Little correction on your first what if : if beerus hakai-ed Freiza, earth would be destroyed during Cell suicide bombing attack. Since Goku never disapeared on Metamol planet after the Namek saga, he'd never have learned instant transmission and thus never had been able to transport Cell to King Kai's planet
The Generational Kamehameha and Galic Gun would be a thing. The Briefs would become Royalty. Goku & Bardock would have awkward bonding time followed by awesome training. Of course No Mention of Raditz. I'd honestly love a moment where Bardock could meet Grandpa Gohan. Meet the man who raised his son.
Ashutosh Joshi Tbh that's my hopes for Post Tournament of Power. Vegeta being my favorite character, I'd love to see him claim his birthright. It's fitting since the Briefs are rich anyway. I feel like Toriyamas had it plotted for a while. That beautiful genius
Well what if catching Frieza of guard with the overwhelming force of all the Saiyan Elites along side King Vegeta, some of them in the oozaru form, and kill Frieza before the death ball. How buch would change...... I know it's a stretch but I think it would make for a good movie plus it wouldn't be the craziest idea Toriyama has done.
Transformed Zarbon's power level is higher than Vegeta's 30 000 but still low enough to easily be killed by him when taken by surprise, leaving us a rough guess of 34 000 from Dragon Ball Z: Goku Gekitōden. With Frreeza’s 530 000, Dodoria’s 22 000, Cui’s 18 000 and an unkown number of Soldiers averaging 2 000 we’ve 604 000 if Zarbon has time to transform and 596 000 otherwise. For the Saiyans: we’ve King Vegeta at 10 000, a few mid class Saiyans between the King and Raditz’s 1 200 (Nappa for example), I’ll say off planet due to lack of specifics, and according to Dragon Ball Minus, a few thousand (so at least 3000) low class saiyans, let’s say averaging one Raditz. Bardock is a bit of an unknown at nearly 10 000 pre near death from Dodoria and unknown after (though still enough to best many, many Freeza soldiers). So the King’s 10 000, Bardock’s ~10 000-ish and the 3 000 Saiyan’s 1 200 each gives us a whopping 3 620 000. If all the Saiyans were able to combine their power into one massive ki attack, Freeza would have to transform into his final form for to be able to summon forth adequate power to beat the Saiyans' attack , or have about 1810 soldiers on the ship (I doubt he has that many but who knows). Between the anime and manga we have Freeza's final transformation from his third form either taking an absurd amount of time (anime) or enough for Krillin to blast Vegeta through his chest, Dende to refuse to heal him, Dende heal Piccolo, Piccolo tell Dende to heal Vegeta and Dende to finally heal Vegeta. Possibly enough time for the Saiyans to kill him Assuming the Saiyans could work together perfectly and fire one massive attack off, I give them the victory as I think Freeza wouldn't think it necessary, or worth his time and effort, to turn to his true form until it was too late. Considering the Saiyans' attitude, I doubt they would all agree to it, some would want to do it one way, some another; factions would create then splinter once again, resulting in multiple factions too weak to best Freeza individually. Or maybe the Saiyans do unite under one banner, show a united force to fight Freeza. Freeza decides to pick his battles, he is rather intelligent, and either leaves to return later and wipe them out, or after seeing a united Saiyan, Freeza shows them "the ultimate poiwer ... more fearsome than death itself" to show them how truly pitiful their united forces really are compared to his true power. Realistically, I still give it to Freeza, but it's an interesting concept that could have changed things until King Cold came around to wipe them out and the story continues as normal with King Cold/a canon Cooler replacing Freeza.
