Sorry for the inconvenience: Once his ten-year sentence was served, Anakin and his family moved to Naboo where they would reside. His children were only ten years old, meaning they still had their entire lives together. Padme had forgiven Anakin a long time ago, knowing that everything he had done was out of fear of losing his family. Anakin had survived his darkest moments, and through this perseverance, found love with his family. He rekindled his friendship with Obi-Wan and Ahsoka, and although he wanted nothing to do with the Jedi order again, he was pleased that they survived and were continuing to protect the republic. Anakin Skywalker lived happily ever after, at the lakehouse on Naboo with Padme and his children… The End.

Theres one thing that was left out here. In the novelization of Revenge of the sith it describes that almost immediately after Obi Wan defeated Anakin on Mustafar, Palpatines ship hovered over them. This is one of the reasons why Obi-Wan got out of there so quick, because he knew he could never defeat Darth Sidious. However if Windu was there its likely he would argue to stay and battle Sidious. He would be confident because of the fact that he had defeated Sidious just a few days earlier. And its likely Windu and Kenobi would defeat and kill Sidious.

I would really love to see a Star Wars "What if...?" series. Marvel has a "What if...?" series so I don't see why Star Wars can't. They're both owned by Disney so it shouldn't be impossible.

There is no way Sidious would have been surprised. He would have sensed the power of the Jedi coming as soon as they landed on Coruscant. Plus, He had defeated Yoda, but knew that Yoda and Obi Wan were alive and would come after him together. Everyone always asssumes Sidious became complacent after he became Emperor. The truth is, he had plans upon plans to ensure his safety and security. PLus, the three jedi would have used a lot of power fighting their way to his office, giving him time to prepare. And giving Palpatine time to prepare is all he needs.

I think there's alot of things wrong with this, firstly vapaad wouldnt work on anakin, as he hasnt given himself to dark side fully, which meant he has more of a chance, also kfv easily defeats mace or obi wan in a 1v1 fight, so if they did win it would take a lot longer, and its very possible that mace would die throughout the duel as he didn't know anakin's moves like obi wan did and he could be overwhelmed, anakin's hate for mace would also amplify his powers even more, hence its not out of the question that he could win the duel, however unlikely, also sidious wouldve definitely sensed that anakin was in danger as he did originally, but he would have probably sensed that the danger now is even greater and might have acted more swiftly, allowing him to avoid his encounter with yoda and help anakin on mustafar.

Another section I have planned as well is when they are going to enter Mos Eisley where Jyn suggests they should use a cover story which she comes up with saying that Obi-Wan and Luke are father and son and she is Luke's wife with R2 and C-3PO being a wedding gift, (which does lead to a joke where Luke states that who gets droids as a wedding gift on Tatooine) I'm also going to be touching on survivors guilt with Jyn as well with her thinking about how her entire squad died as well as her feeling guilt about every death caused by the death star. A New Hope is as far as I have planned right now, I do intend to touch on certain comics that happen between A New Hope and Empire, and also between Empire and Return of the Jedi and beyond but I still need to plan. right now however I am working on a completely different fan fiction set in the Elder Scrolls universe.

Honestly, there's NEVER been any reason Mace DIDN'T survive the fall. None. When has a long fall EVER been that dangerous to a Jedi or a Sith? By nature they have the ability to survive that by using the force. Even Luke took some long falls and was fine. Jedi routinely force jump high enough that landing would SHATTER the bones of any normal person but they're fine when they land. Ever jumped down from 10, 20 meters in the air? Your knees would just explode and you'd break half your bones and most certainly die. Even jumping down from 3 or 4 meters is a lot for most people and the heavier you are the harder the impact (so keep that in mind - a 130 lb man will have more chance of surviving a 5 meter fall than a 200+ lb man). ANYway. I think Mace DID survive and simply went into isolation, knowing the order had fallen and there was not anything he could really do against both Anakin and Palpatine even if he confronted them after sneaking past legions of troopers.

10 years for killing dozens of people, including children? Commiting treason? No, impossible. No matter the reason he would have spend the rest of his life in jail if not be executed for his crimes. No level of influence could change that.

I don’t think anakin would be released from a life sentence or the death penalty cause he killed younglings and sided with palpatine so your story makes no sense

I doubt Anakin and Mace would ever speak to each other again, but I think Anakin would have passed a message to Mace explaining his actions, but also pointing out that Windu had acted against the Jedi Code and against the law, so Anakin had saved the Chancellor, which was expected by law, and that Windu did not deserve to live due to his treason against the Jedi Code and the Republic! Mace would likely have sent Anakin a letter or message explaining his actions and pointing out that Anakin had done the same with Dooku! Anakin would reply that Palpatine had told him to and he did as the Chancellor had told him and the Jedi served the Chancellor so it was not treason with Dooku! Dooku was a traitor, he was not a Jedi, he was not part of the Republic! Palpatine may have been a Sith, but he was elected by the people and the Jedi should have told the Senate first and had him removed from office before they acted as Jedi. In the end Yoda would likely say they had both been in the wrong, and to except it and move on and focus on the future. Anakin would say Yoda was getting ignorant in his age and should stand down and let someone of the times lead the Jedi Order! Yoda would likely agree to this as the Republic and Jedi Order had nearly fallen under his leadership and he had been a trusting fool, trusting politics instead of listening to the Will of the Force and being a Jedi Master. "Failed I did. Stand down I must". Mace would likely have been demoted to just being a Jedi Master and likely removed from the Council for his actions.
