Anakin I believe was too imbalanced to be able to defeat Yoda. True, his speed and power could defeat Yoda particularly as his experience and knowledge of Yoda would make him think. That being said, Yoda I think, is powerful enough and experienced enough to be one of the few to defeat him

Yoda would easily win especially with Anakin mentality . Palpatine himsel said that Anakin would surpass the both of them eventually. So he with his full understanding of Anakins power at that moment believed that Yoda was still superior

What if Mace Windu agreed with Anakin when he was about to kill Palpatine

A few weeks/months after getting into the suit Sidious told Vader he is lucky that Yoda didn't fight him on Mustafar. That tells me Yoda would win the fight.

Honestly, I have no doubts that Yoda would beat Anakin, and wouldn't be afraid to finish him off either. I think there was a book or a comic in which Palpatine pretty much stated as much to Vader, that he was fortunate it was Obi-Wan and not Yoda that went to Mustafar to face him, as Yoda would have killed Anakin if and when he beat him.

That was honestly one of the best videos I had ever listen to nice job on the video man. I really enjoyed listening to it, especially the part where Anakin explain why he turned back to the light. it made sense. It was fun to listen to, and I even like how you explained how Anakin explained to the Senate. How Palpatine had manipulated him throughout his child head all the way until he turned to the dark side.

After seeing the duel between Yoda and Sidious in the senate and that of Obi-wan and Anakin in Mustafar I think that Yoda would have killed Anakin in a short time without any problem

In Legends Yoda would lose to Anakin but in Canon he would beat Anakin. Anakin in legends was already stated to be the most powerful force user and there are tons of statement stating Anakin was the most powerul jedi in the order when he was still in the light and when he began to use the DS he was quite literally in a league of his own far surpassing Sidious and even Yoda.

I think a more interesting story would be if anakin won the fight against yoda. We know who the most powerful is, obviously yoda, but what if anakin got a cheap one in like darth maul did with quigon? It makes for a more compelling mirror for anakin and more interesting narrative moving forward

George Lucas already confirmed this several years ago. If Yoda had been the one to go to Mustafar, Anakin wouldn’t have won.

Anakin only gets arrogant toward people who connect him too his past life, after killing the separatists leaders the novelization says he fully embraced himself in the dark side. At that point he was ready to kill sidious once he figured out the secret to saving Padames life. Anakin wins moderate diff.

Wow! This is interesting indeed. A part of of me wishes it did go this way and Anakin redeems himself, but another part is glad it didn’t. He does go to the light side of the force in the end, redeems himself and Luke saves the galaxy. The Star Wars saga is a tragedy. Full of life, death, and suffering and struggle. Anakin does bring balance back to the force, but not the way we wanted to. His story is a sad and heartbreaking one but it was necessary for his son to be the one to bring his father to the light side. For without it there wouldn’t be a Star Wars saga and a story that is epic and unforgettable.

What if order 66 never happened? Mace windu kills palpatine before Anakin arrives.

What I never understood was how the jedi council thought making Anakin basically spy on Palpatine would turn out well. They know that darkness surrounded the Palpatine, they didn't know he was a sith, but they knew someone very close to him was very experienced with the dark side of the force.

Obi-Wan and Yoda should have double teamed Sidious on Coruscant first. It would have put the newly christened Vader into a unstable place if his new master was suddenly gone and then Obi-Wan and Yoda could have taken him even easier.

Anakin wouldn’t do that against yoda he knew he could beat obi-wan therefore his arrogance but he would not underestimate yoda and I feel sidious probably would have been on the way to fight yoda with anakin like how he was on his way when he fought obi-wan

If Yoda and Obi-wan switched places on that last fight, there would be two people dead- Anakin and Obi-Wan. (Unless they kept that creepy puppet version of Yoda from the original Episode 1, then Anakin may had a chance of winning).

Considering his (Vader's) actions in episode 6 it is plausible that your scenario could have played out.

The sensible thing to do would’ve been Yoda and Obi-Wan confront the emperor, then go to Mustafá together to defeat vader

You can only find one thing that describes a story using such specific words as "Electricity crackling in the air, a testament to the Emperors malevolence ect."