I would assume that King Cold would return to Planet Vegeta and kill the Saiyan race and planet. By this time Goku's pod would have left so there would be no change to Coku's development to Earth unless King Cold decides to kill every single living Saiyan which would likely not be worth his time. Since King Cold offered Trunks a position in his clan after killing Freeza, showing that he does respect power above almost all else I imagine he would keep prince Vegeta around, perhaps minus Nappa, perhaps with Nappa. King Cold would likely keep his involvement in the destruction of Planet Vegeta a secret from the prince as Freeza did in an attempt to pacify him, but as with Freeza, Vegeta would suspect. Now, since Vegeta did plan on wiping out Freeza he would likely feel the same way about King Cold with one difference; Vegeta vastly underestimated Freeza's power increase from transformation, believing himself capable of besting a transformed Freeza after quickly fighting Freeza in his forst form, however (to my knowledge) King Cold has his full power without any transformations, allowing Vegeta to get a better reading on his true power (estimated to be somewhere around final form Freeza's 100%, which is 120 000 000 according to Daizenshuu 7). Considering Vegeta's obsession with revenge he would likely try to increase his power more than with Freeza, possibly unknowingly taking Bardock's strategy and pushing himself to near death in order to increase his power (four near deaths put his power from 18 000 to upwards of 1 000 000, high enough to see final form Freeza's movements but not high enough to stand up against him). Assuming Raditz survived and goes to Earth, beats up Goku, Piccolo and the gang, I could see the story altering a bit and either ending there or continuing as normal. With Goku's power level in the Saiyan saga capping during his Kaio-ken times four at 32 000 in the manga and 36 004 in the anime, but only for a moment, it seems that if Vegeta had but two more near death experiences, putting his power at 30 000, he would completely dominate Goku except for that short burst (somewhat akin to the Kaio-ken times 20 against Freeza, but slightly more effective). This is without Vegeta turning to great ape form.} Here's where things get interesting; we have two possible major scenarios, with the second also branching off into two similar scenarios. First, Vegeta wins, outright, likely with no need to transform into great ape form. He continues training and fighting until he believes he can kill King Cold which, without Super Saiyan, likely does not go in his favour. This seems unlikely as it ends the story and people wouldn't like that. The second is that Vegeta, toying with Goku and the other Z fighters, kills Krillin and/or Gohan, causing Goku to transform. This is where it splits again: the true super Saiyan form and the false super Saiyan form. The true super Saiyan (SSJ) transformation is simple, a fifty times multiplier, putting Goku's 8 000 (manga) to 400 000 or 9 001 (anime) to 450 050, high enough to beat great ape Vegeta without too much difficulty, and MasakoX's kid Goku idea would carry out with Goku just being stronger due to a later SSJ transformation than the video (Goku would probably spare Vegeta as he tried to do with Freeza multiple times). False super Saiyan (Lord Slug movie transformation, short form typically being FSSJ) is a bit trickier. I am unaware of any official statements of Slug's power (I've seen everywhere between 300 000 and 150 000 000) or the FSSJ multiplier, so this is speculation and estimation. Based off Toriyama saying the movies are at a similar points in time and having villains with similar power levels to the manga at release and FSSJ was intended to be SSJ initially (we hadn't seen anime SSJ only manga, so it was plausible at the time) it would seem Slug's max at normal size (where we saw FSSJ) is somewhere around 50% Freeza, probably a bit weaker. This puts FSSJ somewhere around a thirty to thirty five times multiplier (let's say thirty two and a half times). That would put Goku at 260 000 (manga) or 292532.5 (anime), either way, slightly less than Oozaru Vegeta's 300 000. Seeing as the Oozaru form multiplies power by ten but seemingly not speed (Goku was still able to dodge great ape Vegeta's attacks) I doubt Vegeta would be able to hit Goku enouigh times to turn the fight in his favour. However, this is Vegeta we're talking about; he has a back-up plan. Preparing to fire his Oozaru mouth cannon attack at the Earth to destroy it, he tells Goku what he plans to do so they can do the beam clash as in the normal Saiyan arc. Unable to Kaio-ken in FSSJ (I assume, the form wasn't around long enough to figure it's limits out), Goku cannot summon adequate power to overpower Vegeta's mouth cannon. This is where Yajirobe comes in and cuts off Vegeta's tail, reverting him to his normal form and Goku likely losing FSSJ due to surprise/time limit as he did when Slug ripped his arm off. If Gohan still lives (Krillin triggers FSSJ), we get the Gohan against injured Vegeta (from FSSJ beating him up until he resorted to the mouth cannon), turning Oozaru himself, falling on Vegeta etc. If Krillin still lives instead of Gohan, I see Krillin holding Vegeta off (maybe just being a punching bag) while Goku charges a spirit bomb, Vegeta sees the bomb, beats up Goku, Goku (seriously injured) gives Krillin the spirit bomb and Krillin hits Vegeta, it beats him but Goku asks Krillin to let him go as per normal. Remember these are to that other characters get show time, not because I think Krillin can hold his own against injured Vegeta (even Gohan is iffy). If both Krillin and Gohan died to trigger FSSJ, Goku fights Vegeta, Vegeta comes out ahead, Goku charges spirit bomb and throws it at Vegeta (he has to show off his new technique as per DBZ rules), it hits/Yajirobe bounces it back and it puts Vegeta out of the fight. Goku spares Vegeta and Namek happens with Goku maybe not ever touching FSSJ again as he never seemed to remember or mention it after beating Slug. Again FSSJ is purely speculation and estimation through what I've read and heard in Toriyama's interviews, as is the Slug power level, either way a thirty-two and a half modifier seems reasonable to me. I'm also putting Vegeta's power at 30 000 as his next jump puts him on par with first form Freeza who is 530 000. Sorry for the novella but I wanted to try to cover multiple angles of how I could see the Saiyan saga going with a dead Freeza (and for my typing getting lazier as it goes on, long work day today).
