a very bittersweet cliffhanger?
One I've thought of before is what if King Piccolo survived his wound, like he was able to regenerate the hole in his chest after spitting up the egg, how would having his father in the picture change Piccolo jr and would raising his son change King Piccolo in any way?
Eh I think that Bulma could have gotten to Namak with the help of Popo and wished back Goku at least, it would have been dangerous to wish back Kami, but it is possible that one of the Namekians would want to come and be the guardian of Earth so then Earth could have it's own set of dragon balls, in which case Goku could go through training to defeat King Piccolo and then Kami could eventually be revived.
What if Bulma made her own robot or an "actual" android? To star out Bulma and her prototype fly over to Kame House, at the beginning of DBZ. The prototype at this point isn't combat orientated, but it has the equivalent to a power level of 200 or so. During the fight with Raditz it probably wouldn't be much help, if at all. After that though it would probably get upgraded for combat to fight the incoming Saiyans. So does anyone want to add to this?
What if Goku got sent to Namek instead of Earth? Plenty of stuff to fall off of, so he could still receive the personality change and maybe be a warrior monk kind of like Nail? With Goku sent to Namek Raditz would still arrive eventually, which may still bring Frieza, and I think that maybe Goku(or whatever he'd be called on Namek) may ask Porunga about finding help to deal with the menace and he may end up seeking out the Earthlings anyway, because we'd have to figure out a world without Goku too. Lot of potential- it could be fun~
Hey Masako have you ever considered a what if cooler went to namek during the Frieza saga. I figure that Cooler could have also heard about the dragon balls from the Saiyans and Namek would turn into a war zone between the Frieza force and the Cooler command

@@kai8517 You're talking about Present Trunks, right? But imagine the Future Timeline--it's just Gohan and a largely inexperienced Trunks, it's Twin Androids VS. Twin Saiyans (and Trunks). Would be interesting to see who lives and who dies in that timeline.

I'd like to see a "what if" crossover, or at least several of the existing ones to reach past the buu arc. I honestly feel like I can't do too much for the fanfic(s) I'm working on till the Gine, fem-goku, gohan (briefs), & cell (21) (& bardok "special" for my "Bardok Special (Kai)" edition) centred what ifs catch up with Raditz & Napa to pass the buu arc. Basically my fic (s) are going to take place in an identital R&R reality, where a severely injured multiverse/reality jumper dose a blind jump through multiple realities, accidentally dragging them with him.
I love how both Jiren's and 17's wishes doomed everything just because of selfish reasons, Jiren wanting his Master alive and 17 wanting a cruise with his wife and children who may or may not be real.
What if Frieza didn't blow up Planet Vegeta? As in, he disregarded the Super Saiyan legend as nothing but a fantasy and thus kept them around. In fact, maybe after Raditz's defeat, Bardock could be sent to Earth instead of Vegeta and Nappa.
what if Future 17 and Future 18 turn good as soon as they activated and allowed Doctor Gero to live but destroying the shutdown switch controller and went to Bulma to get rid of the shutdown switch once and for all
I have a comment on the first speed run what if Goku and Roshi dad, would have motivation to try to figure out how the dragon balls work, and Mr. Popo would do the same reveal that he would’ve in the original Z, sure might’ve taken longer to get there, but no immediate threat to Namic make a wish Goku alive, when writer shows up, rabbit shows up rabbits
How about this what if A arc where the fusions turn into villains. The heroes learn that fusion does more than make them more powerful, thet make a new person with their own mind and thoughts. Vegito is the first one to turn against the heroes, because he wants to take Vegeta and Gokus place as strongest sayian. I know that this is not perfect but I thought that this would be kinda cool.
What if ginu took frieza's body? Super implied that ginu was stronger in Tagomas body due to his experience, wouldn't that also apply to frieza in the namik saga due to his power being only from his natural body?
What if... And here me out here... Frieza AND Cell came back to life as a villain double for the tournament of power? Who would he replace? Tien. How would he replace him? The Assassins end up attacking the universe 7 team (while Goku is talking to Frieza) & the leader uses the Hakai energy on whole group but Tien blocks it to save them all. Why would this be a good idea for a what if? Well... it could create an interesting dynamic where Cell could take on a pseudo-Teacher roll for Frieza. Trying to give him pointers during the T.O.P. on things like how to scenes energy or the Instant Transmission. I also kind wonder how Cell's Explosion + Regeneration + Ability Steal thing would work in the T.O.P... Could he let himself be punched by G.O.D. Toppo & become a G.O.D. himself? Of could he re-absorb 17 & 18 to create a Perfect Squared version of himself? Questions for another time.