(Cough)..What if Yoda went to Mustafar? lol. Ok, i'll play. Here's what i see... First of all, Vader is the only one who talks. He starts spouting all his Sith sht, "You shouldn't have come Master Yoda..." "I have become more powerful than any Jedi, even you..." , blah blah blah. Yoda doesn't say sht; just sits down and looks up at him with those big, froggy, pity-filled eyes. Then as Vader continues to trash talk and threaten, Yoda just sits there, closes his eyes in meditation and waits. Vader, filled with rage at Yoda's calm, lunges with his lightsaber with all his force might right down at Yoda's head. Yoda, with lightning force speed, scoots over about 3 feet to the side, focuses all his force power to pull the weapon out of Vader's hand, leaves it ignited, spins it at Vader's head, all in one millisecond motion....and Vader's lifeless, headless body thuds to the ground. Yoda opens his eyes, picks up his walking stick, and limps away. End of Star Wars as we know it.

I don’t foresee this battle ever taking place. Anakin respected yoda , yoda was the only one Anakin liked on the counsel besides obi wan, and it seems that yoda arrived at the time padme would have, at that time Anakin was crying, he was sad, he regretted what he did in the temple, he cried for that and for the person he used to be, it’s stated in both novels of ROTS and The Rise And Fall of Darth Vader. So yoda would’ve sensed this coming from Anakin, and he would’ve seen this and would’ve realized this isn’t what he wanted because in the novels it tells how Anakin didn’t want to control the galaxy, he didn’t want to kill everyone, he just wanted to save padme and that those were the cards he was dealt in order for him to save padme. He planned to kill sidious and destroy the sith after padme gave birth, he cared nothing for the sith, he just wanted his wife and kid to live. Yoda would’ve noticed this, well sensed it but this is why I don’t see the battle happening, because it was padme that set Anakin off and obi wan to fuel the flame, but yoda, yoda wouldn’t have set him off, he actually liked yoda, even as Vader he still appreciated yoda trying to help him in the clone wars, good story but I feel this route I’m speaking of makes way more sense

Imagine how scary it would be if you were anakin and you watch as yoda steps out from his ship. The greatest Jedi, who hunted you through the universe to eliminate you.

The flight with obi was personal. Thats why anakin was so aggressive. He wpuld not have approached yoda like that. Although yoda would use his emotions to his advantage. I would say yoda would have won just because of how he would have been able to focus and has hundreds of years more of experience and training over everyone

If Anakin would’ve fought Yoda, the fight would’ve been over with. He would have not lost one of his arm and legs. I think Yoda would’ve use the force to knock him out in the beginning.

what if Anakin and Obi-Wan were the same age when Qui-Gon Jinn found Anikin. Then Qui-Gon raised them both together but Obi-Wan eventually turns to the dark side from jealosy because everyone always worshiped the "chosen one" Anakin his whole life.

I don’t believe that Obi-Wan, Yoda and Ahsoka would go into Palpatine’s half cocked and not prepared for a fight. Remember, Obi-wan and Yoda both have experienced Force Lightning from Dooku. You think they wouldn’t have expected the same from Palpatine? And Anakin as a deus ex machina?

A Nice Story, but Yoda would have Defeated Anakin QUITE easily. Experience Will ALWAYS TRUMP Skill and Yoda has CENTURIES, nearly a Millennia of experience OVER Anakin. Also, not sure why Yoda is suddenly unable to repulse Sidious' lightning in this story but I guess it makes for a good entrance for Anakin. The reason why Yoda and Obi-wan didn't fight Palpatine together was because as Obi-wan had said in the novel, that Sidious took on 4 of the greatest Jedi Masters in the order.. and LOST. How could just the two of them win?? To which Yoda replied "Together we can not, but individually we might". Yoda knew that Sidious had both Deeply studied each of the Masters fighting styles and weaknesses and also practiced to take on Several Jedi Masters at the same time, which iS a different Kind of training than taking on a Master of Yoda's level one on one. That's why he Knew that they stood the best change of success by attacking in a one on one scenario against both Sidious and Anakin.