Ryan McEachern I get it. College and work got me beat, but i do respect the fact that you did cover all angles. I hope MasakoX cover this one I'm curious on how he see things playing out.
goku wouldn't have died, gohan potential would never show,no kaioken,no zenkai, vegeta and nappa would devastate goku and the other fighters without too much problems and that would end z
Actually a viable tactic due to the "no killing rule" - he's so weak that pretty much the slightest tap will end him, disqualifying the offending universe.
Pretty much what caolan said. Vegeta's rage is such an inmense power boost that I think even MU Goku would struggle against vegeta. We don't know the full extent of the power of gods but assuming they're as strong as they can be they would have to go pretty much all out to defeat him and lowballing them they would get stomped by Vegeta's rage.
Wait, if Vegeta killed Buu with his self destruct.. wouldn't Goku have just gone back to the afterlife? I mean Goku wasn't even being wished back/panicking to stay with Buu rampaging around. So without Buu he'd of just gone back to training in other world.
Not necessarily. He probably would have realized that Buu happened despite his absence, which was his original reason for wanting to stay dead, and probably would have come to the realization that his staying dead to begin with was pointless, and would then request that the others bring him back to life anyways.
I don't think so, sadly. He met Goten and didn't even seem like he wanted to be revived. Funimation dubbed Goku might want to, but if we were following Goku's intended personality then I think he'd rather go back to the afterlife and train more. If there was ever going to be a point where Goku returned to life, it'd probably be with Beerus. It'd follow the same events as the movie. Beerus goes to King Kai's planet, Goku is dead and they face off. Goku fails to win, then Beerus goes to Earth and the Vegeta stuff happens. Once again they use the dragon balls to learn of the God ritual and.. the lack of Saiyans make them wish him back / he begs to be wished back in order to fight Beerus again.
But look at it from his point of view. His life's goal isn't to train forever. It's to fight strong opponents. The fact that he would have, essentially, missed the fight with Buu just because he was dead, would have vexed him greatly, and he wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to fight someone strong again because of that. I admit, the situation could easily go the way you say it would, but it really boils down to whether or not he was more interested in training with unlimited power in the world of the dead, and fighting a bunch of other dead guys who are swiftly becoming much weaker than he is, or training in the world of the living and having the opportunity to fight someone who can give him a challenge again. And quite frankly, Goku is far more interested in challenging fights. Training is just a means to have said challenging fights.
i just realised... there'd be no instant transmission if beerus came... theres a chance trunks wouldnt have been born... where was all of that? but it was a nice video
Akshay Sundru - that's what I was thinking! The body count would have looked very different. Honestly I'm not sure why Goku never taught anyone else. Seems a little selfish/short sighted.
In the event of Majin Vegeta beating Buu, Goku probably wouldn't have ever come back to life. He only did it because he was needed to defeat Super Buu and Old Kai was there to help him out with it. Without the need to do it, Goku would have just gone back to otherworld. Further, Old Kai probably wouldn't have ever been removed from the sword because Gohan and Supreme Kai would probably stop training.
Basically everyone would die pretty quickly, except Vegeta might put up some of a fight, unless Ginyu could use kaioken. Ginyu might rebel against Frieza, but probably not
Phenomenal One -Christan Brooks, haven't you seen the Ginyu arc, he does that but fails badly because he is not able to access any of Goku's techniques because Goku's power comes from perfect coordination of mind and body.
1. They wouldn't have redone the movies 2. Buu and Gohan would have actually fought in the Universe 6 tournament. 3. The Universe 6 fighters would actually be interesting characters. 4. The other characters besides Goku and Vegeta would have done somthing for most of the show. 5. Power levels would remain consistent 6. Trunks wouldn't be such a mary sue 7. They wouldn't have Brought back Frieza AGAIN! 8. Caulifla wouldn't be such a mary sue.
Um...........the universe 6 characters are good so far...they need to tho.......second, other characters then Goku and Vegeta have been used since the Future Trunks arc..........Mai,Yoraijrobe,Trunks,Krillin,18,Buu,17,Piccolo,Gohan, all the fighters in the Tournament of Power......I mean.....that statement is false, Super more then any series since the original DB has used it's none Saiyan characters well, sometimes it doesn't make sense, but they have been used.......
Right, but at that time Gohan is only 5. I dont think he would be able to hold the transformation for more than a few minutes. Also think of Vegeta, A 5 year old kid managed to transform into the legendary Super Saiyan before the prince of all Saiyans could and with such a low power level. I would love to see his reaction.
A few personal points: 1. I think a far more interesting point for Beerus waking up early would be would Whis wake him up to deal with Buu? 2. Gokan would have not had the personality of Vegeta raising the ego 1000%; I doubt that he would have taken the risk of letting Buuccolo live and instead would have killed him off to revive everyone with the Namekian dragonballs.
yessss you have quickly become my most loved dbz ranter bro. i thought of a couple you may like to. What if Vegeta's wish on Namek actually happened when he made it, just everyone assumed it failed. They could all go on having no clue until Vegeta realizes he should be dead, maybe that and some zenki boosts and he could rival freeza? who knows. What if Goku's tail kept growing back? could he meow do something like ssblue and ozaru form?!... that's be crazy useful for tournament of power lol. what if yamcha was chosen to fill the final slot instead of freezer xD
Then Vegeta would've mocked Nappa's corpse, and went on to personally kill off the Z-fighters Considering how no-nonsense Vegeta was, Goku would've arrived too late.
Wilfred Cthulu He did. In the manga, at least, Son Goku specifically mentions that he got enough energy transferred to him to move and escape Namek. Never enough to actually do much. Much less touch a SSJ. ~ TDG
Wilfred Cthulu I think it would play out the same with Frieza heading to Earth and being destroyed by Trunks. Unless for some reason his outlook completely changes then he trains for a month then goes to Earth and wrecks everyone.
There is one HUUUUGE failure in logic. I don't remember Namek being known for it's culinary atributes. No munchy, no safety. Beerus would most likely Hakkai Namek himself.
Yes, I think he would have. Vegeta did his suicide attack before Goku was revived by the elder kai so yeah, no need to bring Goku back. He'd stay in the afterlife with the other fighters.
Ralph Daniel Jacob depending on when he arrives, none of the z-fighters die. Trunks knocks Vegeta out for sure instead of killing him. Nappa on the other hand...
See, there's many questions. Will Trunks really act considering that he must not change the timeline? This would mean he would watch z-fighters die. If he did prevented these deaths, will there be a chance Vegeta and Bulma would mate in the future and produce him? Will Namek and Freeza be out of the picture? Masako please consider this :(
If he is stuck he will act, and if he sees Gohan in danger he will act because of his bond with future Gohan. If he doesn't act or change anything, what is the point of the what if? You want him to just hide till his time machine recharges and then go home and try again?
Something needs to be pointed out about the Majin Vegeta what if, without the need for Gohan to go to the world of the kais, Goku would never be revived and Gohan would be a lot weaker.
1. What if Gohan went SSJ2 fully in the ROSAT? Would he have fought first? Been less cocky? Have finished Cell quicker? 2. What if Mr Satan never went to the Cell Games? Would #16 have given Gohan his pep talk? Would the world not have listened when Goku made the genki dama against Buu? Would the X warriors be the famous/loved ones?
TeeJayVocz Not sure about the former, but for the latter, they would still give energy as I he'd still steal the credit. It might've taken longer for Gohan to transform, but once someone dies, he'd ascend. Unless it was Goku, which seems to have the opposite effect. More of sadness, feeling crushed and hopelessness than anger really.
Quick point: the fact that Goku will have gone back to earth after meeting Beerus means he won't have gone to Yardrat to learn Instant Transmission - may be a small point but its been an incredibly handy technique that's saved a lot of characters throughout Z!
What if Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Vegeta, Gohan, Shin, Yamu, and Spopovitch never left the world tournament? How do you think the Tournament would have played out? Just a refresher, at the time they left, Krillin have moved on to round 2, as had Shin and Spopovitch. Also important to keep in mind that most, if not all of Buu's energy came from the Z-Fighters fighting Babadi's minions so there shouldn't be a huge risk of him reviving in the middle without Yamu and Spopovitch jumping Gohan.
Than the namekians couldn't make the wish to get off planet namek, resulting the end of the namekian race by the explosion of Namek. Chiaotzu remains dead, no more Dragonballs at all when Piccolo fuses with Kami, Trunks remains dead after being killed by Cell and after the Buu saga everyone will be dead because they no longer have a planet of energy to fuel the spiritbomb to kill Buu.
No it won't, Goku litterally declared that he wanted to fight Frieza at full strength. Therefore, Frieza would still go to final form and everything plays out just as it did. Something Masako might have forgotten while making the "What if Goku became a super saiyan earlier" video. For reference, chapter 321 or somewhere around that.
Jacob Weatherford That's a huge one. Gero would probably study him hard and somehow find out Goku is a Saiyan. Goku would be a monster under the Red Ribbon Army.
Okay a couple of What If's for you: What If Vegeta decided to take over Freiza's empire? Lots of interesting scenarios there, like a power struggle between Vegeta, King Cold, and Cooler (if you include movie stuff). While I can imagine Vegeta would be more interested in surpassing Goku, I'm sure he could find a way to use Frieza's army and technology to his advantage somehow. This scenario could even change depending on whether he started his empire building after he had started a relationship with Bulma or not. What If Chi-Chi decided to keep training after her tournament fight with Goku? I honestly think Goku and Chi-Chi's relationship would be a lot healthier if they were sparring partners as well as a married couple, that could change a few things. How would a Chi-Chi who was still fighting affect the Saiyan saga?
That wouldn't really change anything. We just wouldn't have skipped over the RoF arc, which really didn't contribute anything significant to the story. It was our first exposure to SSB, but it it wasn't a catalyst for SSB, so we'd have still gotten it. The only thing it would really affect is the current arc, ie Freeza wouldn't be as strong as he currently is, so maybe Goku wouldn't have insisted on him. But that's it.
Nisbettron9000 That'd be a weird fanfic, especially if they had kids and stuff. That whole "fanfics about humans who exist" thing always seemed weird to me.
remember who long it would take to go super saiyan 3? well..then again, everyone in the series seems to have patience when their opponent is screaming.
Draco I feel like when they wait its because they don't want to get caught in the energy field like how Krillien got shocked when he was near Trunks when he was hulking up
Vegeta would probably get mad and fight him out of frustration. Goku will probably beat him and knock some sense on Vegeta while telling him that due to his Super Saiyan 3 his time on earth diminishes and probably fades into the afterlife again. While Vegeta accept his defeat and feels bad about the nonsense he had cause about buu. Vegeta will now blow himself up to kill buu due to him feeling guilt and giving up his pride. same outcome but the following events might differ like. No Vegetto. Mystic Gohan would probably not goof around Buu because his father ain't there. (let's be honest, he relies to much on Goku and doesn't believe in his own strength) Vegeta may not be given a 2nd chance.
No. If trunks wasn’t a thing, Goku would’ve just instant transmissioned and killed Frieza. If trunks was the only one capable of killing mecha frieza, who killed mecha frieza in trunks’s timeline?
He'd go unchecked, no Z-Fighters to stop him, he'd start with destroying Earth, then as he traveled through space, he'd find Freeza, erasing him from existence. Eventually he'd either wake up Beerus, or come across Whis, leading to either Beerus or Whis ending him.
TheVuduYuDu all of Dragonball would be fodder and Broly likely kills any Saiyan that comes to Earth to get him. Depending on the multiplier for his lssj form, and how much he trains, plus how strong the Androids are as a result he either easily beats them or dies. Also, no Gohan and no Trunks.
my verion, but Goku is still sent to earth. ;) First of all, I would explain that by lack of training I didn't mean the total absence of it, only that which "instantly" raises the power level so he would still be learning martial art, Ki control, and other techniques. He would have become more spiritual compared to Goku. I imagine it like this: Paragus and doctors after the birth of Broly notice that he is different and put him in isolation. The rest looks similar to the original story, but this time Paragus manages to send his son to Earth and so he replaces Goku (including his name) and raised by Grandpa Gohan but during the first transformation his tail was cut off. Because Broly was naturally strong at some point once he wanted to boast of energy ball he did but lost control and accidentally killed Grandpa Gohan. Traumatized by this event he decided to stop training (become more peaceful etc) and focus on meditation and controlling emotions. The rest of the story looks the same (Bulma finds Broly (Goku), they go on adventure together, etc.) with the difference that Broly is much stronger than her opponents, and the Red Ribbon Army's robots are stronger than the original (eg by one zero) and less death among comrades and enemies, maybe only King Piccolo was killed, and characters like Raditz and Nappa could join him because they would believed that he is a mythical Legendary Super Saiyan. In "Vegeta Saga" Broly (Goku) as an adult would have a power level a little weaker than Vegeta (still without training) and only after Vegeta escape, Broly would realize that there are beings stronger than him, which would motivate him to back to training. Namek Saga: Very SimilarFrieza Saga: Also very similar but instead of Super Saiyan transformation we see Legendary Super Saiyan transformation. Then Broly literally destroys Frieza in his final form and at the same time unintentionally destroying Namek. Affected by this he decided not to use this form ever again. Trunks Saga: Same Androids Saga: Also similar, only with the difference that to 16, 17 and 18 is added new Android (let's call him Dr. Gero Jr.). Who turns out to be Kakarot. In the flashbacks we learn that Kakarot capsule got into the Red Ribbon Army training ground, by what Dr. Gero decides to raise him as his own son and successor, but noticing the lack of intelligence, he decides to improve him intellectually, increasing his intelligence (thus earning him a Ph.D.), strength, ki, etc. and Thanks to the study of Saiyan biology Dr. Gero could better improve his machines. In addition, it allowed 17 and 18 to achieve the Super Saiyan form. Forcing Broly to achieve a weaker form of the Legendary Super Saiyan (Super Saiyan God Video). Cell Saga: Cell after absorption 17 and 18, and Kakarot he has attained the Ultimate (Ultimate Cell) form which was more human (no wings and "crown") eg. dragon-ballaf.webs.com/photos/Villans/1-1.png . and just like DBZ Broly (Goku) dies and Gohan gets SS2 and kills Cell. Only in the Buu Saga Broly would again activate the true form of the Legendary Super Saiyan (as SS3 replacement), but now he can fully controlling this form. In general because Broly would be so strong he would have to constantly control his emotions and himself by rarely staying at home, showing emotions and pushing back people, in addition he would trained alone because he would be afraid to kill someone, so Piccolo would train Gohan and help him achieved SS1 form. But still he would be very positive eg by urging Yamcha to drink water that could kill him because he believed that Yamcha is worthy. Gohan would be naturally stronger in this version, and Piccolo could be bigger father figure then in original. :)
One part I feel was left out of the "What if Beerus woke up early" part is that the Androids would have ended up much stronger than they already were. Goku not being forced to take a Sayian pod off Namik would have probably taken Bulma's ship or would have been taken to earth with the dragons wish. This would mean NO Yardrat training and NO instant transmission. Goku would have been on earth for roughly an extra year and presumably training in that time and with no instant transmission I feel Doctor Gero would have taken notice of him again at this point and monitored him more closely (as you know he isn't popping back and forth and thus becoming impossible to track for most people). Gero would have seen Goku learning to master Super Saiyan and made himself, the androids and Cell more powerful to combat this. Also I think Gohan would have been a Super Saiyan by the time the androids arrived with the extra year of training
You missed that In The Buu Saga Goku Was Dead ! He returned for 24h To participante in the tournament , and when it will come to an end Goku will return to the Overworld. BtW He didnt want To be revived so Shenron will eventually revive Everyone but Goku
You're just a great storyteller man damn! When you were describing the Beerus what if, I started visualising it in my head and literally got some chills. Fantastic stuff Masako!
nate brooks No Uub. Bulma becomes the only wife because Chi-Chi is finally fed up with not being able to live life in a normal family. The kids would likely spend more time with Daddy Vegito and train more, becoming stronger. Vegito becomes the Super Saiyan God by convenience of him counting as two Saiyans on one body. Whis doesn't need to teach the lesson of how Goku acts too much on instinct with Vegeta not being instinctual enough. Frieza doesn't blow up Earth. Gohan in the Universe 6 arc. I... Honestly see no difference in the Future Trunks arc. Maybe Vegito makes sure to actually grab the seal and not a Cabaret Club coupon (manga). Universe 7 would probably need to invite Yamcha for the Universe Survival arc just to fill out a slot.
the one thing that would be great about if this happened is bra would theoretically be insanely powerful considering how strong vegito would be at the time of bras conception Also goku black arc could be very different because instead of goku black its vegito black which could make merged zamasu an extremely powerful foe
masako you got something wrong there, if buu was killed off by vegeta's attack. goku would have had to go to other world cause the z sword would have never been broken, elder kai would never have given away his life to goku so he could go down and help gohan against buu, the fusion would have never been taught to goten and trunks, vegito would have never been a thing neither would have kibito kai cause again no elder kai to tell them about potara, and beerus would have come down in search of the super saiyan god, goku isn't there to become the super saiyan god and that would have been the end of earth and the z fighters and universe 7 would have been destroyed by xeno since goku isn't there to peek xeno's interest for the universe surival arc. so there. just wanted to point that out to you because you missed out those key details
While I understand Majin Vegeta not destroying Buu in the series because the conflict would have ended too quickly, but it would have been such a great end to the saga as it would mean one of main three Saiyans (Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta) would have each defeated a saga's titular villain (Goku/Frieza, Gohan/Cell, and Vegeta/Buu and Goku and Vegeta essentially reaching a stalemate at the end of the Saiyan Saga).
Bardock wasn't evil as Dragon Ball Minus shows. Most likely he would have just trained Goku in order to prepare him to fight Freeza, making Goku much more powerful especially if he turned Super Saiyan.
and what about after that? i get the basics of the fight (probably) but i have a feeling it would mess the shit out of the rest of the plot, and that's why i kinda want masako to do it
"Goku! This is the God of Destruction, Beerus! He is really strong and not meant to be trifled with!" "Hey King Kai, did you say trifle? I love trifle!"
Man Masako, I really hope you're the voice of Whis if TFS ever decides to do Super. Not to sound rude, but you can really do that "High and mighty" feel that Whis has.
What if nappa went super saiyan befor vegeta tried to kill him he would be up set that the only saiyan he knew tried to destroy him well he might have been up set.
I have a few. 1: What if Future Gohan survived? 2: What if Zamasu took the body of Beerus instead of Goku? 3: What if Trunks killed Zamasu before he fused? 4: What if Super Buu killed Vegito? And finally, 5: What if Vegeta killed Goku on Namek? Btw number 4 is my favorite. Plz use one of these Masako!
I came up with this What If after thinking some more about your Goten video and your "What If Future Gohan Survived" video: "What If There was a Future Goten?" I know you don't like to change Future Trunks' timeline too much, but just think about it for a second. Goku goes an extra year without dying from the heart virus and Goten is born. Goku succumbs to the virus later on, and the Androids kill everyone except Gohan. Gohan trains both Trunks and Goten, but neither of them makes any real progress. Gohan eventually knocks them out and dies in battle just like in the History of Trunks. Only this time, Trunks and Goten both become Super Saiyans after finding Gohan's body. They try to avenge him 3 years later, but get their asses kicked by 17 and 18. Maybe then Future Trunks and Future Goten travel back to the past together and the Android and Cell Saga plays out differently. The reason I came up with this scenario is because, like you, I'm kinda pissed about Goten's lack of actual growth and development. Plus, the closet thing we've got to an older Goten is GT Goten, and although he's a ladies man, he's not the best character. Everyone prefers Future Trunks to Kid, and later GT Trunks, so I figured putting Goten in the same position as Future Trunks would round out his character more and lead to some real development.
Hey what if Goku did not choose Frieza to join the universe 7 team? Who else would he consider? would Yamcha get a chance if no one dead could participate?
I would probably choose Pikkon instead, because he beat Cell, King Cold, and Frieza in seconds with just one move. His power also rivals that of SSJ3 Goku.
Here's an idea for the continuation of the first one: Bringing up the Super Saiyan God legend to Goku could have him ask Shenron like in Battle of Gods for knowledge and once he brings up the ritual, Goku decides to get more Saiyans, maybe revive some old ones, come across Tarble and Broly very early on and when Bulma and/or Chi-Chi get pregnant, they essentially have enough Saiyans for the job, which can lead to SSG being revealed far earlier.
**_{WARNING: I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW LONG THIS WOULD ACTUALLY BE UNTIL AFTER I WROTE IT SO ITS LONG AS SHIT}_** Then it would be Gohan who went super saiyan first and not his father and he would attack with great anger and fury, though this fight would be short lived and either a) Freeza would kill EVERYONE and set his sights for Earth b) Freeza would kill Gohan first, setting Goku to transform but Freeza would have noted to power spike in the brat compared to earlier and kills Goku before he has the chance just to be safe c) Freeza would kill Gohan first, setting Goku to transform and Freeza not giving a crap because it didn't make much difference when one monkey went blond so why bother stopping this one I personally find b the most likely as Freeza may be vain and cocky at times but he isn't stupid. He can spot a potential threat and would try to avert it. Even if it is coming from a monkey. If c were to occur however then the fight would play out as it did in the anime with only minor but large differences as everything would be fucked cause Piccolo is dead and they've got no McGuffin to wish anyone back and there is a chance that Goku, Bulma, and Krillin would end up dead due to namek only having 5 actual minutes before it went kaboom But if none of them died [meaning they found a pod big enough to hold all three of them] then Freeza would still set his sights on Earth [not realizing the dragon balls were dead there too], but Goku and Krillin would use their instant transmission ability to stop him and his dad just in time, though regretful about their failures on Namek Then the heart virus would still hit Goku, and Gero wouldn't bother with 17 & 18 and just attack, Krillin would only barely survive because he's been living on the low since Goku's death. He meets with Bulma and they decide to build a time machine to go back in time and stop Freeza from killing Piccolo while also provoking the ssj transformation from Goku on top of giving him the heart medicine right away. Krillin would most likely be sent to just before Goku left for Namek. He would travel with his buddy to both help him train and make sure he achieves the ssj transformation. And also to make sure that Goku fights his baser instincts and kills Freeza immediately. No transforming into his 2nd or even 3rd form. Krillin would scold him relentlessly over this matter. If the plan set forth went off without a hitch and Freeza is long dead by the time our heroes gather the dragon balls [and Krillin has a chance to high five his past self] then the namekians never lose their first home and not only would Piccolo and Gohan be alive but the team has a new group of friends to hang with as well as a new set of dragon balls to use on demand. Future Krillin would then pop back to his own time only to find that he just made an alternate timeline and would go back to 1) Ask one of the namekians to pretty please come to his timeline and bring back Shrenron and make the wishes you think he's gonna make and 2) Ask Goku to help Krillin with _his_ android problem as soon as his own is taken care of. And with that comes a whole new can of worms involving the Cell saga that I'll allow you to handle cause my head is hurting here...
Eltrio2 that was a very intersecting take but I do believe gohan would go super sayain krillin and possibly probably goku would back him seeing his son some what combat him but I do by all mines like yours that's just the way I thought it would go and I probably would include more
Plus gohans anger would get him a max of one million and multiply that by 50 is good enough to fight Frieza and a masenko would deal probably a lot and if krillin and goku back him they may have a chance or gohan could hold him off to let goku and krillin escape but it is much more likely they would help and could see frieza kill krillin as well possibly giving goku super sayian or giving gohan more anger
Me popo would have probably revived everyone before piccolo died and it just took a while to reach another planet so when they see the dragon krillin probably runs to get dende so goku can join the fray, is this of course implying the revive just reached Jamel as soon as piccolo died and if it did take longer krillin had not died yet
Didn't think about it,if he did he would know about SSB,SSG,Beerus and abit of me being probably stronger than Goku and Vegeta so the potara fusion is needed
CummyOn YoBummy If Cell was allowed to live the computer program that changes Cell would have info on how Future Cell was defeated so would make Present Cell much more powerful. Getting Cells from Beerus/Buu/Supreme Kai would create a massive problem and would fuck over a different timeline most likely (current timeline would still be too strong and Beerus could still hakai him).
For the Majin Vegeta thing, I think that alternate timeline is where Fusion Reborn takes place. Vegeta kills Buu, the world is saved, but he is not wished back to life bc he can't be wished back twice. Goku returns to Otherworld and properly passes on the torch to Gohan and the kids, which allows Fusion Reborn to happen as we see it in the movie.
The what if with Beerus might have a bigger impact then thought of, like with the fact there IS a possible SSG, the gang might be curious and try to find it, which leaves them all the time from Then to Battle of gods, with all the times of peace to think "hey, remember that purple God guy, he mentioned this Super saiyan god, and i got nothing going on today, let's collect the Dragon balls and see what's up"
Hey Masako. I'm asking you this here because you're pretty much the biggest font of DBZ knowledge I have. I'm probably somewhat behind on Super, and have just gotten to the episode where the deal with Freeza had been struck. and I'm thinking now. When Goku was allowed back for a day, didn't he sort of abuse his spirit state to overpower a stance he shouldn't have been able to because of physical and stamina limitations? I recall something like it. And isn't the only reason Freeza couldn't maintain gold form because of a similar, unused to the state, physical and stamina limit? Doesn't this mean that basically, Freeza's limit has been lifted in a similar way?
